I dont write many reviews, but this experience was special and deserves a 5-star review. These are weird times with COVID-related inventory issues and our purchase was certainly caught up in these issues. Ill spare you all the details; however, when we only received a partial shipment and the balance got delayed twice and was now to be expected in December of 2021, I kindly requested they pick up what they had delivered as I would find another option. I then received a call and email from the owner, Joe Chesnick, to apologize for the delay and to let me know he was working with his team to find a solution. Within a week, he was able to secure the remaining items and have them delivered. I had the opportunity to speak with him and he even followed up with an email after the furniture was delivered. It was evident that this was an owner who loved what he does and takes great pride in ensuring his customers are highly satisfied. The furniture is beautiful, the prices were reasonable, and while the experience wasnt perfect, I understood the current inventory constraints and was just floored by the lengths they went to in order to ensure we were ultimately happy.

We purchased a complete Master Bedroom furniture suite from “Mac” our sales design consultant in Austin. Professional, no pressure and extremely knowledgable. Pandemic Global Supply Constraints were challenging, but Joseph Chesnick, Chairman of the Houston/Austin/San Antonio franchises personally intervened. His staff was extremely focused on the customer experienced, with routine updates on delivery ETA’s. Joe was personally involved and corresponded with me directly on status updates. Not often you see this attention to detail and Care for the Customer. Our furniture arrived and exceeded all expectations. 5 Stars.

As we had just moved to Austin and had an empty living area, we chose Ethan Allen as had confidence in their quality. What we did not expect was the kind, spot on guidance of Kris Armen, one of their design team. The group of furniture and the arrangement of the room has created a warm, inviting space that we are thrilled to enjoy with family and friends. I would highly recommend her and trust her judgment implicitly !!

High quality items. Prices are high but not outrageous. Sales persona are low pressure, friendly and helpful.

Beutiful and very clean store, very good quality furniture and the staff was super helpful. Prices are on the high side but worth it. Everything is customizable and their interior designer can help with ideas or suggestions. Great experience just not our style. No very modern for our taste.

I have been an Ethan Allen customer for many years, love the products and that they are made in USA. This past year I went back for a refresher and needed help with interior design, worked with Kris A. She was amazing, she put furniture and fabrics together that I would have never thought they go together. Super happy with my new living room!

I purchased the classic tufted leather couch, a timeless piece. It is beautiful, comfortable and well constructed. I’ve purchased from Ethan Allen before, their customer service is excellent.

The rug delivered was soiled and did not look like the sample, the pad was not big enough. I wanted to return for a refund. But the saleslady delayed endlessly trying to show me other rugs, none of them coordinated and they keep trying to sell me another rug. They still have not picked up the undesirable rug which I keep folded back so that it is not walked on. Very annoying run around. Cannot get this rug out of my living room and resolve this problem. Also issues with their delivery men.

Kris Armen was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, creative, and she knows her product lines. Her sunny personality and ability to listen to what her clients want are big assets. Plus, she is very patient. I recommend her highly. Quincy

Still waiting on warranty work that has taken months. After sending the wrong item for the repair, I am wondering if it will ever get fixed. Definitely not the Ethan Allen experience you expect. The communication has been horrible as well. Buy furniture elsewhere.

Kris has worked with me on several projects. Her customer service has been outstanding, and she is always accessible. She has the ability to understand what the customer wants.I strongly recommend Kris.

Kris Armen at the Austin design center has been a pleasure to work with. Shes professional, knowledgeable, and was quick to understand our taste and style. Before meeting with her in person, I spoke to her on the phone to explain what we were looking for. We were on a very tight schedule, but Kris was very efficient in putting some beautiful pieces together to fit our schedule and budget. She has terrific design ideas!! She helped us choose everything from custom upholstered furniture to rugs and tables. Highly recommend!!

We had the most excellent visit with Kris Armen at your Austin store yesterday. Prior to our visit, she and Diana spoke on the phone at length regarding what we were looking for in the way of a sectional, fabrics, colors, etc. When we arrived yesterday, Kris had several samples of those items for us to review, and within minutes, both Diana and I agreed on the material and color we wanted for the sectional we ultimately purchased from her. It was probably the easiest, fastest, most comprehensive sales/buying experience we have had in our years of purchasing furniture. Lori Lander was my room designer for new furniture. She educated me about fabrics and design. I am very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend Lori and Ethan Allen. My order was delivered two months earlier than expected. We are thrilled.

My husband and I are building a home in GA. After visiting several furniture stores in Austin before I set foot in the Ethan Allen store. It was actually a relief to enter the serene, uncluttered, smartly curated collection there. Dottie Pfau was helpful, sensitive to our particular needs and not aggressive in trying to upsell me after I told her what appealed to me. I recommend Dottie and Ethan Allen to anyone seeking help in selecting beautiful, high-quality, rationally-priced furniture.

Working with Lori is a real pleasure! She is not only knowledgableabout all furnishings, accessories, fabrics, etc., but she has an innateability to put everything together to make a beautiful room. Just giveher your most difficult floorpan, and she can make it work!! She is areal professional in the design field!

Janet is probably the most knowledgeable and creative interior designer I have ever met. After a simple description of our room she had fourteen ideas for us to consider.....Amazing!

They are my go to for better quality furniture. Save money with their versions of furniture that they have set up for faster production times.

The sales staff here is unbelievable. I was working with one woman, and brought my husband by later that evening to see a sofa that I liked. By this time, she was gone, but another sales rep (a young blond woman, I wish I remembered her name) spent probably 20 minutes showing us fabrics and offering very clever design advice, even though she wanted the original sales rep to get the commission. Also, all the sales reps knew details about the leather choices and types of cushioning used in their sofas. I was amazed that the sofa I priced there was cheaper than Bassett with the same grade of leather. We purchased our bedroom set from Ethan Allen 10 years ago and with its classic style and excellent quality we plan on keeping it for years to come.

Checked out multiple furniture shops in Austin and Ethan Allen had the best service. I was greeted by Mak Makalinao and she took the time to understand the space I was furnishing, the styles I was attracted to, my style of living and the color scheme I liked. She spent the time looking through multiple catalogs of swatches to get the right fabric for me for multiple pieces of furniture and also visited the house with the swatches so I can see how all the furniture will look on my walls, flooring and lighting. It was a very positive experience and I will highly recommend EA and Mak.

This place has the WORST customer service. Very shocking for Ethan Allen. Thats because this is a franchise store and one of the corporate stores from what I was told. I am STILL waiting for my items. Ive been waiting for 2 months. Every time I call no one can give me an answer. I have had several dates that keep getting pushed. I can understand that for my custom sofas, however I can not understand that for my in stock items like a chandelier. The owner returned my call about a week later and offered zero resolution. I love EA furniture, however I will purposely not be purchasing from them again because its been so awful. The amount of time I have spent on the phone with them trying to figure out when my times (that should have been in already) will arrive is ridiculous. Who has time for that? In hind site I would not order from them. We purchased a new home and needed all new furniture. All of the other companies I purchased from have already delivered long ago when I ordered from EA first. Horrible is all I can say.

Wish I could give them 10 stars! Kris Armen was just wonderful to work with and everyone in the Austin store was very friendly they make buying furniture a fun experience. We found exactly what we were looking for in quality furniture, leather and fabric. We live in San Angelo Tx. and I had worked with Kris about a week through emails and phone calls before we went to Austin to make a final decision. Bought an Acadia sofa earlier this year. Coushins lose their shape and have notified the store. They replaced sofa and same exact problems with replacement occurred. paid 2k for the sofa. I just want my money back. Quality is just not there on this sofa.Update: Ethan Allen is returning the sofa and giving me a refund.

I will never purchase anything from Ethan Allen ever again. Purchased a Townsend Recliner and it was delivered last October. The chair has a gray leather and the leather on the head rest has turned white.When ask to have the head rest replaced they told me that it was due to my body oils that turned the leather. I have an an office leather chair and have had it for over 5 years and the leather on it is still the same color. This company does not stand behind its products. I spent several thousand dollars with them and I will never go back. Everyone they sell substandard products and then will not stand behind what they sell. This is like cheap vinyl not high price leather.

Terrible customer service. 1 1/2 hours late for appointment at my home and didnt bring the correct swatches. The manager decided they didnt want them leaving the store but didnt bother telling me.
