My family has been going here for many years and have always felt a family feel with them. Last month, my son’s frames began to separate where the lenses sit. I didn’t get to call it in and ask about the warranty due to a family emergency. When I called last week I was informed that the warranty had expired. Ab, the longtime employee that is always kind and has a smile, said he would contact the manufacturer to see if he could get them to replace the frames. He got it done!! The best place to get family eye care by far!!

I had a great experience! When I arrived and called to let them know I had arrived Jessica was very pleasant. When they were ready for me the technician called me and met me at the door and checked my temp before entering the office he was very professional and friendly and before preforming the pre-testing he would explain what was going to happen so there were no surprises. I had an appointment with Dr Morgan and she was very friendly and professional and game me a thorough exam. After the exam I was escorted from the ram room to the reception desk and was asked if I was interested in new glasses, which I was not at this particular time. Again he was also very friendly and pleasant, sorry I cannot remember his name. Overall my experience was a very pleasant one and would highly recommend this practice. I am a licensed optician and have been in the industry for 36 years and stickler for good customer service and they did a great job!

Excellent place! Highly knowledgeable, clean, friendly! The tech Brian was very informative and helped me get an excellent pair of glasses, making sure the glasses fit my face type, comfortable, and also making sure I look good! Dr.Monte was extremely good. She explained things clearly and politely, very professional! Will most definitely continue to going for all my eye exams and adjustments.

I really liked the staff, the environment, but I learned that trying to contact them was a very big issue. I know they aren’t that busy. When I went in to the office, everyone was on their cell phones anyways. obviously too busy to answer my call. All I’m wanting to do is pay my bill!

I suffered a total mac off retinal detachment in one eye. After 2 retinal surgeries and cataract surgery, my vision was still distorted, blurry, and depressing. I needed correction at all distances. I tried the conventional corrections; glasses, regular and bifocal, with and without prisms, gas permeable as well as scleral contact lenses, but nothing worked to give me a satisfactory correction. Then I found Dr. Tiffany Martinez who fitted me with Ortho-K lenses, and I haven’t looked back since. I have worn my Ortho-K lenses for several months now and I absolutely love them! They have given me the best overall quality of vision. I wake up every morning with clear vision, and I only need glasses for reading. While my vision is not as crisp as it used to be with glasses, my eyes feel relaxed, and my vision is clear 24/7. I have been able to resume all my regular activities, and I no longer feel depressed. My monofocal IOL in the injured eye had a very limited range of clear vision beforehand, the Ortho-K lenses have greatly increased the range of clear vision. Dr. Martinez designs the Ortho-K lenses herself, they are worn at night, and they reshape the cornea while sleeping. In the morning they can be removed. I no longer worry about dust getting in my contact lenses during the day. The Ortho-K lenses are color coded, so it’s easy to tell them apart, and the insertion and removal tools make putting them in and taking them out a breeze. I have dry eyes and can insert the lenses with eye drops to help lubricate my eyes while wearing the lenses. These Ortho-K lenses were an investment, but Dr. Martinez offers a payment plan that has made it feasible for me to purchase them. For the improved quality of vision, they are worth every penny. Dr. Martinez and the staff at Eyes of New Mexico have all been very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Dr. Martinez seems to have state of the art technology. The practice has the best system for sanitizing the rooms that I have seen at a doctor’s office during this pandemic. I never hesitated to go in for my fittings and always felt safe. I highly recommend Dr. Martinez and the Ortho-K lenses for anyone who is seeking an improved quality of vision.

Two stars for the staff. The doctor was awesome and very caring and knowledgeable, let me say that first, no issues with the doctor. The staff on the other hand is meh. I ordered glasses March 12th and paid $130 for them, I’ve called twice and the first time they said they would send me an email about the status of them and never got an email, the second time they said they would have the doctor call me back and nothing. I can’t see very well and that’s why I ordered the glasses and gave them my frames and now? Nothing. I’ll go back for the exams but I’ll never order frames, or lenses from them again. Horrible experience and not following up with me or showing any kind of ownership for the issue is awful service from the staff.*update 06/24/2021, I’ve heard nothing in response to what I experienced, but they were nice enough to slap me with a $180.00 bill after the fact for an exam, after I specifically asked if I was going to get a bill. I’m looking for a new optometrist. I’m over this place. Let me just say that if they did a good job, I would say so. This is a management issue or lack there of.

Everyone that helped my mom and I during our eye exams were extremely kind and helpful. They also do a great job keeping their patients safe by keeping their facility sanitized between patients. Shout out to Kevin and Brian for making us feel welcome and well taken care of. The Provider was also very kind and was happy to address our questions.

I am near sighted and have very poor eye sight. -4 and -3.75; after spending over $500 for glasses and contact lenses, I was given 4 days worth of trial daily contacts. And I had to pester for even that. I had to reuse the old contacts and they ended up drying out my eyes. After 3 weeks I finally got my glasses and they had air bubbles under the UV protection layer. I had to smooth/iron them out myself. I would not recommend going here.

Dr. Martinez and staff at Eyes of New Mexico are outstanding. They are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. My appointments are not hurried and time is allowed for questions and explanations by the doctor as to why various treatments may or may not be needed. All of my appointments have been very pleasant and informative. Excellent team work.

Our experience here was excellent! I brought my 3 year old in for a second opinion because I was disappointed with my visit with a different pediatric eye doctor in the area. Dr Martinez was fantastic. She thoroughly explained what was going on, what our options were. I didnt feel rushed in the least bit. She was friendly and thorough and good with my child.I met with Dr Molinar for myself right afterwards. She was fantastic too. The entire staff was extremely friendly, not the least bit pushy, explained options, honest, and just overall great. Ill definitely return when we need eye appointments in the future.

Great place!Went during COVID, very clean and felt safe. People are fantastic and feels like family, the doctor is amazing and didn’t give me grief about not wearing my glasses when I was younger! The sales rep for your glasses shows you all your options but let’s you make the decision in the end, I spent about 500$ for the eye exams (didn’t have to dilate my eyes) great frames and lenses with no insurance. Was in and out in about 30-45mins and I looked at frames. I would say you get what you pay for but I still feel like I got a good deal!Thanks y’all!!!!

The entire staff was kind and explained everything perfectly!! Dr Morgan took the time to explain my eye health and also was quick to say that if my new contacts aren’t perfect we can make adjustments until I’m satisfied! I appreciated the fact that I didn’t feel rushed through my exam and that you got the sense they really care for their patients. Nick and Abe also did a great job of making me feel welcomed. Abe took time to ensure I picked out glasses that I was happy with.

We love Eyes of New Mexico! Dr Martinez and her entire staff are so very kind and professional. From scheduling to check in to the actual exams. Brian and Alex are awesome with my kids and always remember the individual things about them. Their office was clean and sanitized and there was a hand washing station and hand sanitizing gels. Would highly recommend !

I had a great experience here for a contacts exam and I was nervous being a first time wearer. The staff was patient while I struggled to learn to put my contacts in. The facility was clean and followed Covid procedures that made me feel at ease. The doctor and their staff were professional and easy going. The equipment they used for my exam also seemed very nice.

Called during the beginning of Covid-19 and they assisted me in getting an eye exam as quickly as possible. Use of my Vision insurance made it a flawless experience. Contact lenses came in a very timely manner even during this pandemic.

The staff is always friendly. They go over everything in a very detailed manner, which I love. Dr. Martinez always takes her time with all of her patients and shows how much she cares for them.

They got me in quickly and gave me a good eye exam and prescription. The optician , nicknamed A-B, was especially helpful when I stepped on my glasses, nearly ruining them.

Fantastic visit for myself and grade school child. The doctor and optometrist were kind and helpful. I especially appreciated the no pressure process on buying frames and lenses. I was asked my budget and provided tips for frames for a better fit over time.

My wife and I both use the Docs at Eyes of NM, and they are great. Both Docs are wonderful people and very caring and attentive. The staff is very friendly and nice as well.

We brought my five year old here after a not so great experience at a different optometrist....and I couldn’t be happier that we did! Staff was excellent and patient with her, and Dr Martinez was great. The office is very clean and they take all the necessary precautions with COVID. So happy we made the change.

I have never seen that level of expertise combined with that same level of compassion. Dr. Martinez spent a lot of time with me, explaining my results and my options. Never once did I feel rushed or hurried. Dr. Martinez and her staff gave me hope for a solution to my current eye problems. I could not recommend them enough. Every aspect from booking my appointment, checking in, exam, checking out, and follow up was outstanding. 10/10!!!

This was my first eye exam in about 10 years and the entire staff was friendly, accommodating, and the whole facility was very clean with all the new tech! I don’t have insurance so things cost a bit more but I found it well worth the price for quality. Went ahead and got glasses in house there as well.

Overpriced and sales driven. I am in sales I walked in for my childs 1st appointment and while checking in and overhearing the conversation with another customer and employee next to me I could tell immediately they are sales people. Then the sales attempt was tried on me and proved my suspicion. Also, after I was told over the phone our dual insurance was accepted there and made the appointment. Once the bill arrived in the mail that wasnt entirely accurate. I attempted several times to work out what one of our 2 insurances wasnt either submitted to or fully applied to the balance and never received a full answer from their staff. I eventually just wanted to be done with it and paid the bill and wont be returning. I will say the Dr. and the staff who did my child eye tests on our couple visits were caring, patient, and good with kids that is the only reason I gave 2 stars.

Great staff!!! All of them were so helpful and patient with my 7 yr old son. It was his first eye doctor appointment...Dr. Monte was wonderful! I too wear glasses and plan to make Dr. Monte my eye doctor as well.

From the social distancing practices to the active disinfecting observed during my appointment, my whole visit felt comfortable and safe. Dr. Martinez and her team were very thorough in their preparation and during my exam. I much appreciate the welcoming environment in the ENM office.

I went in for an eye exam today, and Eyes of New Mexico has done an incredible job adjusting to the new norm. Every staff member was incredibly conscious of personal space and it is obvious from the time you walk in they are taking every measure to have a clean and safe space. But, they were also friendly and professional. AB helped me pick out glasses and offered to let me take the frames outside to take pictures or look in the mirror “un-masked”. I have double eye insurance and he worked to make sure I was getting the most out of the coverage for the glasses I picked out. He was also fun to work with, he knows what he’s talking about and the products they deal with. I didn’t feel pressured and he gave me plenty of time to pick my glasses with good insight about the quality of frames and the differences from brand to brand. Buying glasses is an investment and he treats it as one. I had a great experience today and am so grateful they are also a locally owned business, all around a great experience.

Our 12 year old son has seen Dr. Garcia Martinez over the past four years. This year his science teacher sent an email asking for us to have his vision tested. We did so and the entire team from check in, testing, scheduling, Dr. visit and fitting were so professional, kind and fun. They took time every step of the way so that Dylan could understand the process and to answer any questions. Also, to discuss options. So very impressed and pleased! A great experience!

My daughter is 4 yrs old, so trips to the doctors office can often be a challenge. However, our experience at Eyes of New Mexico Optometry was very pleasant. The staff were very patient and helpful. They were very considerate of my daughters comfort level, while still being able to run the tests they needed. Dr. Martinez was wonderful. She gave us a clear understanding of my daughters vision at this time and what to watch out for in case things change. Dr. Martinez and her assistant had many ways to assess my daughters vision, so that she was able to provide them feedback without reading off a letter from the standard eye chart. Although my daughter already know her letters, she is very shy, so getting her to provide feedback is not always easy. Rather than call out letters/shapes, she was able to just point at what shape she was seeing, which made her more comfortable. The whole experience was very easy and stress free. I highly recommend this office for families.

I have taken my son to see Dr. Martinez at Eyes of NM ever since he was a toddler, he is now 6 years old. She is extremely patient with him and makes sure to explain to him everything she will be doing. She is wonderful at answering any question he may have in a way that he can understand. She also makes sure that I am aware of any changes she is seeing or things to look out for with his eye care. The staff has also done an amazing job with him getting him checked in and making him feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr. Martinez at Eyes of NM.

The expertise and kindness that all in the clinic show is beyond amazing. I have battled dry eyes and MGD for years and lipiflow has been recommended from my optometrist here is Las Cruces for as long time. When I called and made my appointment Brian was very accommodating and knowledgeable.Dr. Morgan was super understanding, thorough and very meticulous in her explaination of treatment options for my condition. If I lived in ABQ I would only go here.My entire experience was wonderful. If you need a wonderful eye doctor look no further.

They are very good at what they do they found out some issues that I was not even aware of they are very helpful and very good I would recommend them to anyone and they are affordable even when a d if your insurance does not cover it

Bought glasses, they were ready in about 10 days, but when I went to pick them up the frames were broken clean through. 4 weeks later, and after calling a few times, the new ones are ready to ship. Not an enjoyable experience as far as glasses were concerned. There were never any updates for the replacement pair during the 4 weeks of waiting, and it was up to me to reach out several times before I learned the status. Still havent received the replacements though, and the original purchase date was now six weeks ago. Im posting this because it seems to be a reoccurring problem that Eyes of NM has, and not a single incident

I dont usually give 5 stars to anything and I especially dont give a positive reviews so quick but I was in their office yesterday after noon (2-28-20)for dry eyes and I a am super impressed by the way the staff treated me. They made sure to let know know what exactly they were doing to my eyes and then the dr explained everything to me, listened to all my concerns and felt like they truly cared for my eyes and condition and I left happy that I finally was told what was going on and felt a huge weight life off my shoulders knowing I was gonna be getting treatment. Thank you.

AB was very helpful and friendly. He made sure we understood the product for the enchroma glasses and was very patient throughout the whole process. The whole staff also made sure we felt safe and confortable during the COVID challenge.

That front staff is very friendly and checked me into my appointment quickly. They were there to answer any questions. Both me and my daughter see Dr.Martinez. I’ve been taking my daughters here for 2 years, and we LOVE all of the staff. Bryan and Crystal have always been amazing with my daughters, and Dr. Martinez is very patient and friendly. They are always informative and up to date with recent technology and treatments. My oldest does Ortho-K which means we are there often. I have never had a problem scheduling or with waiting long while at the office. I will absolutely keep referring friends to this office.

The staff was really friendly and professional. I was happy until I picked up my glasses and realized something was wrong. I got dizzy when I turned and vision was blurred especially distance vision. I went on a 2 week vacation and could not drive with glasses on. I called and was asked to bring glasses in to check. They then scheduled an appointment for another exam. I got a new prescription with no apology or compensation. Needless to say I will not be back.

Place was clean and very friendly staff. Was taken back right away but did have to wait almost 30 minutes for the doctor to speak with me. Doctor was very thorough. Best part was after the exam we sat down and a gentlemen by the name of AB helped me pick out glasses down to earth kind of guy but I knew his stuff when it came to glasses, also was very patient. I recommend this place to everyone one and make sure you ask for AB when it comes to helping you out with glasses .

My mother has been looking for someone to take care of her eye needs for awhile now. Her last eye doctor really made my mom feel like she was a burden and she was left sad and disappointed. Doing some research, we found Eyes of NM through all the great reviews; they weren’t wrong. Everyone was professional and friendly, as soon as we walked through the door. The tech was patient and kind with my mom, as English is her second language and she had never been through such a great exam, it was all new to her. Tiffany Martinez was warm and kind, she broke down everything they did for my mom and really assured us that everything was going to be taken care of for my mom. Highly recommended.

Dr Hands is very knowledgeable and professional. The staff was great, especially Brian. I am a first-time contact lens wearer and he was very helpful in assisting me. I returned a few days after my appointment to try a different brand of contacts and Dr Hands listened to my needs and found the best lens for me. I am very satisfied and will continue to see them.

I specifically took time off of work to get my contacts from them this morning. Given their website shows they open at 8:30am, I showed up at that time. However they were not opened yet, understood they could be having a slow morning. I gave the benefit of the doubt. I waited until 8:50 a.m. and they were still not open! Complete waste of time! I work, 830 to 5 Monday through Friday, so now I have to take time off again for the second attempt. Hopefully, theyre open as advertised.
