Purchased a pair of snowshoes for a very competitive price compared to REI, ended up returning them for a refund and was given a full refund with no questions asked. People at the front counter are very friendly and helpful.

I took my sister who works at the Sportsmans in Juneau she was quite inspired by their displays. I love to just window shop there. Great inspiration comes from just looking around at everything.

Yes, they have all the hunting and fishing gear you can think off. The only problem is what happens if it is defective. I took one of their combo 6.5 Creedmoor Savage with scope to the range to sight it in. After 10 rounds were fired one of the scope mount bolts sheared off. It appeared to me it was over torqued. Thats not the issue. The issue is I took it back to see what they could do. At the gun counter I was told I can buy new scope rings to fix it. I asked if they could discount it or replace the mounts. I was told I needed to write to Savage. Since the gun was defective I should have just returned it to them. The problem was I was headed out for a hunt and I didnt have enough time to sight the new rifle. I felt they didnt even try to make anything right. I bought the $40 scope rings and finished sighting at Potters Marsh. See photos. By the way. The second scope ring failed while I was at the counter with the sales person.

Good store for a variety of things. I enjoy shopping here as the prices are competitive and the selection is wide. I have even stopped in the store with some kids to kill some time and I had a great time with the animals on display and the wide variety of interesting items. Sportsmans warehouse is also a good place to pick up gifts if you run out of ideas.

Im an urban city girl and didnt know if I should laugh or cry walking through the store. At the front they have a board with pictures of hunters kills. It smelled like licorice that was actually bear bait. Lots and lots of guns, knives and camo. Im sure its a hunters Paradise, but for me it was pure entertainment

So i bought Simm wader on Sunday 07/18/21 and only wore one on Tuesday 07/20/21, i found some damage on the wader’s sock and the chest belt was twisted , brought it back right away today and talked to the clothing manager she said my wading boot cause it even i only wore one, then told me my wader kinda wet anyway they tried to not take the product back and not want to deal with Simm manufacture she even told me go register my simm and call them to fix it!!!!! Be careful they even try to resale it to someone else!!!!

Really like this store. Great customer service: I was looking for leg gaiters and called on phone. When I called, the shoe guy went to check that they had them. They did; and when I got there he took me to the area. They had choices in several price ranges. Fabulous. I also liked the Bulletin Board with all the fishing holes, what type of fish, and whether they were open. Well be back. SW is really more of a 4.5 than a 4.0.

Really glad to find these folks. When Bass Pro and Cabela’s don’t have what I’m looking for in stock (as usual, unfortunately) I can usually find what I need or want here at Sportsman’s Warehouse, funny how that works, Lol.

Mitch, in the fishing section was the most helpful person i have ever interacted with at any sportmans accross the country. He guided me towads what flies have been working for him as well as techniques to fish them, and actually knew what he was talking about. I really appreciate being able to go to a big box store and still recieve service like a mom and pop fly shop.

The Sportsman’s warehouse in Soldotna,AK is very clean and all the employees was so nice and helpful and Matt the hunting manager was super helpful and nice

The young man who helped us in foot wear als hrlped us with cooktop stoves and was wonderful.

Guys at the gun counter very knowledgeable. But management not helpful at all. Tried to exchange a pair of crispi boots for a shorter pair instead of the 11” boot I wanted the 9” boot for less weight. I did put obenauf’s boot conditioning on them they looks new, I used twice on the treadmill. Was met with hostility when I asked to trade them in and was told no, asked if I could return them and they said no it’s past 30 days. Won’t be shopping here anymore.

Ridiculously Bad. I order online. Receive confirmation that item is in stock. Go to store, item isnt there. Two employees tell me their inventory system is badly inaccurate & cannot be trusted. They cant tell me when the item will show up. I ask for a refund, they tell me they cant do that in store. Ill shop elsewhere from now on.

Im a novice when it comes to firearms and went to the gun counter and Tom was very kind, professional, and patient and helped me feel very comfortable about getting what I needed. I have been to other big name Sporting Good franchises were the Firearms salesman was condescending and arrogant in front of my daughter due to my lack of knowledge about firearms. Sportsmans Warehouse has a customer for life.

Sportsmans is competitively priced and they still give fire/law/military discounts.They have great selection of most of the camping, fishing, hunting and outdoor gear your seeking. Hard to find ammo is often found on their shelves when other places are out. Its a rather nice place to spend an afternoon browsing about gathering ideas for your next outdoor adventure.

Outstanding customer service if you’re in the need of looking for something a sporting goods stop right now you came to the right place. All the customer service agents have great knowledge of all different types of sporting equipment and accessories and clothing including knives guns bowls anything for hunting and camping. Again the hospitality is wonderful and they support the US military.I highly recommend the store to anyone who needs sporting equipment etc.

Great prices on ammo. A good survival caliber is 22. Its cheap, and I know from personal experience that you can kill a bull moose at 75-100 yards with the 22. Sportsman had kegs of 22 ammo on sale for around 70 bucks.

I like Sportsmans Warehouse. That being said, I wish their website would accurately track items that show In Stock at the local store. Instead, I call, and waste a lot of time waiting for an employee to physically check if an item is available, only to find out the employee cant find it anywhere.

Jake at gun counter was very helpful and even torqued the thread protector on my side arm for free!Very helpful staff and extremely good customer service.I have been to a lot of outdoor sports stores in anchorage but none that have staff that will help you for free. Also helped me learn how to shop my gun back to manufacture for free

Awesome store, although their some of their apparels are but expensive compare to the other store, but their guns??? They have it all kinds and cheaper compare to other stores. Right now, some of the gums that I want to purchase are temporarily sold out. Maybe due to election time...

After thousands of dollars spent over the years as a family of 5, I can’t take the horrible customer service and disrespect from the (manager Pam) and her associates anymore. Miss marked merchandise that’s always a surprise when checking out followed by attitude from the management in regards to us questioning the price at checkout. We’ll gladly take our business elsewhere in town!

The staff was very friendly and and attempted to be helpful, however I didnt feel like the staff was quite as knowledgeable on certain items as maybe they should have been. I had a tough time finding what I needed and getting my clarifying questions answered by the staff regarding certain potential purchases.

Last customer of the day but they didnt make me feel rushed. Check out the board by the entrance to see where the fishing action is. They had the gun cleaning kits I needed on sale. Friendly employees.

Bass pro competition good deals watch your mailbox. Not as extensive selection as the Bass. But they were here first great location. Fushing reported for all species as you enter. Peace only reasin for 4 usually only one or two checkout lanes with employees standing around during sometimes. Been a minute since Ive visited the store might have improved during busy times all checkouts open. Peace

The firearms counter is a COVID-19 super spreader event...no masks, no social distancing...I was going to buy a Winchester model 70 in .338 but walked out.30% of our Alaskas total COVID-19 since March, have occurred in the last 15 days We may not have adult ICU beds if the number of hospital cases keeps rising.Fairbanks only has 3 of 13 ICU beds available.Anchorage only has 15 of 91 ICU beds available.

My friends and I went here to buy fishing licenses and the clerk was really helpful. It took 10 minutes to draw up licenses.We shopped for neoprene gloves and they were 30 - 40 dollars. They didnt have any goretex socks.

With a policy of price matching you really cant go wrong. They are competing with two other big chain stores in town. The employees are friendly and the store has great products.

Noel was great in the compound bow dept. Entire store has everything well priced. Clerks were nice with great senses of humor. Strongly recommend.

Decent store of outdoor goods. Sale prices can be good everyday places maybe not so much. Used to be the place to go before Cabelas and Bass Pro Shop showed up. Now I prefer to go to the smaller local shops when I can but these guys do have a wide selection and I can often find it here when I cant find it there.

Good place to go for all your hunting, camping, and fishing needs. Though everytime I have went there to find defensive 10mm ammo they dont have anything. Still a great store.

Pretty much all the regular stuff you’d expect a sporting goods store to have . Pricing seems good. You have to search to find someone to help. Checkout was quick.
