First let me preface this by saying that I’ve been getting my glasses from this store since 2012 and have always had a very good experience. In fact, I’ve continued to get my eyewear from this store after moving further away, which brings me to the last couple of months. Overall everyone have been great to work with. But it has been the sales representative that really shined! When it comes to the definition of great customer service, her name should be in the same sentence.She’s gone above and beyond when making sure that my glasses were perfect, even when it meant making three different changes to get just right. And every time she did so with professionalism, patience, being knowledgeable, knowing when to ask a colleague for assistance while always doing it with a smile. In my opinion that’s what great customer service is:“going the extra mile”With that said, in a time where negative reviews or comments seem to outnumber the positive, I hope this review can contribute to the list of positives and give kudos to your employee at this location!UPDATE 08/08/21 Review #2Another awesome experience and I didn’t even step foot into the store. The actual doctor consultation was fine, speedy and efficient. However, I waited nearly an hour and a half pass my appointment time on a average Thursday morning to be seen even though there were only two folks in front of me. Granted, this might have been out of the offices control, but it felt ridiculous to me. Additionally, I was charged for a pretest that I explicitly asked if I would be charged extra for (told I would not be) and asked to opt out of just in case. They said it was required, however no where on their website in signing up for an annual eye exam did they indicate that was necessary. If I had known, I would have gone to the other nearby Lenscrafters location that did not perform the same test a year prior. It was more so frustrating because although they said the eye pictures were for my health, I was told nothing about what the pictures showed/what they indicated about my eye health, but charged 40 dollars for the procedure. I waited an hour to be seen, and was forced to take an Optomap despite clearly and explicitly saying that I DID NOT want the test performed if it were to cost extra. After looking up common procedure for pre tests for an eye exam, an optomap is widely considered a not necessary, additional test, and to be told it was required and NOT MADE AWARE that i would have to pay for it during my pretest showed an embarrassing lack of professionalism and consideration for a client’s requests/needs. Good to know that this location operates as a money grab. Won’t be back ever and would heed others away. Very disappointing and frustrating visit.

Real bad store and worst staffThey did not tell me that my plan (VSP) is out of network for them and i had to spent hour looking for frame, also i left store without glasses, but they had pulled my insurance information already, which did not allow me to get frame/glasses from any other store. When called store manager told me they are real busy and i need to get them in a 3 way call with VSP. (which is not possible). Real bad service and arrogant store manager.

I went in to Lenscrafters at NP mall on Wednesday March 17, 2021 at about 11am to look for a pair of prescription sunglasses. The associate who was at the main counter was so so rude. She said can I help you. I said yes I’m looking for a pair of prescription sunglasses. She said ok and stared at me. I said should I just look around? She said don’t touch more than three frames, it takes us 30 minutes to disinfect. I was blown away. I asked if my lenses could be tinted, she looked down dialed a number and began leaving a message for a customer alerting them that their order was ready. At first I thought she was talking to me I said excuse me, she gave me the evil eye and kept on with her message. Don’t ever go there!!

This review is posted for consumer educational purposes.I scheduled an appointment one year in advanced. I have Insurancecoverage. This provider Zoya Optical is an in network provider, which means that that they are aware of the benefits and services that I am entitled to. They have contracted with the Insurance company to accept those provisions. Less than 24 hours prior to my appointment I received a Telephone voice message stated that they are mandating an out of network service that I will be paying for. So in effect they are modifying my Insurance coverage for a service that I have not agree to. Therefore, they will be billing for in network service plus an out of network services.They are expecting to bill the Insurance and the consumer at one visit.When contacted the customer service was disappointing.It is not a customer friendly environment. I cancelled the appointment. I have been using this location for over 12 years, but these are new providers to this location. This is not a good match.

The people at this location are always rude and lazy. I came one time and had a bad experience. I thought it may have just been the workers on shift that day, but I came back a year later and the customer service was still just as terrible. The store is also very dark. Do not recommend this LensCrafters! My best experience was the the Mall of Georgia location.

I have for several years bought all my prescription glasses and for all my family as well at this store in the North Point Mall, today I went to buy a newpair of progressive glasses that run for about 600 dollars, and while choosing the correct model I noticed that they were selling anti-fog liquid which would come very handy this covid season, I asked the manager which was attending me if I could spray a couple of drops on my glasses just to see if it would work for me, her answer was a definite NO. I have spent thousands of dollars for all my families glasses, I’m about to spend 600 on a new pair and she denied me to test a 7.99 anti-fog solution for free!!Customer service is out the door at this store! she wouldn’t budge on the couple of drops of a bottle that I would have bought any way and ruin a hole family business for life!Never again will come to this store!

It was very easy to make an appointment. Appt are scheduled with enough time between to keep traffic to a minimum. The friendliest and most patient people work at the North Point office. Each person was kind and helpful. They sanitize and use safe Covid procedures. The receptionist, the person who works the machines, the doctor, and the person who helps you select and fit the glasses were patient, did not make me wait long, were friendly, and put me at ease. I actually enjoyed the visit, after being locked away from humans for almost a year due to covid. Its a safe and happy place to get your glasses and exam. They have a fantastic inventory of frames, lens, and machines to test your eyes.

Ripoff, They will nickel and dime you. I just wanted an Optomap but they forced me to buy the digital eye exam for $124. Well at an MD a refraction is only $55. Another $90 for contacts which is only $65 at an MD.The optometrist cannot do an exam without Optomap or touch my eye if a contact gets stuck because she will lose her license.Only a real doctor like an urgent care doctor or ophthalmologist can remove a contact.Then they send me to cataract surgeon with a referral even though Medicaid does not require a referral!The optometrists are Indian who refer me to Milan eye where the MD doctors are also Indian. Does the whole family work at a Dairy Queen? What a joke!!

Had an appointment scheduled for today. Office called to say there was an additional $49.99 on top of my copay due to covid because the optometrist had to use special equipment. I cancelled my appt, called another optometrist office and they had no hidden cost for covid. Booked appt. They laughed when I told them about this $49.99. I used to love LensCrafters never again.

I am regular customer for couple of years but every disappointed with LensCrafers. Time to move out from LensCraftsPoint 1: Took costly glassed for my kids but its foggy and blurry, required frequent hourly cleaning for the glasses. Fade-up and orders another pair with regular glasses and its working fine. Cheated with costly concept.Point 2: Another incident, during ordering they said 5-7 working days to delivery and running 3rd week but not yet ready and no updates even. Every time they said just shippedPoint 3: Assistance are not good enough comparing past experience. day by day they become very rude and ignoring to help customers with their necessary questions.

Dont waste your time and resources here. Left quite upset and negative.I went there to update my prescription which was fine. Then I went to try purchase a glasses and lens- the staff was so rude! I asked if they had Crizal coating, they kept stating they don’t make coatings single correction lens. Thats not true, maybe they dont carry it. she started arguing with me lol. I was like ok, can you show me my old prescription and receipt... which I took last year - she wasnt able to pull up my information. There are so many better stores who will be able help me.. we aren’t there for charity. Felt unwelcome, last purchase was over $500. Did not make the purchase again this year.

I’ve tried to give this location 3 different chances but each time it’s disappointing. They make it clear that they are commission based, the moment you tell them you are there to pick out your frames but have to come back later in the day to complete the fitting process (since it does take a while) they will stop talking and working with you - give you the cold shoulder. There is one gentleman that use to be there (not sure if he still is) and he was very pleasant. Every other experience I’ve had with employees there have been rude. Never had any of these issues at 2 other Lens Crafters locations that I have used. Too bad this close location is never a good experience.

Stopped by the store today to try on eye frames and found that this location continues to be the worst LensCrafters to date. The staff is consistently abrasive and just bothered by the presence of any kind of traffic in their store. Forget about being greeted with any kind of civility and expect a long wait with no apologies. Checked my insurance and was thrilled to find that my insurance is accepted by other optical providers. Taking my business elsewhere.

I used to get my glasses there every time I needed a new prescription, and have only been twice since they stopped doing same day glasses. They didnt have a big selection when I went, and I was told Id only have to wait 7-10 days for the glasses. Two weeks later and I have to go back to my town (I was visiting relatives which is why I got the glasses there) for band camp. They didnt arrive for another week. The time before that, we were told that wed be called when my glasses were ready to be picked up, but they never called. As it turns out, theyd been there for a week before we called to check. Dont waste your time.

This is a ZERO STAR...This is by far the worst experience Ive ever had. It has been three weeks not the 7-10 days or sooner they said. I rang them after two weeks they said they would find out the status of my glasses. A week went by on one rang me, I rang them back Monday they will find out where the glasses are, today is Saturday and still nobody has contacted me. I will cancel my order and will ring up my insurance company to not pay.

I went in on 9/16 to get a contact lens exam at Zoya Optical inside of Lens Crafters. A higher power contact lens prescription was given than my usual, but was a minimal change so I assumed that was fine. However, I was talked into a new contact brand as well when there and told there was a good rebate. Little did I realize thered be no follow up to this appointment (which surprised me with new brand & prescription issued) and have been having headaches for 3 weeks thereafter, so have been wearing my old glasses instead. Additionally, the purchase of a years subscription was basically convenienced onto me at checkout and hurried out the door when I later discovered the rebate that was talked up only applied to purchases before 6/30 (it had expired 2.5mths earlier). Im disappointed in my most recent visit and will not return for future exams. However, I at least wanted you all to be aware of the expired rebates they are providing as I feel its misleading. I attempted to inform the Zoya practice, but also conveniently their Contact Me on the website is not working.

I will never buy another pair of glasses from lenscrafters ever again, they tell you your glasses will be in ,in 7 days ,you go check oh no it can take up to two weeks , so you go back and check oh theyve been shipped they will be here friday or Saturday, sorry theyll be in on Monday, ok they are in but you cant pick them up until tomorrow we have to Inspect them OK I understand that but you got 4 hours before youre gonna close you can inspect them so I can pick up before I go on vacation. People just tell your customers the truth, you dont know when they will be in and youll call them when they are ready. How hard is that. Youve lost a customer

Friday afternoon of last week (11/1) a friend and I went in to pick out some glasses since she had an appointment the next day. She was going to get dilated so she wanted to have her two new frames picked already.Surprisingly, we were greeted with “do you have an updated prescription and are you purchasing glasses today?” We explained we’d be coming the next day for an eye exam and we were going to browse around.After about 20 minutes or so, we were still browsing but had finally narrowed it down to about 3 frames and the same lady that greeted us, approached us and asked “are you just here to take pictures for Instagram or what?” We were uncertain as to how to reply so I perplexed said “no, we are still just looking.”We kept on browsing but were both extremely taken aback with such a rude comment.What really got us was when the same lady came one last time (not even 10 minutes later) to ask us if we were done with the frames. By then, we felt almost rushed out the door so I told my friend that we should just leave since we seemed to be bothering the lady working.We put all the the frames back in their corresponding location and left.My friend cancelled the appointment and she found a private practice that provided exceptional service.

The worst experience ever. The LensCrafters side are rude and do not understand there should be no gaps between the frames and lenses. I argued with one of there reps for about 15 mins that the lens were not fitted correctly. To make along story short I finally got them to send them back to have the lenses fixed. Got them back and image that no gaps between the frames and lenses.

I have very mixed emotioms at this point. Ive always gone to Lens Crafters and have always had good experiences. Though, Im pretty bummed about the recent changes. I had to wait quite a while for my new lenses (as opposed to same day, like it used to be). I had a pretty drastic change in astigmatism, so waiting for new lenses was no fun with my previous (now inaccurate) prescription.I received a follow up call about my glasses, which I feel may be a waste of their resources.However, I love my new glasses and have never had a more perfect prescription. The frames are adorable and they fit very well.

HORRIBLE LENSCRAFTERS. I bought a pair of Ralph Lauren glasses here over a year ago. I had constant problems with the frames. I had purchased a warranty so they replaced the glasses for a $25 fee. The new Ralph Lauren frames had constant problems as well. Every few weeks I came into this store to have the right lens placed back in the frame. I told them there was something wrong with this frame as well. I have other glasses that I have purchased at Costco and never had a problem. Every time I came into the store this year to replace the lens they told me there was nothing wrong with the frame. Finally, the lens popped out in the dark one night and I could not find it. Today they said they will not honor the 1 year warranty on the new frames. I have to buy a whole new set of glasses. The manager, Monica, was extremely rude and said there was nothing else she could do for me and walked away. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LENSCRAFTERS! THEIR PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS, THEIR GLASSES HAVE CHEAP FRAMES, AND THEY DONT HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES. I WENT TO COSTCO AND GOT ARMANI FRAMES FOR 1/2 THEIR PRICE AND NO ATTITUDE FROM A SLOPPILY DRESSED, UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER!

I called this store after purchasing my glasses there and having cataract surgery. I needed to replace one lens with no prescription. I was told that I needed to replace both lens and would need a prescription for a no prescription lens. What? Also it would take 10 days. Never got to the cost. Wow.

I went through 4 exams, prescribed contacts that caused multiple severe eye abrasions to the point where my eyes were so red it resembled pink eye and I kept getting eye infections. The 1st set of contacts that was prescribed were misdiagnosed. The doctor had me fitted a 2 1/2 year old prescription. After my regular physician prescribed medication for the numerous infections over a period of about 5 months and my eyes finally felt ok, I returned to the eye doctor to be fitted in the contacts.I am the patient! Therefore, I feel as if a patient says, these contracts feel a little thick and its a little blurry immediately, the doctor should have been concerned but she decided that it was a new pair of contacts and I would have to get used to it. Later that night after it was time to remove them, I found two contacts in my left eye. The package of lens that they gave me to put on before I left their office, (after what is now the fourth exam), had 2 lens attached to each other and I put them in my eyes and wore them all day. This became very irritating! My eyes were red, I had a headache for days following this and as usual I could wear contacts in my eyes. Back to square one! Too and insult injury, they charged me $50.00 for the mistakes that they made. I was told that it was for the exam because one of their other doctors checked my eyes.Considering the way that I have been treated, the lack of customer service and fairness, I could write a book! I just didnt know that they needed money from a struggling, poor grandmother so bed until they would scam me for an extra $50.00.BUYER BEWARE OF THE LENSCRAFTERS IN NORTH POINT MALL!

Horrible customer service. They gave me 3 different pick up days and still didnt have my glasses on time. They messed up the lense after having them late. I tried to go get it checke/corrected and pretty much kicked me out saying they were closed one hour before they actually closed. Ive been getting my glasses at LensCrafters for years and I have never been treated so disrespectfully and just plain terrible. I will never EVER go back to that location and certainly not recommend to anyone.

My experience at North Point Mall on Sunday, September 27, 2014 was horrible. My family has been a loyal customer of this establishment for many years. My family has purchased 13 pairs of glasses from this business; however, I was treated by the manager of this Lenscrafters as if I had never done business with them before. I would rate my experience as a -10 on a scale of 0 to 10 with 10 being the best. My sons glasses are bent at the handle and I took it in for adjustments. Initially, I was told that she would try to repair but it may break. To that I responded ok because as they are now, my son could not wear them. The manager asked if I brought the protection plan and I said yes. Once she looked in the system and saw that my protection plan expired 2 weeks before, she was no longer interested in helping us. Needless to say, as I write this review, my husband is working on repairing our sons glasses so that he can have them to wear to school tomorrow. If they are not going to stand behind the products that they sell, then they should not sell them. After all, their prices are not cheap. I was not asking for a replacement....only for someone to look at them for repair. I will no longer patronize a business that treats me like a low class citizen and that is how I felt when I walked out with the managers sarcasm directed towards me. When I asked for the manager, she abrasively informed me that she was the manager. She even referred to me by the wrong name in the midst of her sarcasm in which I corrected her. I would suggest that you think twice and do your research before using Lenscrafters at North Point Mall. I wont anymore and I will tell everyone I come into contact with about my experience.

Wow, never thought I would be doing this review. I went to lenscrafters April 28,2015 ordered and paid for two pair of glasses along with eye exam.Well, the eye doctors are great very patient explained everything I felt I needed to know. I then went right inside the attached Eyeglass display and with my associate helping I found 2 pair of frames I liked ordered the glasses and with the pseudo insurance discounts I paid $800.00 .was then told the glasses would be ready in 10 business days.Lets see now, today is May 27,2015 the second pair of glasses have yet to arrive. I do understand it takes a while for them to send to order to Zenni optical in the Republic of China but I do not get any of the price benefit of that and stll waiting for the second pair.I did get a phone call some time a week or so ago and the message said something about they had trouble with the printer so the glasses arrived without the transitionsOk, I think anyone reading this will realize I have been more than patient before posting this review but $800.00 later and a PRINTER is the reason, sorry I cannot buy that If I treated my customers with such lack of interest they would BEAT FEET and so if I ever get this resolved I will do the same.
