I went in for an eye exam and then ordered glasses from them. The doctor did a great job of finding the right prescription for me, answering all my questions and giving me a good picture of why I needed prescription eyeglasses.The optometrist who helped me choose my eyeglasses was a very professional and skilled, he gave me options for my face shape and fit. Very happy with my purchase and I was able to adjust to my new glasses fairly quickly without any side effects as a first time user.If you are in doubt about your frame selection definitely talk to the representatives there, they should be able to help you pick the right pair.

When we moved to Oregon from Oklahoma we chose Visionworks Tanasbourne for out vision needs! We had a great experience with the doctors and assistance. We were so happy we went back the next year. We had great service from the doctors and assistance, but we were told if we needed to fix glasses to bring them in. My husband had sat on his glasses and they needed repair after six months from getting them. The super rude woman at the front desk with long grayish blonde long hair was rude and took his glasses and began bending them with her hands. She told my husband this was how they fixed the glasses and if he didnt like it he could come back another time. He ended up buying a glasses kit at another store, and fixing them himself. Never again Visionworks! We were 7 patients in total.

This was my first time visiting Visionworks. From the minute we walked in the door to the end of my visit they were courteous, professional and made us feel welcome. There were a lot of COVID-19 related protections that made us feel safe. They have a HUGE selection of men’s glass frames which I’ve found is hard to find. Highly recommend this place.

My exam went well. They helped me pick out some nice frames. My husband and two girls ordered there glasses the same day I did. They got their glasses around a week later. Its been over 2 weeks and I am still waiting for my glasses. No updates on whats happening. Whats the deal? You have not fulfilled your two week promises. Not sure what happens if delivery fails the time frame, but Im unhappy about this.

Very friendly and helpful service. Went in for an exam and no insurance, walked out with 2 pairs of glasses ordered at an affordable price. If you dont have insurance they give you a buy one get one free on glasses. My old glasses had been broken and busted for months and were falling apart, hanging on by duct tape and glue, so they rush ordered my first pair at no extra charge. I picked them up at the store 5 days later. Could not be more happy with the experience and service. Highly recommend to anyone, especially if you dont have insurance.

Just had an eye exam here for the first time. I am really impressed with the OD. She is very professional and kind. The other staff were also friendly. My only criticism would be for the staff wearing N95 and KN95 masks - please make sure they fit properly. It did seem that they were loose on many and they make several different sizes. Could be the thing that prevents exposure and keeps everyone safe.

Wouldn’t recommend this location. The optometrist here, Chelsea T. may seem nice at first but on my most recent appointment lacked the level of professionalism I’d expect from an individual like herself. Don’t get me wrong all seemed to be going fine, aside from the slight awkwardness of the receptionist, until I couldn’t make out the letters using my left eye; which she later noted was due to my astigmatism (well yeah). Her proceeding comments and tone when I said I couldn’t make out the letters came off as impatient, rude and flustered, even going so far as accusing me of somehow switching the contacts I had just put in my eye as if I didn’t know my right from left.Like I said I’d expect better from a so-called professional and not to be belittled or rushed at my 10 AM eye appointment! The front staff could also use a few lessons in confidence (they’re timid and awkward) and courtesy/professionalism.Go elsewhere, heck I’ve had better experiences at the Walmart vision center!

I’ve been going here for about 2 or 3 years. I’ve always been happy with the part that just deals with frames up front. They gave me an appointment to have an eye exam, which apparently is a company called Pacific Eye Group, P.C. My appointment was fire 4:15 and when I arrived I had to filll out all new paperwork as I suddenly found out that the clinic that was here before moved out. I was never informed that I was going to a whole new business and I found out they didn’t have any of my records from before. So I go through the paperwork and am told that I can get the standard exam ( eyes dilated, etc.) or for an extra $39.99 I can get the new digital high tech exam.. I chose the standard, and signed for it.So except for the college kid who put me through the preliminary routines, the clinic staff seemed unfriendly, and flustered including the eye doctor. No sense of humor or even a welcoming sense. I was told to wait in the hall because another patient needed the room. Finally the doctor was able to see me, My eyes had been dilated, she did more tests, and told me to wait out in the hall again. I was then told that they were going to take a picture of my eyes. So I was told to wait again. The college kid took the pictures. Then I waited and the doctor examined my eyes and told me the condition of my eyes. I could tell she was flustered and I surmised she was extremely busy but she tried to be informative with a little professionalism.Then I was routed back to the front desk, where the receptionist was taking a lot of time inputting data into the computer. I stood waiting and she told me to go sit down. I asked why it was taking so long.. She said she had to put in all the insurance numbers. I asked what I was waiting for and she said she needed to get the. $39.99 from me. WHAT? I said. She told me I was being charged for the photo which I had earlier declined. There was a glare from her so she stomped off to get the manager so they could comp the charge. The manager understood and said I could go. It was just about 6 PM when I left. I will not go back there except to get the glasses. Lame way to run a clinic! Beware!

Domenic and Margret gave excellence service and were very busy. Margaret was very patient with my visual needs.Then 1 month later and still no glasses!Good thing I called back...since I had paid a month ago....It was clear they were understaffed.

The only reason that I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the optometrist was friendly and knowledgeable. I feel bad that she has to rely on the other staff members to provide customer service to her patients. They are rude, apathetic and either don’t know what they’re talking about or don’t listen. Every interaction that I’ve had here, whether in person or over the phone (the doctor being the only exception) has been unpleasant and unprofessional.

Margaret was absolutely lovely. Her customer service was excellent. She helped me pick out two nice frames at a great price. She made sure I felt comfortable in the frames and had great suggestions for my look. I even received my glasses sooner than I expected. Highly recommend this place.

Went in to look at glasses frames to replace two sets. It was New Years Day, so I knew thew were only going to be open a shorter time. Upon entering at 3:15pm, the only lady in the store rudely told us that their system was down, so they will not be able to do anything and that we should come back tomorrow. She was on the phone, so I didnt know she was loudly talking to us. This was said without a hello or welcome in or any greeting. She also was very quick to tell us that they close at 4pm. She repeated this multiple times and was very rude. I stayed to look at a couple frames without any help from her or the guy who was working there who never even acknowledged us.While I was looking at frames, another customer entered who the lady was very nice and welcoming to and helped right away. I guess the customer service is selective because she never said one word to us after her rude comments about how we were not going to be helped.I will never come back to this store, or any other store in the chain due to this rude lady.

They truly make sure you are happy with your glasses! Rachelle helped me a few times adjusting my new glasses I was having issues seeing. She was able to get them better but the frames I chose were very heavy and I had to continuously had to adjust them. I wasnt happy so I went in and Rachelle didnt hesitate to let me find a new, much lighter frame at the same cost and is having a new pair made for me 😁. Exactly what the guarantee states they want you to be happy with your glasses or they make it right! I always buy my glasses from Vision works and prior when they were Binyons. Really great service from Marisa. She has good tastes and helped me picked the best glasses suitable to me. The only reason I have four stars is because the price is higher than Costco is due to many add on. However, there are many choices and Marisa was very helpful helping me to cut down my choices. I enjoyed working with her, such a joyful person.

My eyeglasses frame broke down on Sunday. I checked everywhere around the neighborhood, mostly they were closed. I found this store, I had a great experience. David assisted me, he was polite, courteous, extremely helpful. Within a minute he found a new frame for me and assisted me to get a contact lenses kit to take out my lenses, he made sure my glasses are great fit.I am extremely impressed and satisfied with the service. Recommend this store to everyone. Great job David!!!!

I broke my glasses and I came to this place to get them fixed. The people here fixed my glasses for free and the were really polite to. It was really quick and I would come again if I break them again.

Great experiences. Our daughter has a very difficult prescription to fill. They had the best selection of frames for her (4yrs old) and when her lenses had to be changed out they were quick to help and get her new ones.

I came in once to browse the frames, and after visiting 3 other places, I came back here because Margaret, the lady that helped me, was extremely courteous and helpful about everything (since Im a total newbie). This is not at all about the doctor. She was nice, informative, and professional and I will gladly see he again.The other people working there are a different story. After filling out paperwork on the website, and getting covid screening, I was told to go check in at a different desk where I stood, ignored completely, by a women on the phone who didnt even acknowledge me after she got off the phone for several minutes. A quick Ill be right with you is all it takes and I would have at least known you are aware Im there. We had our appointments as the last two appointments of the day, and they were already running about a half hour behind. No one said anything to us about them being behind, but they did loudly complain about not getting off work on time to each other. While I was back in my exam my wife overheard them talking to one another about how they hope she doesnt want to buy anything and that we should just come back tomorrow if we do.They also seemed annoyed when I was asking clarifying questions to make sure I understood what I was signing.Honestly, will probably continue to get exams here because, like I said, the doctor herself was great but I will never buy frames or lenses at this location.

My Wife and I took our 2 year old daughter in to get her first pair of prescription glasses. Addison made it such a great experience! She was so kind, knowledgeable, and patient.

David at vision works was really great. I am a first time glass wearer and he was patient with me and took the time to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. This is the best eye care I have ever been to. The exam was easy, except that I have long lashes , thus some of my eye tests had to be redone. After the exam I had a wonderful time working with the sales staff to find the perfect frames for me. I will definitely be back :)

Great visit from start to finish. I hadnt been to the eye doctor in years (like a decade or so!). They made me feel super comfortable, not guilty or ignorant. The woman who checked me in had a great personality. Also, the doctor was hilarious and personable, and I knew he knew what he was talking about. I had no doubts his recommendation was the right one. Sales staff was awesome, Max helped me pick out frames to meet both my style and my budget. I didnt think buying glasses would be fun, or that Id actually purchase my lenses and frames there, but Tanasbourne Visionworks made it happen because of how amazing my experience was!

They are nice but once you order they are in no hurry to get you your glasses. The last 2 times it was after the promise by date and they forgot to do the edge polish both times. I may go elsewhere next time.

No insurance but they had a deal so I spent $300 total. Counting the eye exam for glasses and 2 pair of glasses. Pretty good deal and I’m content with the service! Thanks guys

This was my first visit to Vision Works. Emylee worked out my insurance and helped me select lenses, answering all my questions thoroughly with great courtesy. They have a large selection of frames and I was pleasantly surprised to find the shape I wanted. They saved me some money too, Im a happy customer.3-23-17: Update / Went and picked up my new glasses today. Great service, Curtis custom dyed my lenses and fit the frames. Im seeing much better. I havent had a better eyewear experience in my 57 years.

My glasses got Sat on last night and were almost broken. Took them in today and they fixed them up for free. David was very helpful and courteous. I couldnt ask for better service.

Im very happy with these guys for the most part. We first went a couple years ago and everyone that was working there at the time was very friendly and one of the guys (sorry if I get his name wrong) Curtis, still remembered me from a couple years ago and they made very good notes in my account. The only thing Im not happy with is that they no longer have their tecs in shop and it sound like Curtis is the only one who can do a few things around the store. But over they are very very helpful, detail oriented, and friendly. I would also suggest going in closer to when they open because you will avoid the rushes.

So nice to be able to come in at 4 pm on a Sunday afternoon to have my frames adjuated. Thanks, Dave, for your help today. The folks at thus location are always helpful and ready to serve customers, even if it isnt to buy glasses that day.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with this store. The associates doesnt seem to care about the customer at all. I would say that the Doctor did her best job to diagnose my condition and recommend the glasses, however the lady at the front desk doesnt seem to care if the legs (arms of the glasses) were bit too tight to flex. I bought a frame-less glasses and a tight arm meant chances that I may break it. Ended-up me taking it to another store where the person was helpful to loosen-up the screws on the arm to make it easier to flex. Now I dont fear breaking the glass everytime I open it to wear..

I went in for both an eye exam and to get a new pair of glasses and I was more than pleased with the customer service they provided. Dominic helped me out at first and was really polite and even went the extra mile to make sure that my insurance would cover as much as it could, and even pointed out many reccomendations when it came to frames and comfortness. Layton was extremely helpful when it came to trying on the glasses and getting the correct measurements and lenses. Needless to say that this was my first time here and I was not disappointed at all.

Went in and had great service however, if you need to call and get any information on your own prescription after verifying who you are they give you so much hassle. The guy I talked to that I got transferred to was so rude. Hen didnt tell me what I needed to do or anything just that he couldnt give me my updated prescription. He might know a lot about eyes and a lot about company policy, but customer service and phone etiquette he lacks. I will never go to this place again. I will just pay out of pocket and go somewhere else if this is how they treat their customers when theyre not standing in front of their faces.

Great experience, you can tell this group of people really wants to make your experience positive. Not that they were bad 2 years ago just average but this visit was beyond expectations. My doctor Arige Nohad was great with my children 12 and 16 and never made us feel rushed. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Sorry post is late. When I moved here several months ago. My glasses Len fell out as I was cleaning them. I located vidooneorke on the internet and they said to Come on in. The young man found a replacement screw and fixed and cleaned my glasses. I sat quietly and waited for him to prepare my bill, he had already thank me for coming in and wondered why I was still sitting because it was done free of charge. He not only restored my vision, he also showed me how a community is suppose to help one another, and that not all customer service experiences have to be bad. I have been going to this location for my check ups, contacts, and glasses prescription.Ive always had the same doctor, but its never the same experience. Some days I have a great experience, but others its terrible.Finally, I am switching because the doctor said I wanted to have my eyes dilated when I specifically declined the option. This place appears to value how much money they can get out of you more than your experience with them.

Just picked up my new glasses at VisionWorks Tannasborne. It was so easy and affordable. Went in on Monday and my new glasses were ready on Wednesday.
