Store is clean and organized. Ive had to order a Skye Build-A-Bear that was out of stock and they were so nice about it, letting me know when itll come and that I could either order it pre stuffed or come in after to go through the process which I chose for my daughter to have fun. I received it within the week, went in and my daughter had such a wonderful experience building it. The employees there really make the process seem so magical to kids. Ive had to go back for a different bear surgery since my daughter accidentally ripped the seams, they were more than happy to take care of that. I always receive the best customer service here and always recommend it, the prices can be on the high end but you can catch some on the low end, but the experience your child gets is really worth the price.

Sad that theres now a fee for the boxes. Washing station was removed. Not as exciting for children. Need a better selection of clothing.

First of all if I could give this location 10 stars I would! Taylor and Charity are made for this place! They are so sweet, caring and just down right passionate about what they do! We took our daughter here for her birthday and we all built bears. The experience is definitely an unforgettable one! Thank you so much to the business and to your employees for making this visit so heartfelt! We loved every minute and will definitely return in the future❤️

The Visit was great it was one of the Boys birthday and they each got a bear. I had 3 boys and 1girl with me.

Build a bear is such a great store!! The have many different bears and other animals to choose from. Pick out your item, then you bring it to be stuffed. You can add a heart & also sounds and scents to it as well! Once its done, you can pick out all kinds of cool clothes and accessories for your bear. Its a lot of fun!!

Friendly staff but severely under stocked, barely any options and very overpriced. Big let down from what they used to be.

Well this place the kids can pick out what they want to get stuffed and they can put like a heart into the stuffed animal and then by also close and accessories for the stuffed animal kids love doing it

There was a bit of a wait outside the store, but that is understandable under current circumstances. If an appointment can be made Id definitely suggest doing so. Everyone in the store was very nice and my kids had a blast.

If you didnt know...Build-A-Bear does pay your age for a birthday bear anytime during the kids birthday month. I paid just $4 for a bear! Awesome deal for the kiddos. They even rang a bell and made an announcement to the entire store that it was my daughters birthday. Then everyone yelled Happy Birthday!. Besides being able to stuff her own bear with love, this totally made her day!

If I could give Taylor 6 star I would. I have been looking for a Peter Rabbit for a year. Tonight I went with my husband to the Brandon mall. It was 8:55 pm and we happen to pass by the store and there it was...my Peter Rabbit...at the window, looking at me. The cashier was ringing up the last customer and Taylor was ready to close the store...until my husband told him if we can buy the Peter Rabbit, he was very helpful, he let us in, help us look for the plush, turn on the stuffing machine, did the whole magic moment of putting the heart inside etc and turn on the computer so I can make my birth certificate. He even ask me if I want him to dress my Peter with the shirt and jacket we purchase. He made my day! Looking at his disposition to help customers made me realize there is still good people in retail. People that not only are there to make money but to serve the way is suppose to be. Thank you Taylor for been so friendly, simpatetic and helpful!!

We were surprised by the selection at this store. Its good size and has a lot of bears/characters to choose from. The staff was friendly and they kept people moving pretty fast while taking the time to treat the kids to a special experience. While its stupidly expensive, you know that going into it and let it be the special experience its suppose to be.

It was great to find a Build A Bear while on a small getaway from the NYC hustle and bustle. I walked into a very clean and kept shop. I was instantly greeted by Nathalie. She was very professional and informative about all promotions going on. I was very indecisive about what kind of bear to purchase; Nathalie came to the rescue and helped me out choosing a bear and accessories. She always had a smile throughout my entire visit as well as showing me some of her personal favorite stuffed animals. Making a great rapport with me and others who came into the store. I never had so much fun making a bear but she had the best building process ever. Who knew stuffing and adding a heart to a bear can make me smile and laugh so much. Did I mention she handled everything in the store by herself!!! Build A Bear you have outdone yourself with having Nathalie in your ranks! She shined so much I couldnt thank her enough for all the help she gave me. She can definitely give a few pointers to the NYC staff on making each visit a memorable one. Thank you for all your hard work never stop shining and continue being awesome!!!

OMG, where to start. I had my daughters birthday party here. It was so cute. They do such an amazing job. The the lady who hosted the party was definitely the best party host weve ever had. She was so happy and so energetic with these kids and even her makeup was just so cute (it looked like freckles but it was confetti). It was by far the best experience we had and we will definitely have another party here!Thank you so much all the staff was super friendly! Made for a very easy party on our end!!

Build-a-Bear Workshop is a fun experience to do with your children at least once. Yes, its a bit pricey for a stuffed toy, but youre paying for a memorable experience more than just the product (think: a trip to the movies/Disney). The choices of stuffed animals are very cute. The child can choose his/her stuffed animal, pick out a sound (optional) and add its heart. Then, a team member stuffs and closes up your new buddy. You can then brush the animals fur, pick out some extras and register the animals adoption papers to your child or yourself. The staff is super-nice to the children, and its a very adorable experience. All the clothes and other add-ons can drive up the price if youre not careful. Unless youre ready to do a major splurge (possibly over $100), come in with a budget for your child so theyre not disappointed.

My son is in the military, so our family has been to several build a bears throughout the USA. I can honestly say I’ve never come across someone as high energy and charming as Vicky. Her personality was a breath of fresh air, I hope she is recognized for her outstanding performances. Great place, will be back.

Just had my sons 4th birthday party today with Charity and she was beyond AMAZING with the kids! Wrangling five 4-5 year olds isn’t for the faint heart and she did awesome with them! Definitely worth every penny and will be looking to do it again. I actually for once got to watch my kids have fun and take pictures instead of stressing trying to get a party together.

Great experience! My daughter saved up her birthday money to get her unicorn and loved the stuffing process. They even had a song she loved she was able to add that the unicorn plays.

Brought my 7 year old daughter to build a bear with the card she recieved for her birthday. The sales associate asked if she was a Girl Scout and she said yes. They said the store is only open to Girl Scouts. I asked if it was any Girl Scout or just their council or a select troop and she looked at me blankly and again said it’s for Girl Scouts. A troop mother told me it’s only for their troop. The rude associates attitude told me to return at 230 when they open. We walked around the mall for 45 minutes and returned at 220. And were told they are done for the day. They are closed after the people in line go inside, and no I could not wait at the end of the line, when my daughter asked and had a sign put in front of her face. I asked what time they closed and she said 6. I looked at the small line and asked if they could not filter the line by then? She said I can walk around the mall and come back by 6 and see if I can get in or if they decide to open. Crying child, super rude clueless associate, clueless security guard, horrible experience, child still crying 15 minutes later from the way the lady was speaking to her. Disappointment she will get over. A sign in the face is just rude. Thank you for the horrific experience. My 15 year past career in retail management as a district manager begs me to ask; where do they find their associates? Are they embarrassed at their level of service? Is there a dress code?!?!?! Isn’t a children’s store supposed to be kind to children and not make them cry in the middle of the mall?

Staff is so fun and friendly. I like that there is a large selection of bears and other creatures you can make for any budget. The kids have a lot of fun making their bears and going through the entire process.

I went in today shopping for my daughter as a surprise. It was my first time going but always heard about Build A Bear. I was greeted by Genie with a bubbly personality and was given the best service ever. I can see why kids love this place. Genie went above and beyond to get me the perfect Bear. She asked so many questions, smiled the entire time & I will definitely be coming back!

They have a nice friendly staff. A wide variety of stuffed animals to choose from. Cute bear outfits. A station to make your birth certificate. Name your bear. And also a station to make hearbeats and voice recordings. The stuffing process is adorable as well. A little on the expensive side.

What a horrible experience. We walked in they immediately came over and introduced themselves (that was great) we tell them its our daughters birthday, they give her a sticker and hat she picks out 2 bears and we are instructed to wait at a computer for our bear to be filled.... So we wait and wait and wait our 3 year old is getting very impatient at this point and so are we. Then we notice another family getting their bear filled that wasnt ever in line! I am furious at this point (we were the ONLY family in the store when we first came in how did you forget about us waiting in line) the family waiting behind us is getting angry also so I carry my screaming 3 year old out the door and threw the 2 bears back in the bins what a terrible birthday experience I will never give them my business again. $24 for a pink cat I can find that at any toy store and not have to deal with line cutting waiting for it to be stuffed.

It is 2:30pm on a Tuesday. There are a total of 7 people in the store... including employees. We have been waiting 40 minutes to enter the store. This is unacceptable.

I am so upset right now with this store experience that my kids and I went through tonight. I took my 4 children to the build-a- bear workshop at the Brandon Florida mall, and for three of them it was their first time besides being able to stand in line for a couple of minutes before being turned away and given a coupon to come back later. We arrived more than 20 minutes before Closing and once we walked in my kids were instantly excited to see everything they had. So we ended being the lost customer and made our way to the register to check out at about 9:03 because that is when they got finished stuffing the bears. When we started checking out the manager GiGi, who was checking us out, then handed me back a coupon because it could not be used for my oldest daughters bear so I asked if she can changed the bear out really quickly, in which she said with an attitude “yes, she can get another bear but we’re not going to be able to stuff the bear because it’s 9:07 and we had to close a while ago”. So i said I understand that she is ready to go but I was her last customer and was not aware that the coupons had those restrictions so I’ll just take her another day since she refused to ask the other rep to stuff it really quick so we can leave right after. My daughter was disappointed but there was nothing I could do. After I got my receipt I noticed that the two bears was more than what was advertised on all four bins that the bears was out of. So I told her and she said to me the sometimes people switch the signs, and I replied back that I know that in this case that was not true so I immediately walked over to show her the four bins and signs attached in which it was the description and they all said $22 dollars and both bear rang up $24 dollars each. The manager walked over with an attitude and took all four signs which had been there the whole day because remember this was the end of the day and she then said “ I said people switch signs” while removing them. I have been a manager at a retail store before I have ran a business and still am running two, so I know false advertisement and your supposed to honor the price that is posed and how to have excellent customer service. This experience goes against everything that should have been thought in a training room before even dealing with customers. This manager should not even being manager a store that is supposed to be making kids happy i didn’t get loud with her or have an attitude with her she didn’t even take the time to give my kids boxes for their bears. GiGi was so unprofessional and not nice at all. My oldest Is upset.

The associates there are amazing. If Genie is there while you are, definitely go to her. Do avoid Paola though, especially as your cashier. She will charge you extra for items while giving you the impression it is free and then call you a liar to your face when you come in to get the issue resolved.

Not only did I stand in line & get turned away on July 12th.. however yesterday July 14th I brought my daughter back, thinking everything was okay & they turned me away again even though I thought they closed at 9pm & it wasn’t even 8pm yet. The lady was very rude. I’m so over this place at this point. Build a Bear use to be my favorite place as a kid and it seems like they are going down hill. Their Customer service is horrible, and that’s coming from someone who is a manager in customer service.. my daughter left in tears once again.

The team here is working so hard despite all of the rude customers who do not understand that the workers here have nothing to do woth whats going on. Depsite only being young adults, they have proven themselves beyond a reasonable doubt and all the people who are complaining are only doing so because they couldnt get exactly what they wanted when they wanted it. These people are working around the clock to bring smiles and theyre doing great. If you disagree then you should be ashamed quite frankly.
