Copeland has been great to deal with for service on my lease. The only negative fir me is that I don’t always get a call in the time frame given. For example: I had a recall service done along with an oil change and a sticker recently. My appt was at 8AM. I was told both on the phone and when I dropped off that the car would be ready “early afternoon.” To me that mean before 3. My car was still not ready at 3 or 4. It was a long afternoon of waiting. That’s my only negative really. I’m up extremely early so by 4 and after…. I don’t always feel like going anywhere during the week at that time. Everyone is super nice!

I brought my car in for it to be looked at on August 10th to see what was wrong with it because everything kept shutting off I thought it was the power steering. Because its electric. So Melvin realized that my battery was loose and they fixed it without my permission to mount a nut under the one that was already there I believe they took advantage of me because I am a woman because you can buy nut from anywhere and put it on under the nut that was already there. Thats how they mounted on the nut and charged me $200.00. I cant understand how that was $200.00. If they had asked me if I wanted it to be repaired I would have said no. When I called to check on the car at 3:30pm Melvin was not there when he called me back at 4:00pm he let me know the car was ready to be picked up .I drop the car off at 8:45am I dont know why wouldnt you call me to let me know anything before you fix it.

I very rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to as I had an odd experience at Copeland - where we have always had good luck. We had taken our car into our local mechanic who found that the torque converter needed to be replaced. He recommended going to a dealer in case our car was still under warranty. We did, and it was under warranty - just shy of 6 days ending! - when they fixed it the person who I spoke with seemed angry we managed to get this done under the warranty but fine - maybe he had a bad day. When he called again to let us know the work had been done, he proceeded to let me know they test drove the car (to make sure the issue was the torque converter) he noticed our car had no third gear and the transmission needed to be replaced which would be $6-7k. While this was ringing in my ears he starts to discuss with me about buying a new car and would I think about trading mine in etc. It was all very sudden and pushy. I explained I would need to speak with my husband and could we come get the car - he wouldnt say either way and asked about buying new cars again. I told him I would talk to my husband. We hung up and he called 2-3 more times that afternoon about when we were coming in etc. We ended up picking up our car - it is driving completely normally with no sensors lit. We brought it back to our trusted mechanic who said the car looks good now... so I am a little incensed and wary of ever going to back to Copeland now. Sure we have chosen to trust one person over another but given how pushy the Toyota person was I am way more inclined to trust the local mechanic. I happen to be in the company of friends who heard the conversation and can confirm it didnt seem sound and seemed to have an ulterior motive. Also, it would seem crazy our car would just loose a gear - it is well under 100K miles and is a toyota - we bought it for the lasting transmission :)

I test drove the herb chambers and expressed concerns they basically told me it is what it is! But they were determined to get me to buy!!! No warranty whatsoever!!!! Dishonest, rude, and disrespectful. Tried to buy my Tacoma at the end of my lease and was told nobody buys out a lease and theyd have to keep my truck for several weeks if I decided to do that and I should just turn my truck in instead. Turns out that was a total lie and I was able to buy out the lease from a different Toyota dealership down the road -- without having to leave my vehicle behind and without being talked to like I was an idiot child. Save yourself some frustration and try Route 44 Toyota instead. Thanks for lying to my face, Copeland.

I purchased my vehicle on October 1, 2020. It was an absolutely great experience and I had the pleasure to work with Marcy and Carleen. Marcy was awesome and I appreciate him working with me. Was in for service on Saturday. What a nice relaxing environment while waiting for your car. Dunkin Donuts next door doesn’t hurt. I drive over 30 miles to go there for service and could probably go to 20 closer dealerships but I appreciate knowing that there will never be an issue if I continue to go to Copeland for my services. I’ve had a dozen Toyota’s between my wife and myself and it’s the only place I would buy and service my vehicles at.

Got the car I wanted. Pressured to buy so that they could get the sale on the books before end of month.Two disappointments. A RAV4xle with chrome wheels yet no wheel locks? STRANGE. Went to the parts department and purchase a set. $41.00. Also a brand new auto WITHOUT floor mats. Again strange.Solution......contacted WEATHER TECH. Purchased floor mats & cargo liner. $210.00+. Conclusion, should not have to purchase locks & mats which should have come with the auto. Never purchased a car before that didnt come with the above mentioned items. OH WELL........

Last time I had a minor issue that I contacted Todd Copeland about. He was gracious, listened to my concern, thanked me for calling and promised to make things right, which he did. The promise having the truck in 2 weeks and in one week and 5 days I got a call that my truck just arrived. We are 2 generations buying from Copeland and we will continue to purchase from them. On consecutive Mondays my husband dropped off our cars in order to have new airbags installed because of the recall. Both times my husband had to wait for around an hour for a rental car despite the fact that appointments had been made and confirmed. This is not Copeland Toyotas fault as they subcontract the rentals but it leaves a bad taste in the mouth.It would have been nice if they could have provided door to door service for the rental because of the inconvenience of having to once again get a new airbag installed but I guess that would have been asking a lot.Another problem we had was that my husband forgot one of the bills proving a new airbag had been installed and I had to call twice to get one emailed.Despite these hiccups we have purchased all of our cars at Copeland Toyota and always receive courteous customer service and will continue to do so in the future.

I put a deposit on a 2021 RAV4 Prime with premium options and in Supersonic Red which one of the most difficult to acquire and they were extremely helpful and always kept me up to date with the progress of its construction and delivery. It took four months from start to finish but they produced what they promised.
