If there was a mark for 0 stars I’d definitely check that one. Received my couch at 4pm this afternoon and by 8pm there were roaches crawling out of and on the couch! Do not recommend this store!

Rented a fridge from here January 2021. When they set it down roaches started running out from under it. I had them take it away. I do not normally post negative reviews, it may be a one time thing. But figured it was worth sharing.

Fabulous customer service. I got a better deal on a new washer and dryer than I could get at any other appliance center and got 90 days same as cash. Go see Amy shes great and will make you a great deal on just about anything.

A good place to get cockroaches. They said they cleaned and sanitized the refrigerator that we rented and it was full of roaches. One star is being generous.

Online for ATHENS TN RENT-A-CENTER you can start an order for a generator for rent to own hence their name Rent-a-center but because they are a franchise when you speak with them they tell you that you cannot rent to own a generator that it is cash only. So maybe they should change that info on their website....I mean that is a little misleading. They are the only Rent-a-Center in our area with them in-stock but they refuse to honor what the website says for THAT store. Its not like I was asking them to honor a deal online from a DIFFERENT store, it was ATHENS, TN RENT-A-CENTER WEBSITE. I know this because it made me choose my location (store). All Im saying is I understand being a franchise you get to make up your ownrules and guidelines BUT if they are going to do that then the website should reflect that by stating CASH ONLY AT THE ATHENS LOCATION. I mean why would anyone in their right mind go pay 4 times the price at RENT-a-center when you can go to Lowes or Home Depot and get it for the regular price?!? I hope they get that straightened out so that they are not misleading potential future customers.

I called this store with several questions I had regarding their process and in detail what they had to offer. A very nice lady by the name of Amy came to the phone and patiently listened to my questions and concerns. She was very knowledgeable on every topic discussed and left me without any unanswered questions. I really appreciated that!!! Thanks! I would highly recommend this rent a center location to anyone!

Ray and Amy have always worked with us on getting the best deal we could. We have come up short at times and They did all they could to help us so we could keep our stuff. Ive rented from several rental companies and they are the best here in Athens.

Rent a Center is a good company to deal with. I would personally only deal with ray the store manager or William the account manager they are true honest and always respectful and willing to help. Thank you guys for good work

The manager and all the staff have been very helpful, friendly and professional. I would recommend this Rent A Center to anyone. I rented a washer and dryer and they went out of their way to find the cheaper models I was looking for. The staff could not have been more accommadating.

I had this nice young man named Charles who came out to my house and fixed my stereo system for my grandson. He was very respectful, and kind. If anything needs to be fixed Charles will be the one I will call. Thanks Rent-A-Center for having a wonderful employee sent to my home.

We went to Aarons to get an air conditioned. It was going to cost me double the price because they wouldnt do 90 days same as cash on that item. Athens RAC did me right with the air conditioner I got there. I got it at the same price with 6 months same as cash. Great people to work with.

This is a great place to go when you dont have anything esle and if what u did have got ruined. They work everything out with payments and if you cant afford it for a little while they will come pick it up and stop payment and hold it for you. Ive been with them for almost 3 years now wouldnt go anywhere esle. The staff are friendly and help you in any way they can possible! Just give them a call and they will help you with whatever you need
