Never been to this place before and was hesitant at first because of the reviews Ive read online. It was nothing like I expected. Everyone seemed hands on and the doctor was very informative and explained what type of prescription and frames would work best with my vision. The customer service provided to us was amazing!! I love the frames and lens we bought. I definitely think it was worth what we paid. We definitely will be coming back for our second pair.

Dr Pacheco goes above and beyond when doing an eye examination. . She takes the time to discuss any issues you may have and your options for taking better care of your eyes. Her staff is very friendly and customer oriented. I highly recommend Pearle Vision/Desert Mountian Eye Care.

This place is so bad They wouldnt fix my glasses some versage glasses very expensive it looks like they use glue to keep the lenses in place. They said thats what they have to do to to keep them in place do not go there not a good place at all. It is a very expensive place.

The Albuquerque Pearle Vision has turn into a catch 22 scam business. On June 4, 2021, I requested an eye appointment, but Pearle Vision will not provide an exam unless you purchase frame/glasses. Albuquerque Pearle Visions intent is to double dip on your payment. And Pearle Visions has the moxie (Im being PG rated) to send me a letter stating Its been a year since your last visit. Eye exams can update your prescription and help detect other conditions such as glaucoma and diabetes. Sincerely, your neighborhood Pearle Vision in Albuquerque. What a crock! I recommend taking your business elsewhere that cares about you as a neighbor. * Red more reviews......Pearle Vision, the response is exactly what I stated interms of wanting me or any other customers is to first try your 1. services (eye exam) and 2. products (purchase frames/glasses) or as I call it double dip on your payment.

Doctor and staff were very thorough on explaining each portion of the eye exam, and helping me understand each step, no rush rush, like most exams or appointments are these days. Highly recommend this eye centers staff and the doctor.

Excellent service! Everyone was friendly in that entire store, from the kind woman who examined me before the doctor (Briana? Brianna maybe.), to the woman (Jasmine!) who helped me find a pair of frames I fell in love with. Jasmine was great about going over all my options of lenses and making sure I was getting exactly what I needed AND wanted. Overall, great experience. Everyone wore masks, they were constantly wiping down things to keep it safe in the store. If I ever need anything glasses-related again, I’ll be sure to go back. Great experience, great people, great store!

Incredibly rude, nasty and unhelpful. They were listed as a VSP Provider, but would not work with any VSP rates or copays. They also became incredibly irate and threatened to cancel my appointment when I asked if they could call VSP to confirm my insurance information and costs. Their special eye exam is $194 and not able to be covered by insurance, because its special. Definitely a deceptive money-grab. Dont waste your time.DONT SAY YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE IF YOU ARE A CASH BUSINESS. BE HONEST IF YOU ARE AN EXPENSIVE BOUTIQUE SERVICE THAT DOESNT WANT TO WORK WITH INSURANCE PROVIDERS AND BUDGETS.

The original visit could have been improved....I felt the optician helping me with my order of my glasses was distracted and more interested in talking to her co worker about her hair appt. The Dr was thorough, nice, and professional as always....her husband who is helping on the side where the glasses are was also a delight. The quality of my glasses have always been top notch and that is why I continue to go to Pearle Vision for my glasses. Perhaps the young lady helping me can make sure to go over charges with the customer instead of fraternizing with her coworkers.

My wifes glasses lost a screw holding the lens in. I thought it would be a major repair, maybe requiring soldering. The young lady at the counter took a quick look at the glasses and advised it would be a few minutes to fix. The young lady (Teanna) spent about 15 minutes finding and installing the proper screw. I was so impressed by the great customer service. How much? No charge!! We will return when we need new glasses!

Ive needed corrective lenses for most of my life and now that Im on Medicare I had to find a new provider. I was hesitant to go to a corporate business but I was extremely impressed with the service I recieved here. I had the most thorough and informative eye exam ever. While I didnt get the best news about my eyes I walked away with more knowledge and steps I can take to protect them. I highly recommend this service.

Apparently they wont do an eye exam without adding extra fees for an eye scan that is not covered by insurance. Considering that I have gone to numerous other eye doctors and these scans are always optional, I find this unacceptable. Dilation is typically what I have done when my doctor recommends. However, this facility told me that is not an option. I cancelled my visit and will go to a facility that will do a comprehensive eye exam without trying to squeeze me for unnecessary expenses.

Dr. Pacheco was so awesome. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and took time to explain everything. I was never told by other Dr.s that I was causing my dry eyes to get worse but she did and gave me advice to help calm and ease the problem. I think I found the best doc ever. She even helped me pick out my frames. All the staff were excellent also. They were very friendly and helpful. Got some very nice frames and a nice pair of Ray Bans. Very helpful in helping me pick the perfect frames to fit my thin face. I have never been this satisfied anywhere else.

I had a great experience getting my eyeglasses here. Mariah was so nice and helpful in explaining to me the differences in the lens features. I did pay out of pocket here since I didn’t have insurance but I thought it was reasonably priced for what I got. I will definitely be coming back to get more glasses here!

BUYERS BEWARE- if your glasses do not work and you want a refund, this store refused to refund my money and charged me a 33% “restocking” fee after failing twice to make my glasses correctly. I asked the manager where this policy was posted and he claimed it was in the store- nowhere to found, not on a receipt, not on their website. Last insult was being told that they were losing money even with a restocking fee- simply unbelievable!!! To my fellow Veterans, take your business elsewhere-not a business worthy of your patronage. Would give zero stars if that was an option.

Above and beyond customer service. I went into Pearle Vision today looking for a pair of sun glasses. The store is extremely clean and seem to have impeccable processes in place during this time. The staff was outstanding and helpful. With their help I was educated on the different styles, fits, and lenses. I left with the assurance that I found the perfect pair for me!

My eye issue was not simple and the staff showed not only a concern about the effects on my eye but about trying to help determine the shy even if it was not only an eye care concern. They were interested in my total health and well being. Phillip Pecheco stole a firearm from me. I had legally mailed myself a firearm registered in my name and due to the fault of the UPS they dropped the box off at the wrong address. When I went to see him about the misplaced package he told me he took it and was not going to give it back to me. He then lied to the police and tried making it way more difficult than it needed to be. There is no reason he should have opened my package, and no reason he should have been so unprofessional and disrespectful to both myself and the local law enforcement.

Dr. Pacheco’s HUSBAND (Phil) who runs the Pearle Vision is completely unprofessional. If you get a Pearle Vision coupon that came from the MENAUL address, dont bother trying to use it, he refuses to accept them. I consider the refusal to accept and honor a coupon that has the name and address of your business false advertising. They do not offer a discounted exam price for those without insurance, as most businesses do. Upon hearing that I would be paying $149 for the exam, I let him know that I would have to find a less expensive venue to purchase the glasses. None of the exam price goes toward the purchase of glasses at their location. I paid $500 for one pair at this Pearle Vision a few months ago. After hearing that we wouldnt be purchasing glasses there, he refused to allow my son to attend his scheduled appointment with Dr. Pacheco. Dr. Pacheco is a fantastic optometrist and I have recommended her to my family and friends. Unfortunately, she just lost $1,000 per year for my familys eye exams, due to her husband DEMANDING that we purchase glasses there in order to have an exam.

Was charged an $80 fee on top of my insurance copay for a thinner lens. I paid the fee but when I got home and called my insurance they told me it should have only been $40. When I questioned the fee with Pearle, the manager Phil cancelled my order. They are charging customers fees and blaming it on the insurance. New management is terrible. Refuses to talk to the customer and if you question the fraudulent charge just cancels and refuses to do business with you. I contacted their corporate and my insurance to let them know they are charging customers hidden fees to make a profit and blaming it on the insurance companies.

I want to first echo the sentiments of others that Dr. Pacheco was great. Even the tech that helped me before her was great. This review is more about who I think was her husband, the manager. I called to get an annual check and a new prescription but I mentioned I was also having an issue that they told me could be an emergency. I was told I should come in immediately and that it would be a $200 visit instead of the $10 co-pay that Im accustomed to with my insurance. When I asked why, his response was, Because thats what we charge. The more polite, professional, and accurate response is that they use diagnosis and procedure codes that are deemed to be medical billing codes and they dont bill medical, only vision. I also found out later they are out-of-network for my plan (those same codes would have been covered at 100% in-network). These two things would have been helpful information at the time. At the time, I was scared and running out of options, but I told him I would call back if I wanted to schedule because I was still trying to process the price and find other options. He told me they would only hold the time slot offered for ten minutes. So I called back and made the appointment because it was late in the day and I was afraid I wouldnt be able to find anyone else to take me that day. When I arrived, a girl came outside and did a standard covid assessment, but then before letting me in, she went back in then came back out and asked me if I was ok with paying the $200. I was floored because obviously me scheduling the appointment and showing up was clear indication that I was ok with paying. It felt like they took a look at me and decided I might not be able to pay. I was seen and it was determined the issue I was having was not an emergency, but I walked out with a $200 bill and NO new prescription for my glasses. So I had to go to another optometrist a couple of weeks later for my prescription and I also mentioned the issue I was having. They did all the EXACT same diagnostics and I walked out only paying my $10 co-pay AND with the prescription I needed for new glasses. A great doctor cant make me overlook what felt like fraudulent charges and discrimination/cultural bias.

First off it was great to be able to make an appointment on line. I was very impressed from the moment I walked in the door. Danielle greeted me instantly & then Jasmine was right there to help me get all of my paperwork completed. It has been a very long time that I have had such a great experience at any kind of medically related appointment. Dr. Pacheco was extremely warm & very informative. I felt that she listened to my current concerns & addressed them expertly. Then the fun really began in picking out frames...I think everyone was helping me. Honestly it was fun as I tried on different ones & we would all say, Nope, not those ones at the same time. I am looking forward to maintain a great relationship with this practice.

My experience here was amazing from calling in to schedule the initial appointment to the exam itself. Danielle was very knowledgeable and courteous when scheduling me and then helping me pick out frames. She educated me on what my insurance will cover and was amazing. Both of the optometrists I saw were very helpful in determining what would be my best need for glasses. Both of the optometrists had a human connection which makes all the difference! The selection of frames was so awesome I had a couple pairs that I absolutely adored and plan on getting soon. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

Dr. Pacheco was wonderful. The eye exam was thorough. The folks in the optical shop were also very nice. I cannot give them 5 stars due to a myriad of mishaps that have resulted in a month delay in getting my new glasses. I made my appointment well in advance of my vacation so I could get my new glasses prior. Dr. Pacheco got sick and we had to reschedule for a week later. I notified them that I was going out of town 9 days later and was assured my new glasses would arrive. I was keeping my current frames and just getting new lenses. They did say they could not guarantee but the chances were extremely good. I called daily until my trip and my glasses were not going to be ready. They did fashion me a temporary pair w my old lenses for vacation which I appreciated very much. When I got back from my trip, my glasses still were still not ready. Days later I was called and notified the lab broke my frames. I had to go in and pick frames. At first the manager was going to have me pay out of pocket for new frames even though my frames broke in their care. I was finally able to agree to have him partially the cover the cost of the new frames. When the new glasses came in, I went to pick up. When we were adjusting them the technician broke one of the lenses. They had to order a new pair. So, here I am again waiting for my glasses.They have been apologetic but its not enough and I feel they really need to go above and beyond to rectify this with me. The glasses were not cheap. I feel like I should get some money back or something for all of the trouble.

The whole experience was exceptional! I called around to several other offices before and Danielle was so sweet and helpful that I decided to make an appointment with this location. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by several smiling faces. Coming from someone who works in costumer service, I appreciated that greatly. Bryanna was very patient and explained all the testing as she went along and had a great sense of humor. Dr. Pacheco was very thorough and knowledgeable and I feel I was given the best eye exam Ive ever had. Celeste helped me pick my glasses and she was so sweet and helped me find a pair that I loved. I am very picky with my frames and always have a hard time finding something that fits but she was able to direct me to ones that were a good options for my prescription and face shape. Not a good experience. I had an appointment here and I came with my mom. We had to wait for the post office man to leave the inside, without getting his temperature taken. After, one employee took my mothers temperature first and then mine. We went inside and was immediately greeted with two other employees staring and whispering at us. We then went to the exam lobby and was left to fill out paperwork. Both my mom and I were very uncomfortable and decided to leave. One employee whom we expressed our disappointment and uncomfortableness to didnt seem to care and didnt great us on our way out. When my mom and I got in the car, all the employees were laughing and staring at us. If they dont want to deal with asian customers, maybe they shouldnt have a job.

Let me start with saying that I called every optical location in Alb looking for an appointment for me and my daughter and was told that my wait would be 2-3 months for an appointment. I called PV and was able to schedule an appointment the next day for my daughter and mine, the next week. Upon arrival, my daughter and I were COVID screened (temp at the door) and were greeted warmly by the staff. Staff had remembered me when I was scheduling my appointments and said, lets just have you see the Doctor today instead of waiting until next week. Major kudos for making the most of my time. Exam experience:. The technology used in this office is beyond amazing and Dr. Pachecos demeanor is phenomenal. She took her time to explain everything I ever wanted to know about mine and my daughters eye health..ahhmaaazing!! Shopping experience: Im sorry that I dont remember the agents name but she too was awesome, patient, kind and even provided a few reading recommendations to my daughter. Regarding Price: I purchased 2 Ray Ban frames, one for night time w/clear lens and 1 for daytime with polorized lens with all the coatings and anti-glare bells and whistles. Totally my choice and knew price would not be cheap being that my insurance would only offset price on the first pair. I also believe that you get what you pay for and am quite confident that I will love my glasses. My vision is worth the fantastic experience that I had with Pearl Vision and I intend on being a customer/patient for a long time.

I went in last week to purchase a new pair of glasses. The individual who assisted me seemed uninterested and bored. His body language indicated that it was a chore for him to help me. After I selected the glasses I wanted, he quoted me an out of pocket price that was over twice what I have paid for eyeglasses in the past. When I questioned him about the cost he explained that my insurance provider did not cover the cost of progressive lenses, or scratch resistant coatings. When I let him know that I believed my insurance did indeed cover these items he became visibly agitated. His tone shifted, and he became argumentative, and combative. When I let him know that I would return after I had a chance to verify my insurance coverage he rolled his eyes.I called him a couple of days later to let him know that I had verified with my provider that the items in question were indeed covered. He sarcastically told me that all he could do was go off of what his system said. I asked if he could call my provider to verify the correct coverage. I was stunned when yelled out “WE DON’T DO THAT’. I proceeded to let him know that I was sorry to have to go somewhere else In spite of the fact that he had spent time assisting me. In a very combative tone of voice he replied “we don’t finagle price”. I reiterated that I wasn’t trying to haggle with him, but merely wanted to make sure that my insurance benefit was properly applied. He refused to listen and went on ranting about not finagling price. I wished him a nice day, and ended the call.I decided to call back and let the owner know about my experience with this individual (Phil). When the owner finally came on the line I was surprised to find out that it was the same person who had assisted me. I let him know that I thought his demeanor towards me was rude, unprofessional, and out of line. He stated that he was not rude, and that I only felt that way because he refused to finagle the price with me. I attempted to explain to him again that I was not trying to haggle with him. This proved difficult as at this point he was rudely and aggressively talking over me and ranting about not finagling price. When I finally got a word in I explained that I had called back merely to let the owner know that I intended to post an online review. He replied in a hateful manner that I should do whatever I needed to do.I went to a competitor, and was able to consummate my purchase paying only for the difference in the price of the selected frames from the amount that was covered. Everything else was covered by my insurance provider.Phil’s behavior was unethical, and unprofessional to say the least.He acted like a narcissistic, spoiled, egotistical child.

This business does not even deserve a star. I would give no stars but that option was not available. The prices are ridiculously expensive. You have to pay for 1 pair of contact lens and your prescriptions and its all sums up to about 300 dollars. The front desk lady was very disrespectful and obviously does not excel in costumer service. Would not recommend this place at all whatsoever.

I had an excellent experience. They had a huge selection of Ray-Bans to pick from. The hardest part was deciding which one to chose but luckily the staff was so helpful and helped me decide which was the best fit for me. Danielle made the whole process fun and easy. This was my first visit to this office and I was very impressed. All of the staff was very friendly and patient with me. I am very particular about my glasses and apprehensive of new doctors. The examination was very thorough and Dr. Pacheco answered all my questions. Danielle helped me find the perfect pair of glasses. I have had a hard time finding a frame in the past that fit correctly and have had to settle for ones I did not really like. After picking up these new glasses, I love them! I see clearer then ever and have already gotten multiple compliments on the style. Thank you.

I went in for my first eye exam in a number of years on Saturday March 9th. I was the first customer of the day and was treated with nothing less than exceptional service. Dr. Pacheco was very professional and thorough with my exam. She took her time to make sure my prescription was as accurate as possible. I didnt even realize I needed glasses but she helped me identify all the issues Ive been having with my vision. She also advised that I used special lubricant eye drops for my dry eye and explained which are best. Dr. Pacheco was very knowledgeable, professional and made me feel very comfortable for an initial exam.Following my exam I met with my optician Danielle. Danielle was so much fun! She provided honest suggestions in choosing frames, but with so much personality. Her customer service went above and beyond as she got to know me as a person and not just a customer. Terrible communication! If you call dont even bother leaving a voicemail, they will never call you back. No matter how many voicemails you leave.Dont ask them anything because they dont know and will put the blame on you. Was asked for my prescription and they said I had a disease last time so they didnt have one on file. Not a SINGLE person told me that!

Let me preface this with the fact that Dr. Pacheco of Desert Mountain Eye Care is fantastic, I wish this review wouldn’t impact her business, because she really is a wonderful optometrist. However her HUSBAND who runs the “Pearle Vision” is completely unprofessional. Upon hearing that, we decided to still go ahead with the exam and take the prescription elsewhere for more affordable options (the glasses there are ridiculously overpriced, I got 2 pairs of designer Tom Ford frames at Costco for $300, he’s charging $500 for one pair from Bebe). After hearing that, he canceled my brother’s exam as he and my mother stood in the lobby and said “I’m in the business of selling glasses, not exams”. I’m a pretty chill person, I never write bad reviews, especially in the middle of a pandemic when there are service professionals risking their health and wellness for ours, but after hearing how my mother and brother were treated? I’ll put it this way, if you WANT to feel demeaned and discriminated against for not having over half a grand to spend on your optical health, this is the place for you.

The other day I went to Pearle vision for the first time to get glasses, previously I had gone to Stanton never again will I go there lol however Pearle vision is great! When I got there I was greeted by Danielle she was so sweet and helped me the whole time giving me recommendations and even scheduled for me to get an eye exam that day. She had amazing customer service skills and had no problem with me asking for her opinion on which glasses I should get. Every person I interacted with was absolutely wonderful! Danielle, jasmine, Emilio, and even the doctor! They were all so nice. Emilio and Danielle were so wonderful while proceeding to get my glasses they both helped me decide between a few pairs and made the whole experience so great! I would recommend Pearle vision to anyone who is indecisive and needs a little help picking (you can even put a pair on hold!) wants a good thorough eye exam and who wants a varsity of frames to pick from.🖤🔥🖤

All the staff were extremely friendly. Great selection on glasses. My son loved the optometrist. She explained the exam results Very thorough. Our family will definitely be returning for our vision care at this location.

Pleasantly surprised, glasses done at this location a year ago and could not see well, new owners helped me with new lenses (HD) and now can see a whole lot better, frame choices were good for my budget. The staff here is very helpful and attentive to needs. My cataract surgery can now be put off for another year or two. Thank YOU!!!! The staffs at Pearle Vision were prompt, kind, and courteous during my visit for glass repair. I had accidentally lost the left nose pad on my glasses and dreaded coming in because I was worried that it would take quite some time for the repair. Thankfully, the opposite was true! They not only finished the repair quickly, but also triple checked to make sure that the glasses would sit perfectly. Again, thank you to the staffs that helped me out that day.

I purchased a pair of glasses and when I received them my left lense was scratched they ordered me new lenses and now that I went back when they changed them out my right lense was scratched So I asked if they could just swap the lense for the first one because it was fine and they were really careless about it and scratched the he** out of my lenses and I’m really upset about it this was the first and last time I’ll ever use this company for glasses. This place is a rip off if you want to be over charged than this place is for you. I called my insurance company and they said they cover almost all cost, when I went back the next day they would not work with me. I just wanted what the insurance company said I was owed. The staff is a mess, the manager has no experience in his duties. With the exception of jasmine who tried to easy the pain of being in this office I would have nothing good to say about it. Last year they did a good job but this new staff is awful. The new employees can make a bad experience even worst. I will tell everyone I know not to go there. Hopefully they learn to treat people with respect and learn how to do there job. I called my insurance company to let them know to take them out of our network and find a better place.

The services were perfectly fine until the rude and condescending Phillip got involved when I questioned the charges and how my 2 insurances were billed. He debated with me on what would be covered, I called my insurance, double verified that they covered everything and he still insisted he was right. I wanted to use my 2 vision insurances, one for glasses and the other for contacts. He proceeded to tell me that he didnt understand why someone would go in with 2 insurances trying to confuse everyone! He said one is enough! Mind you he was saying all this in a condescending and very rude tone. I could not believe how rude and unprofessional he was. I also witnessed him scolding one of the employees on the floor the day I went for my exam. He proceeded to degrade her so much she started to cry. Then he told her lets just go to the back! After seeing that I felt sorry for the girls in there, Im sure he treats all of them with little to no respect. After seeing that happen and then having the awful experience by phone with him, I was livid. I called Dr. Pacheco directly but was unable to get a hold of her twice. She will not return my calls to discuss the experience I had with Phillip. I nor the rest of family will be back there. I will also be contacting corporate to let them know about the location and how they treat their customers and their employees. I tried to let Dr. Pacheco know directly but obviously avoiding the issue is how they deal with things.

Dont listen to the 1 star reviews where people dont understand their insurance coverage. This place is the real deal. I went to 2 other shops before buying 4 pairs of glasses between 2 people at this Pearle on Menaul. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and had my insurance company on the phone within 5 minutes of arrival to iron out the kinks caused by the optometrist who issued the prescriptions. The prices here are FANTASTIC. I have never seen these kinds of prices on top brand frames before. Even if you wanted a pair of non-script sunglasses, skip the mall and sunglass hut and go straight to Menaul. I will be back.

Ive been there before and had a great experience. I went just yesterday and picked out some frames, which they happily saved for me, so I could come back today with my prescription. Thats when the review went to 1 star.Theyre supposed to open at noon, its nearly one and the door is still locked. The woman greeted us while the man didnt. Long story short, hes not happy to be there on a Sunday, they dont get customers, and even his son was crying that his dad had to go to work and miss his First Communion classes at church. He cant seem to find my coverage and says something about thats another bad thing about being open on Sunday is they cant reach insurers.I may have to go back bc I know one guy shouldnt sully the whole place but man!

I originally purchased my Versace eyeglasses and two pairs of Oakley prescription sunglasses. I usually purchase from LensCrafters and had thoroughly explained what I wanted. I need the demo lenses for the Oakleys and the prescription lenses. I spent over $1500 at that time everyone was super helpful and more than willing to help me including the so called manager. After waiting for a long time the Oakleys didnt come with the demo lenses as promised and i had to wait over a month for them well they figured out how to do it. i also purchased the eye protection on these glasses. I specifically stated I wanted the Oakley Twoface and Holbrook models which I received. 2 to 3 weeks after my original purchase I took in my brand new Dolce and Gabanna glasses to have them put my moms prescription in them. I paid for the purchase and we were on our way. The original prescription was the wrong one for either of us it was original over prescribed so I could never wear them. After she received them back they had damaged one of the sides. She called them and they said it is impossible because they inspect the glasses before sending them. She went into the store to see the inspection for herself since the lady never did one when we dropped them off and they could not find it. They will call her when they do. Which never happened. She has called them and they are still looking for it and the store is busy so may take time. This store is not that busy. Less than a month after I finally received my Twoface glasses I went in because my demo lenses and the frames were scratched by my son. I was told at that time demo lenses are not covered by the warranty but the frames are. They placed the order, I paid, and was on my way. I received a call that Oakley does not have them in stock and it will take time to get the frame. After the frame came in almost a month later. I was told that they can not cover my Oakley Twoface because the ones sent to them are Oakley Twoface XL and they are different. WTF. I purchased these glasses from you waited forever to receive them did not complain when you lied about the demo lenses and scrambled to get them and now your saying I have to pull a magic frame out of the air to get my glasses fixed with an insurance I purchased. The so called manager had the nerve to tell me that they do not have Oakley Twoface in their system only Twoface XL so it is not possible I purchased the Twoface model. Really? I will never purchase anything from here again! I recommend going to LensCrafters even if it costs more at least they know what they are doing and have excellent customer service skills. I have spent over $2000 every year with them for over ten years and never had this issue. No wonder why there is only one Pearle Vision store in Albuquerque. They are horrible. Do not go here. You have been warned.

Somethings wrong with Phillip Pacheco, owner and husband of Dr. Sharon Pacheco.My wife had an appointment to get an eye exam there today.We have a careington discount card and she wanted to use it. The receptionist didn’t know how to access the discount portion for her. She asked for assistance for Mr. Pacheco but he came from off of his chair and was mad that he had to help her. He rudely told her, “If she’s not in there she’s not in there. I don’t have time to waste on her.” Mind you that this is her first time going to any Pearle Vision.Without incriminating myself And not say what I was going to do to Mr. Pacheco today, I chose to stay away from the store and call the authorities, call corporate - Luxottica, and report them to Careington who has listed them as a participating provider which is why she went there.Long story short, the card says for the provider to call the member services number. He refused and said he doesn’t do that. He then threatened her to leave or else he would call the police. He went crazy and started yelling in front everyone degrading her. He yelled, “If you don’t like the way I run my business then get the hell out!”She got her things and then left. Here is the reason for the calling authorities. Mr. Pacheco, after she left the store began to follow her saying that he was going to hurt her before the police got there.He was so fat that he couldn’t catch my wife but the crazy thing is that he chased her for 2 blocks and then finally had to stop because he was out of breathe.From the reviews that I’ve read on Mr. Pacheco’s Tyranny, is sadly what will be the demise of Ms. Sharon Pacheco’s practice. He is a perfect example of what a manager/owner should not be.And following, off property a new customer for 2 blocks threatening to bodily harm to someone is just outrageous.Mr. Pacheco will get his day soon. Feel really sorry for Mrs. Pacheco because he’s probably abusive and controlling to her.If you want problems with insurance or discount cards then this is the place to go. All others go to a reputable eye clinic. I’m sure Pearle Vision won’t be happy about this either since he’s a black mark on their brand.

I went in to get my prescription sunglasses tightens and Pearl Vision cracked the lenses.I was told they would replace my sunglasses, even though they were purchased elsewhere. They were never replaced.My intentions were simply to get an adjusted, unfortunately I walked away with cracked lenses.

They told me my glasses would be ready by Thursday. I specifically told them I was leaving on that Saturday and I needed them by then. They assured me that they would be ready by Thursday and when I went there they were NOT ready. They told me that they would come next day Friday. Supposedly the lady checked the shipping information and it said estimated delivery on Friday. I went there on Friday and they were NOT ready either. Now they told me is going to be ready by next Wednesday and that theyre going to ship it. Theyre a bunch of liars and unreliable people. I wouldve known this I wouldnt had ordered them.Beware.
