They cant keep employees at this store. They have had 3 new managers in the last 4 months and they all quite. The stock is never put out and always stacked on rolling carts in the aisle. I have literally had to open boxes to find what I need. Current manager just told me there is 3 trucks worth of stock stacked to the ceiling in the back room. And the reason they dont open until sometimes 11 or later on Saturday and last week they never did open on Sunday is the manager is working 60+ hours a week and she said she had to open store late so she could work on putting stock out. I asked how much they pay she said $10 bucks an hour. Look I told her other places are starting at $13 and up. Unless they raise the pay there not going to get anyone.

They always have what I need! And their hours are perfect.

They are always closed when they listed as being open.

Suppose to be open at 8am but often I come between 10-11 and they are closed, lights off.

I love shopping here. They have most of anything that I need in a hurry, conveniently close, and with the remodel, mych easier to shop.

Staff was good. The store is unbelievably cold! always as if corporate doesnt care about there workers... Also, very dusty.

The manager at this store is very very rude. I have been going to this store since 2014, as have my senior neighbors for a long time. Since they put the new manager in about 2 years ago slowly we have all stopped going there. Its sad because our senior apts. are right down the street. You can tell what kind of company this is if their managers have no clue about customer service.

This store is decent. Never seems to be busy. Shelves and aisles are not cluttered. Im just bummed that the Family Dollar on Joy closed. Now I need to drive out of my way to shop.

I go in there quite often because I work locally around there and every time I come in its hit or miss with the people. But there is a black male that does work there that I cant seem to win over as a customer. The funny thing is Im trying to give him good service but he could care less about giving me good service. When Im caking out, he talks to other people and ignores me. And he was talking about working there and being a manager and how stressful it was and just degrading store. I was just in there yesterday and he rung me up twice and grunted at me. Did not ask any questions, didnt say good afternoon.....Nothing! not even a thank you.... just two grunts. If your associate, Tyrone, doesnt like working there then he shouldnt. Ive gone elsewhere based on his attitude. He is extremely rude and I hate when hes there because I feel like Im bothering him. Therefore I just wait and go to another Family Dollar or I visit a Big Lots. Tyrone makes me not want to come in there and for all the hard work you guys do you may be losing a customer because he could care less about his job and makes it very apparent. And when he checks his phone when Im there and doesnt say hello welcome to Big Lots that really upsets. I bought a car charger from this place, I wasnt sure if it would fit my phone. They offered me to open the box and try it on my phone even before buying it. Staff was good and helpful.

Young lady working register was just as pleasant and friendly as family! Clean store, good employees, great prices!

Always check freezer food as well as any other food you purchase here.Alot of it is expired and kept on the shelves.Sleeveless shirts should not be aloud in a work place,makes it look very unprofessional youre at work not at home.trainees should be trained early in the morning to avoid the hassle of making customers wait.this place needs better management.

Tyrone, the store manager, if thats true, has the worse Customer Service skills I have experienced in many years. On Oct 19th, I went to do my household shopping, and noticed the music was loud and seemed inappropriate (Bobby Womack If you think your lonely now) (Janet Jackson Control). Ive shopped here 9yrs and have never encountered that level of loudness and that sort of content being played. Once my items were rung up and I entered my phone number for coupons, there was a problem with not all the coupons being applied. I ask if he knew what the problem was and he said Nope, I dont know what you want me to do. After he didnt offer anything except attitude and rudeness, I decided not to purchase anything. I drive 2 minutes down Wayne Rd to CVS where I enjoyed the my shopping experience. Please retrain this guy or send him somewhere else, as I will not return to this store.

Terrible selection of items. Store is always filthy. Compared to other family dollar stores, this one brings the brand down.

I never shopped other than big box (hardware, food, etc.), till I went to Family Dollar. Ill admit this isnt high dollar, high end shopping, but when I needed a product like Mederma (for scars I had from surgery), went to CVS ($36), Kroger ($18), and Family Dollar ($1.50) I learned my lesson. Quick items (food, cleaning, paper products), get past the cost for advertising and youll find this place isnt bad, and in some cases very good. Also, put some money back in your pocket. I recharge my debt cards here, no charge. RiteAid wanted $3.50 per transaction.
