The niche ledge and corner shelves are definitely not “standard. “ The craftsmanship in Alaska Countertops is evident. Was not expecting the artistry of the corner shelves. The color variation in my stone blends beautifully with my contractors tile work and flooring. So Appreciative for the input, patience, and friendliness of everyone. They messed up on the sink measurements. Email was sent to confirm the order but no attachment, just showed the price. We might have caught the mistake. First time ordering countertops so did not think anything of it. They asked why did we confirm the order after the email if the measurements where wrong. Tried to blame us. Realized it was their fault. When we went to pick up the new one they were very unpleasant to us. We were very light-hearted to them and realize that mistakes do happen. Undeserved attitude. Replacement was made quickly but thats expected when fixing a mistake.

Looks very clean, and has good equipments but high prices.

The person who estimated our rather simple job made a pretty big error, but, I must say, the owners came through and made things right. The installers were awesome - polite, professional, and experienced. The finished product looks great!Just a side note: when you compare qoutes, note that Alaska Countertops doesnt do any plumbing. This came as a surprise to us (as it wasnt mentioned during estimation) and had an impact of which contractor we chose for the job (before learning about plumbing). My husband had to disconnect the old sink himself and we scrambled to find someone, on a very short notice, to reconnect the plumbing.

I had a small problem with a part ordered and they corrected it ,no questions asked, to a piece that was much better and stronger than the original design. They have good service and good ideas. I will use them again in the future.

After a bit of a kerfuffle (mix up on materials) everything got corrected and we have 2 great new bathroom countertops. Excellent workmanship and customer relations.

Received a reasonable $1500 initial quote for an average size rental kitchen countertop from Vittoria, so I put 50% down for the job thinking they were honest and would get the job done in that price range. I was sadly mistaken when they came back with an outrageous final estimate of over $2500. Then when I disputed the $75 measuring charge with the credit card company a representative from AK Countertops whom I had never dealt with had the audacity to make several false claims in a letter defending their charges to the credit card company. I have never dealt with as dishonest an Alaskan (or any) company as this and definitely wont use them again. Its too bad I have to give them one star.

From the first phone call to final install Alaska Countertops and staff were professional, courteous, helpful, on time with delivery and worked with expert precision. We are extremely satisfied with their customer service and would highly recommend them.

Worst customer service I have ever received in Alaska. Called for a quote on a 3ft by 4ft counter top and received a outlandish quote. When I questioned the quote they hung up on me. I great service.

Countertops is a huge deal. This stuff costs a damn fortune and there isnt really much as far as turning back. After my wife shopped every option in the Valley we talked to these guys.As far as the sales process it was easy. I changed our countertops because we had custom concrete and they were old and ugly and hard to refinish. My wife wanted a new farmhouse sink so we were on the market. Meeting with the owner at the store he showed us some stone options.We went home and did some research and compared some samples and had tons of questions that they fielded really quick via email. We chose a stone, got a price immediately (like 15 minutes, every other shop took anywhere from a few days to over a week).Now the install, left them at my house to let themselves in and out with confidence (good people you can tell). So $6k (they have cheaper options) later you walk in to your kitchen and what can you expect leaving it to be installed unsupervised... well our custome countertops we had done with concrete... yeah..... they looked like garbage and I had no idea... ha. These guys changed our whole kitchen entry way with a new natural stone.They will be doing our bathrooms within the next year. Awesome service and end product.Good work isnt cheap and cheap work isnt good but this was GREAT work and a fair price!

While the end result is beautiful, I did not have, as the TV commercial says, a worry free experience. In fact it was very frustrating. I believe it was partly because of my ignorance in not knowing all the aspects to replacing a counter-top and partly because of poor customer service. However Ron and Zac did a great job installing the countertop.
