This is not a Shipleys. Please change name on Google. Was very annoyed to have gotten here and greeted with a different place.

It might be nice to at least have one doughnut in the morning when you open or don’t call your doughnut shop a doughnut shop instead call it a breakfast to go store

This is called Friendly Donut, not Shipleys, and the kolaches are so much better.

Love Shipleys! They are the only place with decent cinnamon rolls in Alvin and hands down the best glazed donuts ever. The staff is great too.

Completely frowning staff the entire building seems like they were so sad to be working! Even the guests that were sitting at the tables chit-chatting seemed so very unhappy. What happened to smiling at people? So what youre having a bad day share a smile spread the happiness.

These donuts are good if its convenient.. after i found Dees Best Donuts in Alvin off Hwy 6 I almost never come here anymore unless its SUPER convenient.

Shanton is awesome. She knows the regulars orders without asking. She is very friendly and upbeat and great with the new people and the regulars.

Was told to make it a point to try Shipleys while Im in town on vacation. They didnt disappoint! Taking some back to Indiana.

The same people have been running it for years. They know us and are always friendly. Donuts and Kolaches are very good. Prices are normal for a donut shop.

Wanted to edit my post on this as the place has changed hands and Shipleys shut their location down here. Some of the same people that had worked here now own it and Chanthan manages it. They have brought back a tremendous selection. And many of the items tastes significantly better than the past owner recipes. Havent had anything todays date that I havent enjoyed. Ive even made a significant effort to the go there more often. Enjoy friendshipping with other customers as well as so many are happy to talk. Really like it. They now call it Friendly DoughnutsVery friendly. Really appreciate Chanthan as she is so friendly and is so welcoming. Enjoy a special treat with the donuts. Miss the sausage egg biscuits they used to have8/29/21 another update long overdue. Chanthan worked for the Shipley owners as the transitioned and she has moved to the highway 6 store. The new owners are the Nous (pronounced New). They are really awesome! They have brought back a large selection including my favorite sausage egg cheese biscuit! They even will make my wifes favorite Bullseye when she asks. Really enjoy visiting with them when we go. We had them do some pink Doughnuts holes for my daughters baby shower and they decorated a bunch more for free and gave them to us. They were like in a magazine! So impressed!
