Really bad experience even to enter the showroom. I told the person at the door I have no appointment but was asked to stand in the line. When my turn came, the rep came to inform that we can’t let you in because you don’t have an appointment. Just when the person in front of me was given an appointment. She told me the person behind me might be given an appointment as well but that I should come tomorrow. I certainly expect much better customer experience with Apple and would have preferred they explain the situation in a simple manner.

I ordered a new iPhone online and then I need help transferring my information over. My laptop isn’t currently working and I have too many files for my iCloud storage. I go to the Apple website to make an appointment and then I see they don’t have options for data transfer. So I make one for general iPhone help/repair for 5:45 today. I arrive at 5:00 and walk in just to check if they could get me in any earlier if they weren’t too busy. I explain exactly what I was in to do and the employee pulls up my appointment and then tells me they can’t get me in any earlier. That’s 100% fine, I walk around the mall and do other things until my appointment. I get back at 5:45 and walk in and see same employee and try to check in. He explains that since my appointment isn’t for “data management” I cannot be helped until tomorrow because my appointment is wrong. When I explain that option wasn’t available he goes “sorry the website is buggy but we can’t help you.” How did this person not bother to say something the first time?? I don’t know if it’s idiocy or apathy but its horrible customer service just shooing me off like that after I wasted over an hour getting here from work. Will not come back again ever.

My son graduated this year so we wanted to reward him with a new cellphone. When got to the store nobody greeted us or acknowledged us. We looked around and my son found one he liked, it was $600. We asked for help and the associate said they could not help us unless we make an appointment ahead of time!! We left the store to say the least, we have never felt so unwelcomed. We went to another electronic store and bought it there..I guess they didnt want our $600...

What a terrible experience. I came from overseas all excited about being in an apple store and not a single store attendant came to talk to me. I tried to catch and call for some attention and they were all standing a row looking. Looking at me as though they were in zoo. Even when I voiced my disappointment to one of the attendants in passing, all they could say is they will look for someone to help me. I guess apple has a ‘type’ of clientele and am not one of them. I needed to buy an Apple Watch and the latest iphone. I will definitely never ever buy another apple product in my life. The shop might as well have been closed or be bold enough to tell some of us customers not to enter the store and waste our time.

I had good experiences here pre pandemic but now employees are negligent and try not to give you eye contact when you’re waiting to be serviced. After my appointment had passed 30 mins time I asked an employee what was the hold up and she said “oh we were looking for you” yet I stated where they asked me to and was never approached, texted/emailed. The employees didn’t want to help and worst of all after 10 more minutes I was met with another employee who told me the tablet I was trading in wasn’t available in any local stores at the moment. I wondered why the employee from the day before even made an appointment knowing what exactly I was trading in if he knew they hadn’t had them in stock in the area. Btw if you just want to buy a product you have to schedule an appointment.

Terrible customer service I went to the store twice and their employees saw me very badly (I think because I was a Latina they thought I couldnt buy any of their products) I dont know if the service was just for us or for all their customers. in the end I had to go to best buy to buy the ipad for my son.

My 2019 MacBook air failed to startup so I had to take it to the GENIUS bar to get it fixed. The tech tried to reset it infant of me, it didnt work, he decided to take it to the back so he can open it up and see whats going on. He came back after 20 minutes or so and said the logic board is out and needs to be replaced for $428. He couldnt tell me the cause. I decided to take it back home because whatever I was told wasnt making any sense. It ended up working after replacing a $20 part. My computer is back and running like new. Logic board was not the issue.

Went to pick up Iphone ordered online- fully already paid. Security staff told me to wait outside of the store. then they figured that my Fabric mask is not thick enough for they high standards and demanded me to wear double mask or they wont let me in to pick up my order, i of course left and canceled my ordered - hopefully i will get full refund. I never had this bad experience with Apple and will avoid that store with all costs.

Spent $1300 on a new phone only to leave the store with an expensive block of non-working electronics. Then had to go to Verizon in Germantown to get the phone activated. They also copied all of the data which Apple would not do. Verizon was awesome, Apple not.

Meh curbside pickup experience. Followed confusing instructions for parking only to have the associate miss the delivery. Calling the store does not actually connect you to an in-store employee but a remote associate who has no idea about the order and is unable to get through to the physical store.

Every single thing about my experience has been a disaster. Bought a brand new Mac, and was promised they would transfer the data from my old one if I made an appointment and brought it in. So I did. When I arrived, they said my computer was too old and they couldnt help me. Later I found out the new computer had a bad hard drive, and so I brought it back, but they refused to take it without me making an appointment, despite being told I didnt need one from Apple support. Nobody cared, nobody tried to solve problems, nobody was empowered to make decisions. You literally cant even call the store (it goes to a call center). Its an absolute joke. Ill never use then again.

This is one of my favorite Apple stores to go to. I can come here even if I don’t need to buy anything. Came here to get my IPhone Pro fixed and everything went OK. My apple genius was friendly, transparent, and got things done. It took longer than we expected to pick up my fixed IPhone but now it working the way it should.

The worst experience ever!!! They truly have no Idea what they are doing. My laptop would not charge. They stated it was the battery, Sent it in and it came back, and still did not work. Same issue, so I took it back to the store. Instead of checking the cable as I had originally asked them to do, they recomended I wait 2 hours to speak to someone. I asked if they could simply plug it in and see if it was the cord. After they plugged it in, it became clear it was the cord. Instead of letting me buy the cord ($20). they recommended I buy the adaptor too (almost $100 all-together). Even though the issue was only the cord. THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL SCAM!!! Worst staff and worst products, for a genius they are pretty daft.

I paid $1379 for iPhone Pru max 12 at this sore. I only got a charger cable without an adaptor. Sales Rep did not even tell me that this phone dose not come with adaptor and I have pay for one. I came home, realized my old iPhone adaptor was not compatible with the cable. I had to drive another 10 miles to buy a an adaptor. Very disappointed with iPhone service.

This year is my first year to buy Apple products in my life. Yesterday I received ipad 8 which was ordered directly on Apple website. Comparing to my friends ipad 4, the video and images displayed on ipad 8 is visibly blurry and the color of video is yellowish. I contacted apple customer support via online chat. A senior advisor asked me to upload screenshots of ipad 4 and ipad 8, she immediately figured out the colors looked different on ipad 4 and ipad 8. She tried to help out, unfortunately the issue was unsolved. She thought it might be software issue, not hardware defects. I went to Apple store in Montgomery Mall, and waited in a line out of store. An apple store employee checked with me. She looked at ipad 8 screen, said it was normal. I didnt agree with her. The screen of ipad 4 made me feel it had higher resolution than ipad 8. My friend found the same problem when she looked at my ipad 8. Unfortunately, the store employee seemed no patience, she refused to take a look at ipad 4, and insisted that Apple couldnt do anything to solve the display quality issue. Well, I prefer to be back to android and windows products.

I went in on Thursday to fix my computer screen. I dont remember the name of the employees helping in the queue line but they were very helpful, kind and efficient! Then when I got inside I was helped by Chris who took an initial look at my laptop, then Dave who gave me the rundown of what the store could do. Dave answered all of my questions and gave me the options that I had and because I had gotten Apple Care + I didnt have to pay for this incident because it was my first one. So I didnt have to pay anything and I went in on Thursday and it was estimated Id get it back in 7-10 days but I got my computer mailed to my house and it was here by Saturday! I was very excited because Im a college student so I rely a lot on my laptop for day to day use and I had to borrow another one while I was waiting so I was happy I got it back so quickly. Overall great experience, thank you to everyone who helped me out this past Thursday!

Montgomery Mall is an exciting, fun and bustling shopping center where it is very easy to find the store you’re looking for.In my case it was the Apple store Montgomery Mall where I bought an iPad Air 3. The experience at Apple store was immersive and busy and I was booted up and ready to go in an hour.The food court at Montgomery is also great. I look forward to my next trip to the Mall.

Everything inside the store is very nice and hip - folks can write long romantic novels on that.What is very underwhelming and the cause for my 1 star is the entire shopping experience. This is NOT the first store to be busy and popular in the history of retail shopping. And this is NOT the only store experiencing long lines given the current situation of social distancing and covid restrictions.But this is MOST DEFINITELY the ONLY store that makes spending gobs and gobs of money such a PAINFUL experience! I get that all apple products (Even the mediocre ones) are Gods gift to humanity, by way of Cupertino. But do we really need to make it such so inconvenient and painful to get our hands on them?First, you must buy the product online. Then why have sales people in the store? Just have a pickup window here.Then you must make an appointment for almost everything you want to do in the store.Next you must get in line to enter the store, even though you made an appointment in step 2 above.Then you are told by the greeter that they will hook you up with the next available agent of God (Apple employee).Then you wait some more.Then you finally meet the store employee (or whatever cool name they may have).Then you explain to them your reason for the visit and wait for their cold response and robotic actions.Then hopefully you are done.And then your life changes, coz you now have a new Apple product!And giving up (more) than 1 paycheck, and hours of your time, and a few extra wrinkles when you waited in line, you finally have a feeling that this has been worth it!

Zero greeting from Apple employees only the confrontational Security staff. Would recommend to avoid this location as the customer service is severely lacking and management doesn’t addressing issues to prevent them from reoccurring.

But now as people purchasing products and trying to setup appointments, it is almost impossible to get a meeting with them as my friend tried multiple times to setup an appointment and also not the best practice of social distancing. This is how far the friendliest Apple Store I have gone to. Visiting the Apple Store isnt always an easy feat. Wait times are usually long, but here its not so bad. The associates are friendly and helpful and do a great job at letting you know that they notice you are there. If you must visit for help, make an appointment. Otherwise, you will have to wait around for a bit.

I went to the Apple Store because my IPhone 11 was not working. The Apple Store staff directed me to use my phone to make an appointment by either using the QR barcode or calling the number on the bottom of the directory with my phone. I indicated that my iphone does not work hence the reason I am there. He did not seem to understand the issue and proceeded to give my the same directions a second time. Again, I indicated that I am there because my iphone is not working. He smartly tells me that I need to borrow someone elses phone to make an appointment and walked away. If Apple staff do not see the problem with that, they need to be fired. If you as a customer service representative for Apple cannot help the customer resolve an obvious issue, you should be fired.

We had a 1:30 appointment, and showed up at the mall at 1:30. (There is no directory in the mall, so it is difficult to find the store, unless you already know where it is.) At 1:46 we had been waiting for 16 minutes in a high-traffic area, with no indication whatsoever as to when we would be served. At that point, we concluded that staying at the Apple store was risky from a health standpoint, and we left. I thought an appointment meant something. They should especially be careful to keep their appointment times during a pandemic, so that customers can minimize their time with crowds of people indoors.

Why would you Rent a store inside the retail location just to turn away customers want to buy something. I recently visited to get the new iPhone 11 Pro. The young man who helped me was great; walked me through and explained each step of the upgrade process. Super friendly and knowledgable staff made the experience fun.I ended up coming back a week later to exchange the iPhone 11 Pro for the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Received equally as good service during my second visit as my first. Store is usually busy and it can be difficult to get assistance at times, but overall it’s a great store.

I went to pick up a new iPhone ordered online and asked assistance to transfer all the data from the old iPhone to the new one. In the beginning, one of the staff told me was impossible because I did not save the data in the iCloud and then the manager told me because of the covid-19 the could not do (even though they checked my temperature). I am not an Apple user. Ive owned Apple products before, but not sure how these stores operate. It seemed like they had more employees than customers. I stood around for a few minutes watching employees talk amongst themselves, literally groups of 6 to 8 sales reps(?) Just talking in a circle. I had to interrupt their conversations to see if they could help me. I just wanted to buy the latest air pods (for a gift). It felt like the sales representative was shocked that I wanted to buy something. They were sold out of the product and didnt know when they would have more. No big deal. My biggest complaint: have the sales reps or techs greet customers. Its customer service 101. Go back to the basics.

Great experience. Made an appointment day of online - on a holiday. expected to wait a long time to get a shattered screen replaced. We went in 2 hours earlier and they put us on the wait list. We were back in there within 20 minutes, the guy gave us phenomenal service and good recommendations, and the phones repair was done in under an hour. All in - we were at the mall for under 2 hours. Amazing! Go Apple store!
