Best espresso I’ve ever had! There was so much flavor that I didn’t expect when I took that first sip!

Been here twice so far and absolutely loved it each time. The pour over was definitely worth it. They make their chai in house and the honey lavender latte was amazing.They are super nice and helpful and will guide you to pick out some amazing coffee. Definitely support them ❤️

I’ve lived in south Austin for 15 years and this is my favorite coffee spot that’s opened been down here! The coffee is fantastic, the iced chai is out of this world. The staff if amazing and so nice. Seeing Cam is the best way to kick off your day! Do yourself a favor and stop by!

My wife and I were looking for a place to pass the time while we waited for our tour of Austin to start and we stumbled upon this place while we were walking around. I don’t usually write reviews but the service and the atmosphere were one of those things that really makes visiting a new city a unique experience. Whether you’re a visitor or a local, this is a must see. My wife and I will definitely be back.

I have been going to Lustre Pearl bar for a long time. And just now first time went to praxis coffee.It is amazing I had the famous honey lavender latte with oat milk and ……my God it is so good.Creamy delicious and amazing I will be going here every morning now.Thank you guys so much and it was a perfect temperature !!!!! they didn’t scald my oatmimk like people usually do , I’m very proud of them

This place has great coffee when the guy is working there. Unfortunately every time the woman is working, my lattes or cappuccinos have been awful. Today was especially gross cus that latte was practically steamed milk. Almost makes me think that the puck wasn’t thrown out and I got a re brew or it wasn’t dosed right. Sorry but the inconsistency is just bad. If it wasn’t for that, It’d be 5 stars

Every time I visit Praxis, I am left amazed by the quality of the coffee and the craft of the baristas! Very impressive every time, some of the most consistent coffee in austin. Definitely the best shot of espresso you’ll find for miles!

Best coffee in Austin. The attention to detail and artistry that goes into every cup is unmatched. All espresso in Austin is a C+ at best but Praxis is an A+ every time.

Next level chai. Love the fact that its made in house and not from a carton.Baristas are very knowledgeable and love their work!

The service is great and the coffee was excellent. They are located in the cutest little coffee truck on the side of a gas station off Manchaca in South Austin. I amdefinitely returning. Also they are right next to a taco truck called Mami’s and their tacos are excellent. There is a little seating area to enjoy your coffee and tacos. You’ll be parking in the gas station parking lot, and I parked right next to them so it was super easy access. All in all a gem of a find!

I live around the corner and wanted to find a nice quiet place to read my book and drink tea on a Sunday morning. Even though they were out of stock of Zhi tea they still had some good tea options. I loved the barrister who was energetic, and friendly. He made sure that I walked away with an option I was happy with. I am excited to come back as they have definitely gained a new regular.

Ive frequented most of the best coffee shops in Austin, but had not made it to Praxis until today. I ordered a pour-over from their Panamanian selection plus a honey lavender latte. I also requested a hot chocolate for my son, which Praxis kindly obliged even though it wasnt on the menu. All three drinks were outstanding! Ive enjoyed some sublime coffees from all over the world, from Austria to Australia, and I can say the pour-over was among the top 5% of black coffees Ive ever had. The service and accommodations were first-class and much appreciated. Ill certainly be going back to Praxis and recommending them to my coffee-loving friends. A perfect pick-me-up for today, my birthday!

This is my new favorite place. The coffee is AMAZING! It’s rare to find a local coffee shop who sources and roasts their own beans, not to mention how each drink is prepared with such care and expertise. I had the pour over and it was perfect.They even sell their coffee to other shops/restaurants around town. So glad they have a place I can stop by to get it from the source.Bonus: the neighboring taco truck is also very good. Hard to beat this combo.

So knowledgeable and consistent in bringing that good good ☕️ (both beans and brews) and also just really wonderful and caring human beings, which is equally important.Exhibit A: Our first Praxis Coffee experience was the day our son was born. We’d recently moved into the neighborhood and kept passing the truck and saying we needed to stop by and try it. That day, on his way back to the hospital I told my husband all I wanted was a gooood coffee and Praxis was on the way, so he stopped. He told them where he was headed, and they gave us our coffees for free as a congratulations. 😭 It was a happy introduction to our favorite local coffee spot, which we have now visited far more times than I care to admit.We just moved further south, and I’m not joking when I say the saddest part of our move is that it means Praxis isn’t a short drive away. We’ll still be making our appearances though! Thought it was time I finally write this long overdue review. Thanks Seth & Lauren, y’all are the best!

Great coffee and great atmosphere!

Quality drinks made with care, and with great tasting coffee beans. I have only had their drip coffee and Americano, as that is my preferred form of caffeine in the morning. I will let the other great reviews speak to all the other drink options, but I have no doubt that everything here is great. When drinking my Americano its amazing to be able to taste the specific notes of the espresso used that day. The Americano is also not watered down like they do in most other places. Its made with four shots of espresso and 12 ounces of water, which leads to excellent tasting espresso. Coffee beans are available to make at home. The just added breakfast tacos from an excellent trailer just in case you need a bite to eat with your drinks. Support GREAT local coffee here, cheers!

They are friendly and generous and make coffee drinks as well as they roast. You should go and visit. Buy a drink, buy some beans, and then get some tacos at the truck next door.

I thought I had a favorite coffee place but I found a new one, praxis coffee is incredible! There’s a total science to this roasting coffee thing and the quality of the beans make a huge difference. Praxis does it all 100%. The owner Seth is personable and cool and delivered my latte faster than anywhere else. Go check them out I assure you it will be your new favorite coffee spot!!

Im giving it 5 stars even though I was sad they dont offer 16 oz drinks. But I did have their latte and came back an hour later and ordered their drip coffee. I will definitely come back again. Summer moon has been my place for a while now, but I now have a new one to visit... Oh, and the two who worked there were very friendly and patient.
