Love it!

Attended and graduated here. The staff is the worst melting pot of deeply insecure people yet on the highest horses. Spoke to me like trash, treated me worse. and I was going through the hardest time of my life while trying to pick myself up with a new career choosing what I loved this time. I would never recommend this school. Never.

I did a lot of research looking for the right makeup school for me and my interests.  MUD was the best place for me.  Teachers go above and beyond for their students and they have a great career placement program.  They have a New York location too, if that’s something you’re interested in.

Ive researched, called, checked out many many many makeup schools on the east and west coast and even in Europe.. I dont regret picking makeup Designory. The LA campus and NYC campus are both amazing. Everyone at both locations are so helpful, fun, cheerful, and AMAZING! Theyre always willing to help you. Teachers go above and beyond. Career services? As long as you let them know what you need help with, what youre looking for, and a game plan..they will help you. You cant expect them to do everything for you, but they will review your resume, website, etc. and help you fix things up and help find you jobs, but getting the job is up to you. As long as youre trying your hardest you will get the help you need in class to career services. I moved cross country and housing and administration made sure I didnt need a place to stay on multiple occasions. Everyone at MUD LA/NYC are super helpful and absolutely amazing at all of their jobs you can tell they all want to help and see you be successful. Taking the Master Makeup artistry program was the best decision I ever made. Did I mention you can retake any class forever? If I havent convinced you to come here and youre still looking for a school remember this school is the most extensive makeup school I have found. MUD is Monday-Friday and 812 hours for the master class which many schools dont even offer an 812 hour course... this school is worth it!

I took their master course and I dont regret taking it! This school really breaks that glass ceiling and gives you opportunities to meet and be around professionals in the industry. I graduated a little over a year ago, and I already have my dream job. Working for a recognized professional artist making feature films! If you put in the work, you can do it too! :) The teachers genuinely care about what youre creating and want the best for you. I still go back to ask questions and say hi to this day! Cant get enough of MUD!

They obviously don’t care about promoting their school since they don’t pick up the phone , I’ve been calling for days now.

Its my dream to learn at MUD..... lets see when my dream comes true.... finger crossed. :)
