Had a wonderful experience here. My fiance (now husband) went in and got a beautiful piece of wood, and one of the associates, Ken, laser engraved it for us as a guestbook for our wedding. I used to love and swear by Rockler. Until recently they had fantastic customer service. Now that you arent able to go in the store youre forced to rely on help from their associates. Totally understandable. The problem is when I tried to get help finding something the other day the guy who answered the phone couldnt be bothered to even try to help. He didnt even pretend to try. Instead he was rude and dismissive. Good thing theyre not the only game in town.

I was thrilled to receive the best customer service I have ever received today. Les was extremely knowledgable, kind, and patient. I have been stuck in a house that needs tremendous rehab for months. As I have had time to fix things, I have made it to some bucket list items that have veered outside my comfort zone. Les helped me find what I needed and gave me information that I needed even more. I came home with better quality tools that are suited more for the task than I would have gotten on my own. Ive only been home a couple hours and was able to check one task off the list. I wish I had known about your store before now. I will definately return the next time I need something. Im so glad I took the time to check out this store.

Rockler always has what I need, and tons of things I didnt know I needed until I saw it there. Their prices arent amazing but if youre in the St. Louis area and you need woodworking tools TODAY, this is where you will end up. Tools get what you need because theres a 99% chance they have it.

Great store but dont order anything online from them. Placed 2 online orders from the store and both took days to ship. The last order only had 2 of 3 items ordered. How can an online order system not be tied to inventory. And I never got a back order notice just my tracking stating only 2 items were being shipped. Poor corporate customer service and slow delivery just leaves the door open for Amazon God Help Us.

Their online customer service is horrible. It was a fight to get help from them. They just didnt seem to want to help. The in-store experience is much better though. A good place for many unique items although prices are a bit high. Great when you need something fast. Also, Rockler brand stuff is pretty good and there is no other place to get their stuff.

Have been shopping here since at least 2001; always helpful, friendly, courteous and they are right next to Guitar Center! Over the years I have bought several pieces of project lumber such as purple-heart, character maple, quarter sawn white oak, both large & small pieces. Good quality lumber & tools as well. I have never been disappointed here.

I cannot speak highly enough of this location, everyone from Ed to the Manager are always more than willing to impart knowledge and help out.

Treated rudely when I walked in at 7pm on Black Friday. Absolutely refused to sell me the tools I had in my hands. The old man behind the counter barked at me that the cash registers were closed and they were closed. Good enough. Shopping at Rocker is optional. Very optional.

One of the only places I know of to buy wood for hobbies and crafting, as well as the tools to work it. I did a few projects and the people here were able to help out or at least point me in the right direction.

When I asked the sales associate about a certain part, he was able to site the specific name and company that manufactured and sold it, even though he didnt sell it. Having read a few negative customer service reviews I will have to say I am totally baffled. I have had 100% the opposite experience and feel like it is the old fashioned hardware store type experience with a focus on wood working.Yesterday was a good example with their torsion hinges. I thought it would be pretty much a grab and go but its not and even though they are all the same price, they have to be calculated by the weight and width of the lid. I didnt know this when I arrived to the store, figured bigger is better so to speak. When I inquired the man helping me was VERY nice and not condescending at all. He told me if I got ones that were too strong it was going to cause the screws to strip out whci I had not thought of at all.He helped me estimate it however I was incorrect on my measurements and will be headed back today. I have been to this store at least 7 times since March and have had very good experiences everytime.I bought the 1617ev router kit from them and got extremely good advice when looking at about every kind of router there is trying to pick as I had only every owned a cheapie craftsman or black and decker 50 dollar unit in the past.They get all five stars from me.

I love going to the Bridgetown Rockler store. The employees there are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They have amazing sales and clearance prices. I try to stop by weekly to see whats new. If youre into wood turning, Ed is the man to talk to!
