I was very impressed with my visit to the Hearing Center of Asheville, NC. My doctor, Dr. Potter, was not only very professional but also very personal. He made me feel comfortable before and during my examination. The practice appeared very up-to-date, and the hearing tests more comprehensive than I had experienced before. The results were discussed immediately, and it was great to hear (no pun intended) that my hearing was that of an person my age with a good hearing system. No immediate action was recommended, except to do the test annually, which I right for my age. I can highly recommend both the Center, and especially Dr. Potter.

My 94 year old Dad had his first visit with Dr.Potter today! He was kind, knowledgable, professional,and wonderful with my Dad. The office staff was very efficient and friendly too. Dr. Potter was able to fix my Dads hearing aid! So thankful we found such a great practice to monitor his hearing !

My 5 year old Phonak Audeo B90 broke the wire between the hearing aid and the RIC. After calling first, I was invited to drop of the hearing aid for repair at my convenience that same afternoon. They replaced the RIC with a new one and cleaned the hearing aid on the spot for a nominal fee and returned it to me working better than it had before. The Hearing Aid Center is friendly, professional and blessed with a highly competent staff. I purchased these B90s from the Hearing Aid Center and I will purchase my next set from them when they no longer work for me.

Dr Hadden is very knowledgeable and took time to explain everything. I recently purchased a new cell phone and a tech helped me sync to the new device.

Very welcoming, safe environment. To keep everyone safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, the visits are carefully scheduled so that only one audiologist, one receptionist, and one patient are in the office at a time. You are not even sharing the waiting room. Everyone is masked. Everything is wiped down between customers. You are given a sanitizing packet to wipe down your photo ID and insurance card. Very thorough exam, results are carefully explained, and your best options presented with no pressure. Looking forward to my next visit when I will be fitted with my new ears, knowing that they will not be satisfied until I am satisfied.

When my wife and I recently moved to the Asheville area from Florida, I was in need of a new audiologist. After a false start or two, I was fortunate to find The Hearing Center of Asheville. It has been a great experience from making the appointment, to working with Dr. Potter. I think we really have a home with The Hearing Center that we will be pleased with. Upon arrival for my appointment, I was cordially greeted by friendly staff. Barbara always welcomes me with a smile and conversation about how I’m doing. When I suggested that my hearing had probably declined, she took a visual look at my hearing aids & said “it’s no wonder, I can see that the microphones are packed. I’ll take them apart for cleaning.” After putting them on, there was a noticeable difference for the better. She invited me to come in anytime for a check up whenever I feel my hearing is declining. I appreciate her expertise and dedication to details.

Friendly and patient receptionist??? The Hearing Center has her!!! Unfortunately, I do not remember her name but she was very kind on the phone and also in person. She is the first person you meet at the Hearing Center and she makes you feel welcome. We saw Dr. Potter and he was very professional, patient and attentive to my 89 year old father, who is the patient. Dr. Potter was able to clearly explain what steps we have to go through to get my dads heating problems straightened out. He was not at all hard selling new hearing aids. My father, actually has some hearing aids which he uses at the moment. Dr. Potter suggested that they try and adjust them before even thinking about new ones. We needed another consultation with Dr. Potter and we were able to set that up for the next day! Well done Hearing Center! Keep up the good work!

My experience today at The Hearing Center was excellent. Protocol for protection from the COVID virus was well established. The results from my hearing test was explained very clearly.

Dr. Hamilton was excellent and very thorough and patient and explained everything in understandable terms. Even though I showed signs of some hearing loss there was no pressure to purchase a hearing aid. I had another concern that he gladly agreed to look into and get back with me. It was a very good experience and i highly recommend them for hearing issues.

I recently somehow lost my left hearing aid and due to its age, the warranty had run out and that model was no longer being made. Dr Potter was so kind and was able to find a single companion hearing aid and sync the two together so that I was able to avoid the cost of replacing both hearing aids.He treated me very fairly on the price also which saved me a lot of money.

I had hearing aids at a place that was fairly inexpensive. They were very unsatisfactory and even though the insurance wouldnt cover another pair I decided to get better ones. D . Hamilton did a thorough test. He did did not push for the very expensive ones. It took some weeks of adjusting and they are great. The staff is wonderful and will get you in as soon as possible. The warranty is fantastic and they make sure you come in on a regular basis. Nothing but good things to say.Back again, my right hearing aid stopped working and they got me in that afternoon. Broke my hearing aid. My fault, they are overnighted it to the lab and they say it will be back in 7 days. Ill let you know how long it really takes.

My husband and I were extremely pleased with our experience at The Hearing Center of Asheville yesterday. The staff is friendly, and our check-in process was rapid, and we were called back after waiting only a few minutes. Xavier Potter, our audiologist, was very thorough in preliminary questioning and evaluating our hearing. He gave us detailed explanations of his findings and recommendations for both of us. I am impressed with his honesty in explaining the different types of devices available.

These people are so nice and so professional. I purchased my hearing aids from them 2 years ago, and have been so impressed with their follow-through after the sale! I went in for my check-up this week and they cleaned my hearing aids, replaced the maintenance parts, and even pulled a rather large piece of wax from my right ear!

Very impressed with this office! They have a lab on site so they can repair your hearing aids while you wait!. They offer walk in service every day !! While at the office I signed up to transfer my records from my previous doctor. Very satisfied!!

The folks here are simply the best! Tremendous attention to details and the patients needs and the skill and technology to address problems large and small. I came in not hearing well after a recent hearing change and after testing and adjustments to my hearing aids, I left being able to hear better than I have in many months.

When I called to make an appointment, they said they could fit me in that same afternoon. I was emailed the new patient forms to fill out before I came in. At the appointment time, I turned in my forms and waited less than 5 minutes. Everyone was very friendly and efficient.

The staff are so friendly and made the process super easy.I had moderate hearing loss in one ear that started after an ear infection, and was having difficulty hearing conversations and talking on the phone. I had a hearing test and MRI done elsewhere and decided to go to THC for the hearing aid. Dr. Potter set me up with an entry level Phonak Audeo B30-10 hearing aid and programmed it for speech. It did the trick for me - the default volume setting is usually optimum. The hearing aid is comfortable and easy to use. Unless I point it out, no one even knows Im wearing it.

Staff are very professional and caring. Dr Potter is very thorough, really takes the time to listen and shows he cares. My experience with The Hearing Center Of Ashville is always magnificent. The entire team is amazing.

Wow, is all I can say, they are great, I can hear again. They are very friendly and kind, and very professional. I am a volunteer fireman in my County, and before I got my hearing aid, I usually would not go out on search calls, but one week after I got my hearing aid we got called out for an elderly couple husband and wife lost in the woods, so I decided to go, and with great success I actually heard them yelling for us as we called out for them, and for a fireman being able to help someone in a time of need is very humbling to the heart, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me a chance to hear again.

This Hearing Center repaired my hearing aid while I was traveling and visiting the Biltmore House in Ashville for a day. My receiver in canal (RIC) broke. The wire detached from the RIC. The Hearing Center was nearby, so I stopped there and they had it repaired and I was on my way in less than 10 minutes. They used the serial number to confirm my warranty coverage, and didnt charge me anything or even require me to complete any paperwork. I am still amazed that I could get service this good and fast, a real tribute to the Hearing Center and Phonak.

I have reviewed the Hearing Center of Asheville before but I cannot recommend them too highly. Always professional and fast. Had a hearing test during the COVID pandemic. Safety measures in place. Masks on the staff, and I was required to wear one (which I support). Hearing test, aids cleaned and updated, new supplies in hand all in less than 30 minutes!

Dr. Hadden is a professional and is kind and understanding. She answered all my questions and made adjustments and programming changes in a short visit. She is very focused on doing the best for her patients.

Very pleasant; nice to receive a supply of batteries. Pity they turned out to be the wrong size and I had to go back to change them later in the day. OK I should have checked . . .
