They were amazing. Got my car in checked it out and had it fixed all in a matter of a few days and thats ordering parts and installing them. My brakes were so bad and now its running like a new car. Give these guys a chance you wont regret it.

Just had my wifes transmission rebuilt here about a month ago. The price was very good for good quality work and a warranty. I thought I was having an issue with it again, so I brought it by. The owner himself drove it and reassured me it was not the transmission and even offered some thoughts that lead me to fix the issue myself. I highly recommend this shop. Very nice people. Outstanding service on my Hybrid SUV transmission. I had gotten an exorbitant quote from my dealer for transmission replacement & repair. I decided to get a second opinion from Snider Transmission and Im glad I did. My car was evaluated & I was given a options for rebuilding the transmission and replacement. I appreciated the valuations, as while transmission work is expensive, Sniders quotes were way less than the dealer. My vehicle was serviced and I was given timely updates on the progress of the work. I had a minor problem with a check engine light after I picked up the vehicle and Sniders went out of their way to fix a broken sensor. I really appreciated the personal attention, as the owner made me feel valued as a customer and took interest in making sure my older vehicle was running smoothly from the transmission to other points of care on the SUV. Drove in from Dallas for a cruise and stayed with family in Alvin the night before setting sail. Transmission gave out at 288 and 6, called my cousin for a recommendation and hes told us to call Snider. Naturally this was wore case situation for us but Snider went above and beyond to assure we were taken care of! They even went as far as picking us up in our vehicle from the cruise terminal! Honestly, the best spot to take your car to. On Christmas morning, my car busted a leak somewhere. I thought it was transmission fluid but wasn’t sure. And, as I’m not mechanically inclined, I decided to take it to the pros. I had it towed in the day after Christmas and the fine folks at Snider Transmission had it fixed the same day. Turns our it was a coolant issue and had nothing to do with the transmission, but the guys knew exactly what needed to be done. From start to finish the entire process was effortless. Happy to find an honest family business left in this crazy world. I took my F-150 into the Alvin location and they were able to get back with me quickly with the problem. The mechanic explained to me what needed to be done, Im car illiterate but it was conveyed well. I was thrilled how fast they were able to get me back on the road. I thought it would take a while, especially considering how busy they were. Overall I give their shop an A+

Really impressed with Snider Transmission in Alvin! I take my car in for oil changes and inspections and they are always quick. Everyone there is working hard to get the vehicles in and out. My fiance takes his car there as well and got his brakes replaced a year ago. They did a great job and even went above and beyond lubing something that was making a noise. I dont know anything about cars, I just know that he was really happy about it. Its a family business and the owner is very honest and professional. I highly recommend this place!

I had my car inpection there and they broke the dash bord in car and the owner he didnt even said we appoloyazed for what we did to you car. Just for you to know but I guess becouse im mexican thtats okay God Will bless him anyway.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC!! Complete nightmare! At the Alvin location I basically paid them $800 to tear my car to pieces and not get any closer to fixing it. They obviously didnt have any clue what was going on. I couldve done the work myself but do not have a lift.I drove it there and had to tow it to another shop in pieces costing more money. After looking at what they had done I saw they took apart so many random things completely unrelated to my straight forward job which cost hundreds to repair.Even after they diagnosed my transmission they still didnt know the simple things they were looking at. They answered my questions with false information about my transmission as I later saw it was a FACT they were wrong. Ridiculous!Then they quoted me $2-3,000 in labor alone because THEY DIDNT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DEALING WITH ...this was after they tore it to pieces too.I called around and got the job finished at the DEALER for $400 plus $200 in unrelated repairs solely caused by Snider.NEVER GO THERE!

I was referred here from another local shop. Happy with the service.

This was not an easy one. I had just bought a car and within 4 days found out that the transmission had problems. Patrick took it evaluated it and gave me the news that it was going to have to be replaced. They worked with me to get the transmission replaced and then when a sensor quit working right afterwards they took it back and replace that as well. A little later I had a leak in the transfer case which was not really part of their job but with a minimal charge he also got that fixed for me. Patrick definitely kept up their reputation and did a good job so that Ive got a car I can count on.

Spent over $2k and they didnt even fix the problem the first time. Not to mention they didnt balance my tires, so my steering was jacked! Had to take it back 2 weeks later for them to fix it correctly. Thank god for the warranty. Second time around they finally fix d the transmission, but again. They sent me on my way with out balancing my tires. Steering jacked again. Had to spend another $150 just to have my steering back to normal. Lesson learned!!
