I love the experience I had today. James made me feel at home and helped me choose the perfect lenses for my needs and my budget. Dr Chung is super sweet and you can tell she really enjoys her job. I picked a pair of Guess frames and a pair of Etro frames and adore them both. I definitely recommend this location.

Fantastic service at the Alpharetta location! Clean, courteous, and decent selection of frames. I have been to other locations with a larger selection, but overall I thought the amount of choices were fair. The only downside to this location is that you cant pick your glasses up on Tuesday or Thursday, but recognize they may have a staff member dedicated to fitting the glasses and that individual may be off on Tues/Thurs so no biggie!

Me and husband went for our eye exams and to order new glasses. First issue, my insurance pay for the full exam along with dilation. Well unannounced, they used a machine that replaces traditional dilation and charged us each $19.00. I called the Manager afterwards and let her know that we were not informed of the charge and unhappy with our experience, she could have cared less. They offered little assistance in picking glasses and didn’t seem to know much about pricing and insurance, so we opted not to purchase glasses with them.

I would never use these people again. Several promotions going on in the store “Buy a Pair, get a pair” and “free anti-glare lenses” not offered and didn’t know about it until after purchase. Was told my glasses would be mailed to me but when I called about it they told me “you didn’t pay the $15 shipping fee” which was never even brought up. I don’t care if I lose my eyes and am walking around like ray charles I’ll just be chucking along blind. Feels like a scam to me.

I really enjoyed my visit here! I had to go in for an eye exam and get a prescription and new contacts. The entire team was wearing masks and checking temperatures to ensure safety for their customers. Dr Chun was very helpful and informative during my visit.

Do not go here. Took forever to even get my glasses and then when I told them I couldn’t see well they had the worst attitude. I ended up going to a completely different doctor (go to Roswell Eye Clinic, they’re amazing) and turns out my script was completely wrong. I will never go to a visionworks ever again. Especially this location where the manager has a terrible attitude and has the nerve to tell me I should be able to see just fine over the phone.

I highly recommend this location! We came for my 13 year old eye exam and prescription . Staff is very patient, helpful, and friendly. There’s a nice clean calming atmosphere when you walk in. Dr. Chun is very nice and professional. My daughter had sooo many questions and Dr. Chun answered each and everyone with knowledge and a smile 😊 my daughter now wants to become an optometrist because of her lovely interaction with Dr. Chun. Everyone that interacted with me for my vision test was incredible. Two problems since. Their system sent a text message that both of my pairs of glasses were available for pick up. However, upon arrival today, I was informed that there was no doctor available (limited dr availability due to covid schedule) and Georgia law does not allow them to release contacts or glasses without a doctor on-premise. The hours when glasses/contacts can be picked should have been in their your glasses are ready test messages. The hours of pick up should also be included on their Google profile and page on the corporate website.It appears that there was a billing issue too but Ill have to follow up with them to have that verified.

I was pleasantly surprised with the level of professionalism and care here. Every one of the six people I saw working at this place on the Tuesday after Christmas was extremely courteous and professional. It was a very, very busy place, buzzing with a LOT of customers trying to cram in last minute eye exams for the year. Then the power went out in the whole complex for a few hours. They still took their time with every customer, calmly doing whatever they could despite having not power. I opted to leave and come back when the power was back on; they called me back after a few hours when the power was back up and I picked out a lovely pair of frames. The doctor, the pre-exam screener, the eyewear professionals- everyone was pleasant and delightful. I was happy they have technology now that allows them to dilate your eyes without drops for mere seconds. The selection of frames was like any other “big box” place, so no “wow” styles. But for what it is- and for the great service - I would highly recommend this place.

The staff was nice. The Frame selections were good. The Dr. was kind. I was reluctant to go to a Chain/franchise Eye dr. But the experience was mostly painless. The only thing that was off putting was how many calls, text and emails I received to confirm and remind me of the appt. It was to much.

It’s time to check out and she gets loud and nasty because I her to breakdown what I’m paying for. Let’s just say if I didn’t feel like I was going blind today I would’ve cancel my transaction.

Bought a pair of glasses here recently and they came in 1 and a half months after they said to me it would be 2-3 weeks. Well 3 months after I received them, a tiny piece of the arm came off and made the glasses incredibly flimsy (this piece was the size of a fingernail). I have the insurance so everything should be okay, right? Nope. They said that the frames I bought were recalled and discontinued over a month ago, and that I would have to buy a new pair at FULL PRICE. They lied to me and said it would be an easy fix when I called them earlier in the week, but 2 days later I called again to tell them Im on the way just for a completely stoic and rude man with no empathy to say I had to buy brand new frames and hung up on me as I was asking for help.They scammed me after I bought a $300 pair of glasses with insurance. I have been wearing glasses my whole life from many different retailers but this is by far the worst service I have had BY A MILE. Now Im blind, broke, and have no way to get a replacement for a brand new pair of glasses... thanks, Visionsworks

People here don’t seem to know what they’re doing; sloppy and slow service. They won’t give me the prescription to my contacts. They had to adjust the prescription, it’s been weeks and still haven’t been notified if they’ve arrived. I finally called them but they didn’t find them. They said they’d have the tech call me but still nothing. They’re are extremely disorganized. It’s scary. The place is the worst place with the worst service I have experienced.

Gary and the rest of the staff provided excellent service. I was serviced as soon as I entered and did not have to wait more than a couple of minutes to get all of my testing done. They even have one of the new machines that can take a picture of your eye without dilating your pupils (which means you can drive here and not have to stay for 3 hours). The doctor was fast, professional, and friendly! She provided good explanations and insight as well as recommendations for my glasses. While the store does take longer than most to get the glasses to you (2 weeks), they will treat you well and professionally the whole time.

Went into Visionworks and was greeted by salesperson. It was very busy in store so that was nice. I had an eye doctor appointment and was taken immediately soon arriving to fill out paperwork. I was given explanation of what to complete.In concerned with amount of people in store that I would be waiting some time...but very efficiently they processed me within 5 minutes through eye exam with very nice gentleman. I sat out side for another 5 minutes to meet with the doctor. A very sweet, personable doctor came out to greet me and shook my hand and walked me into exam room. She did through exam. Before I knew it I was on my way with new contacts ordered. On another note everyone was super friendly, place was clean and I noticed all customers being taken care of. Great staff, wonderful doctor!!! Also very clean and took my insurance!! Satisfied customer. I will be back. Customer earned.

Phenomenal experience. Very friendly staff and willing to lend to hand.I feel like purchasing a pair of glasses or contacts often gets a bad rep due to the steep pricing associated with them. However, please note that MUCH of the pricing is due to the amount of marketing that goes into them. Aspects such as hiring artists to draw frames, hiring models, and of course SHIPPING the product worldwide.Ladies, what are we all familiar with that suffers from the same pricing issues? MAKEUP.Fellas, would you EVER consider purchasing a $30 suit? I hope to God you never do.Everyone, eyewear is something you will be using a majority of your life, especially if you suffer from the same horrible eyesight as I do. Do yourself a favor and do NOT skimp out on this opportunity to see the world for how its meant to be seen. Had another great experience at Visionworks Northpoint! The staff is always friendly, professional, and just genuine. My sons glasses needed repair ( yet again), and not only did they fix them fast, they didnt charge me extra! Talk about surprise and delight! I come here because of the quick turnaround, but also because Ive had such a positive experience everytime. However, Nastasha took the time process my prescription, pick out the perfect pair of frames, and also helped me pick out the best choice of lenses that suited my day to day needs. You cant figure out which store it is, given that Ive reviewed a particular address???My family just showed up for three eye exam appointments we had booked, only to discover that there is no doctor on-site today! This wasnt due to illness or something unforeseen -- they never have a doctor on-site on Thursdays. The person was nice and apologized, but this is unacceptable.

The location is very convenient.As soon as you step in there is always someone at the front desk greeting you taking care of you immediately, no long wait times.Check ups are flawless. I had such a wonderful experience at Visionworks today. I worked with Ulish, and he was AMAZING!! He was kind, helpful, and helped me save about $600!! $600!! UPDATEit is now the 27th and i STILL have not received a call about my glasses being ready, after i was told they would call me on the 26th and be ready. This is ridiculous. on top of all this i got a copy and pasted response from the owner asking me to send additional info about what store this happened at. Look at the address i’ve reviewed under.Unprofessional setting. I was told that adding non glare to my new frames would be $40 then saw on my receipt that i was charged $100 for it unknowingly, when the associate knew i was only adding it on due to the low cost- so why wasn’t i told about an extra $60?? Also, they told me my frames will take up to 10 days however I called 10 days after and the associate told me over the phone they will be ready by friday of that week. it is now monday of the next week and i just called to ask for an update and now i’m told it won’t be ready until the 26th- another extra 4 days. it’s been almost 3 weeks! Lens crafters does same day frames- i would suggest taking your business there. the only reason i’m giving 2 stars is because i was quickly taken care of for the exam portion.

I was having trouble moving my lenses to a pair of replacement frames that I ordered online and called VisionWorks to see if they could help me out. Gary said to come on in and he replaced the lenses for me within a minute of my arrival and didnt charge me for the service. Really nice guy and a great store as well. I went in there to get my glasses adjusted. I was attended to pretty quickly, though my glasses was passed on to 3 different staff. The first staff was having a hard time and ended up scratching my glasses at 3 different spots, who did not mention anything and passed it onto her colleague for help. They did help me get my glasses adjusted eventually. However, it is upsetting that my glasses are now damaged. The staff failed to acknowledge or even bring it up to their colleague when I had pointed out the scratches.

Dr. Chun was a pleasure to see. The eye exam machine was partially broken but she still made it work for my appointment. Staff was very friendly. Tah did a particularly fantastic job helping us through the ordering process. I deducted a star because it did take over two hours for the visit so it factors into my overall experience.

The general manager at this location, Ulish, is a very kind and compassionate man. I had a very difficult situation with my late husband’s lenses not being quite right, we had planned to come in to have them fixed but he passed away before we could do that. I wasn’t sure if anything could be done and wasn’t expecting much but Ulish surprised me with his kindness and understanding at what was a very difficult time. We need more of this kindness and compassion in our society today and I applaud both vision works and Ulish for showing it to a stranger. I highly recommend taking the time to come to Visionworks if you need their services.

I know people have had problems with some other Visionworks locations in the Atlanta area so I was a little worried to come to this location. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the service I received. The staff was friendly and seemed very knowledgable and competent. I only came for an eye exam and I was glad to find the staff didnt try to push me to buy glasses there which is something I have experienced at other eyeglass retailers. I would call to set up an appointment and find out if they are having any special deals because my exam was only $10! Overall good experience.

I’ve been wearing contacts now for 25 years and never truly found a pair that fit well or an optometrist that cared enough to follow up on my experience. Then I visited this location whimsically because I drove by and needed a new prescription before my benefit period lapsed and saw Dr. Sima Dori. Aside from the thorough exam, she explained all the intraccies of my discomfort and the possible remedies. She asked questions about the fit and followed up multiple times to make sure I had a pair that worked for me. I went through 3 different brands before finding the pair I’m wearing now and my eyes have never felt better. I’ve been back a few times over the years and have had the same experience. It’s great when you finally find a practitioner that understands patient needs and cares enough to make your needs their business.

I was in the store just now. I walked in at 5:45. Joshua and his co-worker immeditely said they were closing soon and pointed out where the glass frames were and then turned off the lights. There were two other groups of clients in the store. Turning off the lights at 10 minutes before closing is HORRIBLE customer service.

I called ahead and stated that my family had Eyemed insurance and was told that you all accepted it. I then went online and made 4 appointments for our annual exams. Upon arriving and checking in I was told that you all accepted the insurance, BUT its out of network. Why would I want use out of network and recieve less insurance benefits? I have no idea why no one said this before allowing me to make appointments, drive there and check in. I wouldnt recommend you all at all because it seems like you were just trying to get me in the door.

The employees are least interested in helping you find the frames that fit you. They don’t know how to size up frames.And when you get your glasses, they don’t give you a cleaning cloth. I was shocked at this, I have never bought glasses that don’t come with a cleaning cloth! Upon that the lady in the shop was too rude.She did not even offer me to buy on, she was just like – they don’t come with one . Very unprofessional.

I want to start by saying this is my FIRST and ONLY bad review. I only review places I love....I had just gotten bad news in the parking lot. I was excited to turn my long work day that ended in bad news into a fun afternoon buying new,cute glasses I desperately needed.I saved for months for this!I walk in and am greeted nicely by the receptionist(also salesperson),who complimented on my boots,my purse,my eye color-you name it.I had the small tests done by the receptionist - who told me over the phone (the day before) they took my eye insurance but when I checked in...somehow within less than 24 hours they did not accept it. I had coupons so I decided to do the $10 promo eye exam and the $59 contact exam and since the glasses were BOGO decided to shop for those as well.But I was not happy about the deception which seemed to just get me in the door by saying they accepted my insurance.After the small eye tests, I was seen by the Optometrist who was extremely rude. I had even made an appointment and was treated this badly?I had a long, busy day at work followed by bad news in the parking lot but still managed to ask how she was and was very polite and she never responded all the way until the very end of my exam when I said, thank you, I appreciate it&have a good evening.No response. Just ignored. No you too or thank you for your business. It took her 3 tries to find a contact for my astigmatism eye and even then it was still blurry. I never have in my 21 years of wearing both contact lenses and glasses an eye Dr take 3 tries to find the right contact and be rude to me as if it was my fault somehow and that I was an inconvenience. She did not even dilate my eyes which I asked for on my check in sheet.She said they did not need dilated.Next, I meet with the same receptionist (also salesperson) and I figure this was the fun, try on cute frames part I have been waiting and saving for!He tells me the lenses alone are $275! and asks what my budget is for frames keeping that in mind. I tell him and he starts handing me glasses nowhere NEAR my budget. I try to keep in mind the BOGO and still try keeping a positive attitude to turn my day around. UNTIL...I keep saying I do not like any decoration on the sides of the frames because of my job and it does not look professional for big meetings. He continues to bring me frames with decoration laughing and says, Do you plan on shaving your head anytime soon? and Are you expecting your hair to thin or fall out? Exact words. I swallow a huge lump in my throat and hold back tears as I have had chemo meds for several, chronic diseases and my hair has and will forever thin due to permanent side effects.What if I was just diagnosed with cancer and had radiation and or chemo treatments lined up? I could not help but think what if I was that person? How would that make them feel? I simply try to ignore his rude, thoughtless comments and continue shopping for frames I like. I finally by this point am so exhausted (again, I have several chronic diseases). I pick two out and just decide to check out. We sit down he then says, that will be $524! What? I have never paid that much for 1 pair of glasses in my entire 21 years of shopping for and wearing them! Again, he knew my budget!I then say I would like to shop for cheaper frames he refuses and tells me to call him on my lunch break tomorrow and he can get my card info over the phone and hold my order. He will not take no for an answer. I say I will just pay for the exams then-he will not run my card for just the exams. I was appalled! I get you work on commission but there is no excuse for this! I am too tired to argue. I leave and call the next day on lunch telling the receptionist I will be by after work.My 2nd visit was worse than the 1st believe it or not. The manager only made things worse, not better. It was awful!I urge anyone to steer clear of this place. I cried the whole way home wondering how people think it is OK to treat people like this.Go anywhere but here!
