We have had wonderful experiences with Genesis and we highly recommend them for any of your automotive needs...they have demonstrated an broad knowledge of automotive issues and we have had a number of our vehicles worked on by them. They are pleasant to deal with, timely in completing repairs, and very reasonably priced. Trust them.

I want to say how fantastic Genesis auto repair was today. I called them about a leak from my oil pan that I was concerned about and I said bring it in and will take a quick look. They did not charge me they did say that the plug was not fitting right in that I should go to Ford to get an exact. They did not charge me to look at the oil pan and plug. I went to get the plug from Ford returned and they told me that it was not correct that it did not fit tight. When I called Ford they gave me the wrong plug. Genesis put it all on my truck I went to get the correct plug came back and they took care of it. Genesis did not have to but they only charged me for one oil change, and that speaks volume on their customer service. If I need any work done on my truck trust me I’m going back to Genesis and I recommend you think about using them as well.

Twice I have visited this establishment for my vehicle inspections and they are superb with the speed of their service. Both times the same gentleman helped me and he was energetic and enthusiastic to help me. This time around he told me my vehicle would be ready within 15 minutes and he kept his word.

My car was shaking every time I would stop and then take off the dash board would rattle. I took my car to Honda of clear lake 3times and they said they couldnt fix it bc the car wasnt shaking. Finally took it to Genesis and problem solved!! the guys there are very professional they actually try to help you they are very honest will definitely recommend and will be taking my car there from now on. They are extremely busy but thats a good sign of good business!

*UPDATE* 7/2021Brought my vehicle in twice for them to give me a repair list. I knew it needed several things done and wanted to get started right away on the most important items first. Did not leave with an estimate either time with Mike saying he had to finish it up and would call me. Still waiting weeks later!!! I believe they can be a good shop and Mike seems to know his stuff but they need more good, dependable people, much better follow through and customer service. Feeling very let down.Mike is amazing at customer service and automotive knowledge. My car has a new doctor! Much thanks!!!

For starters, Mike is the best mechanic Ive ever found to work on all my cars. Hes experienced, knowledgeable, respectful, honest, and flexible with the needs of me and Im sure with all of his customers. Ive had simple car troubles to serious issues that not only required physical labor, but even taking care of dealing with warranty procedures and insurance claims. I gave this place a shot based on the reviews online. Oh my I couldnt be happier that I did!!!! My boyfriend called in advance to ask about prices and availability because I needed an oil change. It can be scary trying new places specially as a woman, I recently moved to Alvin, and I already found my new go to place. What a nice experience I had today! The staff was friendly, they did the oil change and it didnt take long like some other places Ive gone to. They were quick, professional and the price was reasonable.. I will be back for sure!!! I already recommended it to family members and friends. So why not recommend it to the public???!! It has amazing ratings/ reviews for a reason and I was very happy my oil change went smoothly. Try this place out!!! You wont be disappointed. The waiting area is nice, has a TV and A/C. No bad smells like majority of other places where you sit on a rustic dirty chair. My mother called earlier in the week to make sure that Genesis could do a brake pad change on our 2015 Fiat, and Mike had told her that if we brought it in no later than 9 on Saturday then it would be done the SAME day. On Sat I showed up to drop off the car and they apparently dont have the parts, even though Mike told my mother that they would be able to change them that day after having confirmed the make/model in that phonecall.Its a Fiat so I know that they have to order the parts from the dealers/makers, which is why my mother called in advance to make sure they could do the brake replacement for the Fiat, but apparently what they claim over the phone is different from their actual in person costumer service.My family and I will NOT be using Genesis anymore for our car services and will look elsewhere in the future.

I normally dont write reviews, but I have to give these guys a 5 star review. If I can give them a 10 they would surely get it. The manager Mike is one of the best in the business!!!!!!!!!! I took my Mercedes E63 to a few shops here in Alvin and they couldnt find out why my A/C wasnt working.Well I pulled into Genesis Auto and was greeted by Mike. I explained my issues to him and he immediately knew what my issue was when I explained it to him. I was like, Stop Playing!, he was like , leave it with me for a few hours and I will have you cold in no time. Music to my ears!!!!! I was a little skeptical because know one else could figure it out, but Mike built that confidence.Got the call from Mike at 4:17pm and he told me my vehicle was ready. Once I arrived, chatted with Mike for a bit, I walked to my car which they hand washed for me free of charge. Started my vehicle and the inside of my car was so cold I had to put it on 75. These guys really know their stuff and thanks to Mike which he told me it was my blower motor resister that was faulty, that along told me that Mike was a truly skilled Mechanic. I trust these guys to the fullest and will recommend this place to all friends and family!!!!!. Thanks Mike !!!!! and Thank You to the owner for hiring such a great Mechanic. Mike at Genesis Auto is absolutely AMAZING!!! Was having trouble figuring out what was causing my truck to lose power (2 days fighting with it). Mike told me to bring it in so he could look at it. Less than 10 minutes!!!!!! He had it figured out and resolved my issue!!! Now my truck is back to normal and I am one happy woman. Thank you Mike for your help! Very friendly and professional! I took my expedition in for a oil change and they noticed I need repairs on my brakes. They took the time to show me and explained why the brakes needed repairs. They were not pushy about getting the work done, he just wanted me to be aware of the problem. I would recommend them to anyone that wants to have a positive experience.

Was happy to find this place! My husband was having issues w his truck and I called around to a couple places. After speaking to the guy on the phone at Genesis I knew I wanted to take the truck there. He was very polite and friendly and I just had a good feeling about it. When I called back to check on the truck the same guy I spoke to before explained everything to me so I knew what the issues were. The total price wasnt bad either so that was a plus. I’ve lived in Alvin for the better part of 20 years. Typically I go outside of Alvin to have my vehicles worked on. Ever since Mike and some of the new staff came in a while back. I literally will not take my cars anywhere. I’ve never seen Mike in a bad mood, the guy literally goes out of his way to get anything done for you, in a timely manner. The guys there are exceptional. Service is beyond great. I actually enjoy going there as compared to going other places and have to wait on my vehicle.Quite sometime ago years and years actually. I had a bad experience over there but it wasn’t with the owner now or the staff now. They have turned it around full circle and congratulations to all of them.

I like bringing my car here b/c I know they will take care of the problem and wont overcharge me. The manager Mike is always very courteous.

I HIGHLY recommend this repair shop for you car problems. Called and he said bring the car in and we will run diagnostic. He did which usually is 85.00. He did not charge me and told me #4 ignition coil was bad. Changed out coil and my car runs like new. Dont believe the codes for auto 0arts store because I bought parts that my car did not need. I will be taking my car to Mike from this day foward.

I stopped in for an oil change, the man who waited on me came out right away. He was very nice and worked on it promptly. My van wasnt as clean as it should have been, he was very kind about it when I brought the subject up.Going into their office, Mike, the manager, was waiting on a customer. I was able to tell from listening to Mike discussing matters with his customer, that Mike knew his business. That gave me confidence for this was my first visit to Genesis.A couple weeks later, my van was running hot, so of course, I went to Genesis. They did a great job, solved the problem! Their prices are reasonable, theyre honest, and its a great feeling knowing of a good place I can take my vehicle to. I would recommend them full heartedly, and I dont recommend places lightly. I originally went to this shop to get a state inspection but was informed my vehicle would not pass. I let them make the repairs to my vehicle and they were very professional and friendly. They made sure that my vehicle was right and road worthy for me. I appreciated how quick they were able to get my car ready. I had some issues with the car after picking it up but it was no fault of their own. The car I had was just really needing some work. I took my car back when I needed some more work done and they helped me out and got the car right for me. I will definitely use them for my auto repairs in the future.

Asked the Manager if they can pump transmission fluid into my car, because it had to be installed from the bottom, and needed to be lifted. I explained to the Manager what happened, the problem, and describe the problem with the hose coming loose. I told him I need the hose checked and where it was located, I asked him to make sure it doesnt come off again. He said he will take care of it and make sure the hose don’t come off again.The next day I had a doctor’s appointment for surgery the following day. I was able to drive the car only about 25-30 miles, and again the car started smoking from the same place as before. I call Genesis talked to the same Manager about what happen. He acknowledged what I asked him to fix, but told me he didn’t do anything with the hose (The main reason I took the car there). He said, instead he did a visual only (didn’t touch the hose) saw the it was on and didn’t bother with the hose, just topped off the fluid. I asked him if he was going to take responsibility for not doing what I asked him to do, he said no, if I was to bring the car back I would be charged for a tow and will have to pay the $214.00 again, then he would charge me to fix the hose.

So of course I am new to the Alvin area and I want my vehicle to have a forever home for maintenance services after reading all the reviews I decided to come here. Let me tell you; although for one small hiccup the service and team were amazing. Mr Mike was very friendly as soon as I walked in, of course my husband handled the details of what service he wanted over they phone the only thing I needed to do was hand my keys over and take a seat. Very great staff and the service manager was very personable and helpful. Only needed an oil change this time but in and out quickly and will definitely be back if my Lincoln SUV needs anything mechnically. Thank you!!
