We loved it (for my daughter, who was there to test drive and gave the big thumbs up to get it) and so we went inside to seal the deal.Dwight was AMAZING to work with. So the buying experience was actually fine. No problems there. This is for a 2019 VW Jetta (CPO).However things have gone downhill rapidly.The very next day the check engine light came on. Literally within 24 hours.The car is actually for my daughter to drive around.I thought it might be an ill-fitting gas cap, but it wasn’t. She drove down and they tried to fix it.The very next day the light comes back on, so their fix was at best a poor attempt. They were trying to blame the gas cap, but it wasn’t.So the next week I was promised my daughter would get an Uber back since she’s 20 and I guess not old enough for a loaner car.She gets up super early to get the car down there and she is refused an Uber.I wrote an email to the Service Manager asking is this how you treat a customer and more importantly my daughter.No reply. Crickets.Absolutely horrible service with empty promises. I am beyond furious at their callous behavior and lack of customer support, not to mention they pretty much mailed-in the first attempt at fixing the car.So 3 weeks with this car, all of them bad.

This is the third time I have worked with Jack Dorn @ Auburn VW. When we needed to replace a malfunctioning car of a different brand we went to VW because we knew we could trust working with Jack. I test drove at a neighboring dealership to compare to the Atlas we ultimately chose and they did not follow through on their promises (I had asked for a follow up email). Jack was very patient with me and I was able to get all the financing done in addition to my purchase in a short period of time. I can always trust Jack to give me an honest opinion and to recommend a car/model that fits my needs.I have done some repairs over the last decade as well with Auburn VW and Rod in the service department is completely trustworthy. They have great communication and are very straight forward. Their loaners are very convenient and make getting repairs much more simple for a working mom.
