Lucky Lab was a local coffee shop that I stopped with a small group of friends to get some studying done during a conference. I thoroughly enjoyed some of the pastries that they had available and decided to go with the chocolate/strawberry Pop Tart which was tasty but slightly dry to taste after being warmed. I also ordered just a regular iced coffee that was your average run of the mill coffee. As far as I can tell, it is a nice, quaint coffee shop downtown that has some good outdoor seating but not a lot available. Would definitely come back again.

Just had the worst cold brew ever…maple cinnamon oat cold brew was the menu item, described as being topped with a “splash” of oat milk. ordered it a quarter sweet since sweet coffee isn’t really my thing. got this drink that’s clearly at least equal parts oat milk and whatever they’re trying to pass off as cold brew. It just tasted like watery cinnamon flavored oat milk, like there wasn’t a single drop of coffee in the drink. whoever is making the cold brew there…please stop, for harm reduction purposes. I would honestly appreciate a refund for this. 2 stars because the pastry I got was good, and I’ve gotten good pastries there before but…will not be back for the tasteless watery “cold brew”

Kinda cute decor, good atmosphere, fair pricing, and lots of basic white girl drinks (not a bad thing).I ordered a double shot of espresso and it looked like this. That should say just about everything you need to know about the coffee.

Go there today!!! Today was One of the first hot humid days this year and our youg adult children wanted to walk around and shop on the Drag. But we saw the signs that led us to LUCKY LAB COFFEE and decided to try the iced coffee and lemonade and YES Please!! Super friendly and we love the coffee and lemonade. Hit the spot and more importantly, we are huge coffee drinkers and they gave us a sampling of their house coffee so we picked up a lb to brew at home. Comfortable seating, fans, iced coffee and a sincerely friendly staff. Stop here and try the coffee! You wont be disappointed!Iced Mocha and blueberry lavender tea and iced bees knees coffee and iced honey oat

Great coffee shop in the West Campus area. Its right around the corner from Starbucks, but the coffee is 10x better, and it is also cheaper. There is a tiny seating area in the actual coffee shop, but lots of outdoor seating as it is a part of Urban Outfitters space 24. So if its cold its not that awesome to sip coffee there. They have lots of seasonal drinks but they sometimes run out of stuff so things are off the menu. They also offer baked goods. On the bakery side of the shop, you can see the baker actually hand making all the treats. That way you know that theyre all hand made! The also have a punch card so you can have a free drink at the end of finishing 10 punches. You can also combined cards if you have many of them for the free drink. Theres no parking on site so youll have to pay to park.We ordered a mocha and a black drip. Both of them were so well made and the coffee doesnt have that bitter flavor that you wouldnt like. They offer almond milk too for those who prefer that (I do!).

Lucky Lab is a gem! The staff are super friendly and welcoming, you can tell that they care about their customers and want them to have a great experience. Their coffee is amazing too, they create their own custom drink menu and tailor it to the season which makes for an amazing cup of jo, weather its hot or cold outside. They also do punch cards so you get rewarded for coming there often (which I totally do) by giving you a free drink after you buy 10. Amazing coffee shop, with amazing pastries like their hot pies too!

For me this place has been hit or miss. They will serve day(s) old tacos at full price. Their pastries are good, but I think they sell old pastries at full price too. And recently the half-and-half has been sour and curdles in the coffee. Their milk bar is cute, but not very functional! My theory is that the milk sits in the lines at room temperature long enough to spoil, so you would need to clear the lines occasionally to get properly refrigerated milk. Also, do they ever clean the lines? Theres no shame in a washable, properly insulated pitcher! Maybe not as cute, but better for my morning cuppa-Joe that I relish and enjoy so much! This picture is from a time when there was just a little curdling. The time before this the color of the coffee didnt change at all, it just had chucks of white in it, which was alarming. They immediately gave me a new cup and fresh half-and-half.

Such a cute location and would have loved to had time to stop for longer and explore. I ordered 2 iced lattes and was served 2 iced cold brews with milk. When I questioned it, I was told that was standard procedure unless specified, although I even said it was my first time there when ordering. That felt super lazy and obviously the taste is very different. If I were local, I would give it another shot. Need to clarify these things on menu and be more specific.

My wife and I got married in Marble Falls TX this past May and wanted to give our out-of-town guests a taste of Austin. So, we hired Lucky Lab Coffee Truck to show up (as a surprise) at our venue during lunch the day after our wedding! Id recommend Lucky Lab Coffee Truck to enhance the experience for any event!

The coffee shop itself is cute and cozy and the staff is very friendly, but I was very disappointed with their cold brew coffee. I expected a strong coffee, but got a very watery. I definitely would recommend that pastry.

Staff was pleasant, good selection of baked goods, and they make a wide variety of coffee drinks. My vanilla latte was only okay, but at least not burnt tasting. I am pleased to say they also have flavors and different milks for you to choose from, which is not always the case in Austin. Space inside is extremely limited and difficult to maneuver in. They make up for this with a large, shared outdoor space with other surrounding businesses. This would be fine except that you still need to go inside to order, which is problematic. They do have a small window that faces the front of the building where I saw them serving coffee out of, but at the time of this review you still had to go inside to order.

Service is great and the people are awesome. The coffee was beyond disappointing. I was expecting a good brew but sadly it tasted like water with a hint of coffee. I observed one of the servers/ baristas pet a dog outside and play with it a little then continue working without at least putting some germ-X or gloves. The pop tart strawberry pastry is delicious. Definitely don’t see myself coming back here for anything except those pop Tart pastries.

Poor quality! Came by to check it out since I had a coupon say drinks on us. However still end up paying for it..... There was no options to make ice cold coffee so I end up getting a latte. One of the worst coffees Ive paid for. I watched the espresso gush out of the head, as a light coloured water - do they need to recalibrate their grind, or train staff to properly prepare a pour?
