Food? Delicious. Coffee? Excellent. Ambiance? Ruined by whoever picks the music. Overly loud, high-frequency microphone-feedback sound tracks. Painful to stand there and try to order. Cute little place, a real shame they don’t control that better. Bring headphones, but don’t bring a friend. You won’t be able to hear each other.

Good coffee and fun events. By good coffee I dont mean oh, its good like Starbucks, I mean they know how to pull shots with fresh beans, would be 5 stars if Austin did not provide so much awesome coffee options. Caught a comedy show here Tuesday night that I wish we could have stayed longer for.

Great little spot. Plenty of parking and shaded outdoor seating. We got the breakfast sandwich and breakfast tacos and they both were great. The breakfast tacos had extra thin potato strips that were so crispy and good. We also got an iced green tea and coffee, both very flavorful. We would definitely go back.

-Menus are not up to date online-If theyre understaffed they straight wont make items off their menu.-I paid $12.49 for the sorriest sandwich Ive ever seen. Like cafeteria food in schools are better than this. With onions. That I asked to not be on it. Which I feel would be easy to not put on as they only use 5 ingredients with no condiments in sight.-Not to mention you could tell the staff really didnt want to be there.Comedy show is the only good thing I experienced. Worst spot Ive been in inside Austin, had to happen eventually.

Sunday brunch! Eggs Benedict with or without meat- I chose veg version. My friend had shrimp and grits and really enjoyed it.Ive also gone there on a date just for tea and dessert. Totally worth it. Not cheap but not over priced. Quite a few smokers in the outdoor area but I barely noticed. I think there is a little something for everyone here.

Almost always good food and service. Sometimes the goings on make it difficult to park, meet or socialize with people. Today there was some sort of craft bizarre going on, as well as live music that was pretty loud. Two friends and I were trying to find a peaceful place to gather and it was difficult. I will say this is such a good neighborhood place and the owner takes great care of folks. Coffee is fair to good and the sol taco in a bowl is nice for those of us avoiding wheat. Thumbs up.

I love the ambiance. Though it was a bit hard to find seating considering it was a weekday at 3:30PM, I took a seat at the bar and took in my surroundings. Overall, its a great spot to come work on school work, there is a dog friendly patio, and a great selection of beer on draft. I felt a lack of friendliness from the staff, but it wasnt bad enough for.me.to.come back.

My first time here today, the coffee was great. I had an iced one and I really enjoyed it. I also got the chorizo taco which was very creative and filling, it was a large taco which also included fries and it’s only $4, a great thing to fill you up fast. Unfortunately, for me it was almost too greasy to enjoy but this could be down to just personal preference. The place has a cool vibe, definitely somewhere you’d be able to get some work done and the staff are super friendly and nice.

Im very disappointed with Cherrywood after my last visit. My friends and I love their loaded fries, but the last time I picked up 2 orders to go, they were covered in queso instead of Cheddar cheese. I dont like spicy food, so yesterday when I tried to order I wanted to make sure I didnt get queso again. The employee taking my order argued with me that the menu had changed, but the menu still says cheddar cheese. I doubt I will return.

I would come here and there, they have really good sandwiches! Coffee is good but just the vibe I get from the staff was always off. I try and order a sandwich and the girl is like it’s gonna take 50 minutes we only have one cook. It’s not even that busy to be honest. Why would you tell that, like you don’t want to take my order. I live nearby & absolutely love this place as my neighborhood hang. What a solid place! Management is top-notch! The staff are so friendly and accommodating. You can tell they love their job. One day I even saw the cashier run to the front door to help an older man with a walker, so sweet. The place is quite large. Even during covid, I feel pretty safe & spaced out inside. They also have a huge outdoor area. The coffee is good, food is reasonably priced & I REALLY appreciate still being able to order different sizes with lattes! So many coffee shops have gone to one size. I don’t know why that bothers me so much but I really do notice when places still offer size options. The vibe is also solid. Nothing pretentious about the patrons here! Very thankful to have Cherrywood in my rotation.

We only ever come for comedy night on Tuesdays (starts at 8pm but get there early to score a table because it fills up quick! We always try to get there by 7-730!) but always love it here! (We used to go every Tuesday!) Yummy food (100% recommend their loaded fries and Sunset Lane smoothie!) And while the comedians can be hit or miss, its always a good time! The waitstaff are super friendly and accommodating and their patio is HUGE and Dog-friendly. These pictures are from the ONE time I took @My_Girl_Sunday_ (the kittys insta handle) (she was not the biggest fan of the randomly dispersed and very loud applause 😅😹) to comedy night but doggo is always with me when we go!

Fav coffee house in Austin! Love their programming (especially the Sunday live music for kids), their food (love the build your own taco), and my fav is the espresso drinks and their house chai, the only place I’ve found in Austin where the chai is fresh brewed, not from a boxed premade mix that’s crazy sweet. The vibe is always friendly and relaxed, lots of choices for seating, fun place to people watch and get some work done.

Been meaning to try this place for a long time and finally did today! I ordered ahead via chow hound and they were ready and waiting when I arrived. I ordered an Oat Lavender Latte and a Cuban con Leche. Unfortunately, as soon as I pulled out I spilled the entire latte all over my car. After I got over the mess and actually tasting the last sip that was left in the cup (which was delicious), I decided to go back and order another one. Couldn’t have a huge mess to clean up and no coffee! I offered to pay, but they made me a new one for free. Huge appreciations and this latte made my day! 🙏
