Ordered a barstool online to be delivered to the store. Upon its arrival, store promptly notified me and I went to the store, was waited on immediately, and the sales clerk retrieved the stool and delivered it to my vehicle. Very efficient!!

Please be aware if you have a bridal registry with PB. My daughter had many items that were duplicates, missing packing slips and when you try to return something that was a duplicate without a packing slip in the original box not even opened they will have to mail you a merchandise credit. Really poor customer service, try Crate & Barrel for a better experience.

We ordered a bed and night stands, the bed arrived damaged and we were told by the delivery people they would report it. They never did so I had to reach out to customer service directly and now theyre giving me the run around. We also placed an order for two dressers and at no point in the ordering process did they tell us that the one item that wouldnt be there until weeks after the other one would. Now we wont have our furniture for another two weeks that were waiting on the one.

We recently purchased a vanity at the PB store, everything in the store went well during the order. But she was not clear that the marble backsplash piece does not actually come with the unit. After we received the vanity, we realized its is not included, so we went to the store to order it. Well, you cannot order it at the store and you cannot order it online. We had to call to place the order via phone. The item is $135 which is fine, but the shipping fee for this new order will be $149 (more than the item!). And we had already paid $249 in shipping fees for the initial vanity order. Just crazy. And if you call customer service, you get transferred 3-4 times every time. Frustrating.

Terrible customer service. No one helped me while shopping and no one even asked if I needed assistance. I found out when I got home that I was sold a damaged frame. When my husband tried to return it they could not fine my receipt (i was assured at checkout it would be saved with me key rewards and emailed (which they also failed to do)) and would not allow me to return it... as if selling me a damaged product was my fault. I will not be taking my business there again.

We purchased some sheets last month and have had a lot on our plate since then. Finally had some time and tried to return them a few days past the 30 day return deadline and were told we cannot. Tried simply exchanging for store credit, or another item, and were still denied even with the receipt. Called customer service and they told us the same thing. With COVID and everything else going on in the world you would think they could loosen up on their 30 day return/exchange policy. Most stores you can get store credit even if you don’t have a receipt or purchased the item almost a year ago. Won’t be shopping at pottery barn anymore.

This review is about PB in general. Ive purchased furniture, dinnerware, rugs, pillows, and lots of linens. Furniture can be dicey. Understand shipping or you may arrive home with upholstered dining chairs ($500 ea.) sitting in boxes on your front porch. Upholstered furniture is very nice but even after an 8 week wait for custom chairs one of the 2 chairs is not great. The padding on the arm rest of the chair does not cover the wood entirely so the fabric on the one arm is rubbing against wood. Not noticed until a few months in so check carefully. Although the company would probably replace it, the wait for a new one is ridiculous. Dinnerware is nice but if you break a dish chances are you may not be able to replace it because stock is limited. I was told that the bowl I needed was at a store 200 miles away but I had to pick it up at the store. Also, pay attention to assembly required, especially with dining chairs and tables.

Friendly enough staff. They had a sale going, but didnt have what I wanted in the store. I asked if they would order the items in for me and they said if they ordered them I couldnt get the sale price. Not a deal breaker, but disappointing.

I love PB my house is full of merchandise. Just be aware if you order something online and pick up in store actually call the store to make sure they have it. I ordered 3 baskets and when I arrived to pick them up they only had 2/3. Also they no longer allow store trades or transfers. Sadly I had to return my order and it was just a waste of time.

As soon as we walked I to Potterybarn we saw the festive ambience of Christmas decore galore. The crystal lit trees, ornaments and tableware was so inspiring. This book on the table by Diane Keaton is tremendous. Highly recommend this store.

This past September I decided to move to Austin, TX I called the Pottery Barn store several times to obtain the hiring managers information to email my resume and portfolio for review. I spoke to several employees who gave me the incorrect email address all during October. Each time I sent an email it bounced back I then called back and got the run around by the staff who the name was and email.I applied online as well of course - I just wanted to establish contact.Therefore, once I moved to Austin physically in November I stopped in the store and met Morgan who explained to me she is in charge of interviews at the location and gave her my business card.We set a date and time we both agreed on for the interview. I showed up to the interview on time and on the date we both discussed and she was not there. The store staff explained she was out sick and they expressed they were not informed by her about an interview that day so I left. Morgan never called me or email me that she was not going to make it.All during this process Morgan never had me fill out any forms, email me or call me.I called a few days later and spoke to Morgan and reset a new date for an interview.We conducted the interview and it went well.At the end of the interview, she said my hire date would be December 18th and I would be trained from 10 am to 5 pm that day.I called on December 17th to confirm with her directly over the phone that we are still on from 10 am to 5 pm.Later that evening I received notification my Father had died and I was asked to get a hold of family members and make funeral arrangements.As a result of this untimely death in the family, I arrived at the Pottery Barn store 15 minutes late at 10:15 am.I went inside the store and looked for Morgan I approached her and as I did without a chance to say hello or explained why I am late to her - she immediately said to me with a weird expression on her face, being late doesnt work for me I am not going to hire you now. Please leave the store. I replied,What? She replied, Please leave the store now.I gave her a look of shock. Turn around and left speechless.In my career of over 20 years, I have never ever been treated in such an inhuman way in my life.She made me feel like a thing, not a human being to partner with her in the stores success.Very Very unprofessional. I will never shop there or consider working there ever again.

Great store, the customer service was wonderful!My purchase was not the highest ticket, but it was on a registry, so it took a bit longer. Susan was so very helpful and had great suggestions for me! Pottery barn furniture is always great quality and design. The only negative is the high price. I would recommend waiting until the item you want is on sale. Its also worth checking out the Pottery Barn Outlet in San Marcos, where you can get a lot of the same items for lower prices.

Ive basically furnished my home from Pottery Barn. I love their furnishings and decore! Ive been to this location several times and I have always been treated kindly. The employees have always been available when I was ready for assistance,and theyve always been polite and personable. I love going into the store as the seasons are changing. I get so many ideas! Sometimes all it takes is a few new throw pillows! Whether I end up purchasing or not, I have always had a pleasant experience.

We bought a $3000 custom sofa. Product was defective. Pottery barn customer service will not repair or replace or refund custom items. Won’t be using pottery barn ever again. Their “commitment to quality” is just a statement on their website and in no way reflects their actual business policy.

Very good selection of the goods. It almost feels like a lot of cultures come together here when we browsed through the store. Good value for the money. I wish I had gone during weekdays, because during weekend the store was packed and had hard time getting help. Would certainly recommend it.

The employees are rude. I guess we entered the store dressed a little too casually which is funny considering Austin is a more laid back city. My fiance and I stopped in the store right before he was about to go to the gym so he was wearing gym clothes. You cant judge customers based on the way they are dressed. We decided to make our purchase online rather than give commission to the undeserving staff.

The staff completely ignored me both times I was there. I fully convinced this because I was in plain clothes so it looked like I didn’t have a look of money. My proof for this is that at one point I was standing beside a woman in a business suit while we were looking at the same display and they came up and talked to her and ignored me. I have now been to this store twice and ignored both times. I won’t be going back.

I’ve been shopping with Pottery Barn for years, the reason this is a two-star rather than one-star rating. While shopping for window treatments, I was passed over by multiple design team employees. Finally a team member came over and addressed another customer, they proceeded to build an order, and I waited patiently for over 10 minutes, during which time I was not acknowledged a single time, unless the team member moving around me counts as acknowledgement. I was happy to wait my turn but after almost 15 minutes of waiting, I decided to leave. Multiple employees passed by me without even a single ‘welcome’ or ‘we’ll be with you shortly’. Having worked in retail in college, this is NOT the treatment expected, especially when you’re planning to purchase almost $300 in drapes. I will not be visiting this location again. Unlike others who felt they were under dressed, I was not, but apparently being under 30 in Austin disqualifies you for quality service at Pottery Barn.

If you plan to order furniture from here, make sure to place separate orders. I was supposed to receive my furniture weeks ago, but since one item is backordered they will not ship anything until that one item is ready. I now have to wait 2-3 months to get any of my furniture. Ridiculous. Wish I had chosen Crate & Barrel instead.

If I could give no stars I would, do NOT make the mistake we did and order furniture from pottery barn. Every piece we ordered was months late and the last piece showed up with the wrong fabric. The replacement piece to match the rest of the sofa will take another 2 months, 6 months total. The supervisor was patronizing and the only thing she said she could do was apologize. Go anywhere else, trust me!
