I dont know what happened to this place but it got boring. I hear the one in 12 Oaks is way better. More selection.

Great place for people who like music, action movies/ heroes and characters. Although the store is small they maximize the space well. Prices are ok, great if you can catch a sale. I would recommend this place but I personally would need a tad more lighting. Its a little too dark to be so small. Other than that cool place. Employees always greet you and ask if you need assistance. I usually find great gifts for ther hubby here.

Gothic is on the rise for this store. I didnt like the cheap quality of clothes lines they have.

Hot Topic Westland did not have what I want it not a shirt cup or earrings went to Fairlane didnt have a cup I needed so maybe they need to get some new stuff but other than that its a pretty good store

Great place to get alternative clothing and anime merch! even though its small, they utilize the space well.

I actually wanted to give ZERO stars but since that isn’t optional, one star it is (rolls eyes)My very first time in Hot Topic was the worst. Unpleasant and unprofessional at its finest!The worker Crystal definitely need to work from home because her working with the public would definitely put a well known business like this one in jeopardy! She needs more training and a better personality. I will never visit this location ever.....

I call this the good guitar center. Never have I been there and someone hasnt asked to help. Its nice when a business wants your business.

The Pride section is non-existent and the store was very picked over. Disappointing.

Never had an issue with this place. I take my kids here for anime and pop culture swag all the time. Had Christmas gifts to return today and was in and out in minutes. People are great and friendly.

Hadnt been back in over 5 years, glad to know this store has stood the test of time. Jay (the employee on duty) was great with my questions and even gave me a courtesy call when I forgot one of my pins. All in all, a great experience!

Great store in a not so great location. Ive always felt that the Westland mall is on the verge of closing down because there are always very few people in the mall. However this works to your advantage when coming to stores like hot topic because they always have some great deals here!

I miss the old hot topic. Where are the skulls? Everything is Disney or some show or cartoon. The goth clothes, or dark clothes are few and far in between. Every now and then Ill come across an original product.

Hot Topic is a great store, I love the Graphic Tees and all the fun things they sell in this store. Im giving them 3 stars because I earned something called Hot Cash where they give you 15 dollars on every 30 and you can spend them during a certain time frame, well I earned 2 of them. I went to go use them and was so frustrated with my bill and had to keep asking the cashier to take things off because you cant take advantage of sales when using hot cash, I think that is ridiculous. Im sure its written in the tiny black print that you can mix hot cash with sales, but who reads that? They should make it clear when you get the Hot Cash or better yet let you take advantage of sales. Hopefully, in the future they make this great program better because I became so frustrated that I just left the everything I was gonna but and walked out not even caring about using the hot cash anymore.

They had a clearance sale that was by 2 items on clearance and get two items of clearance free. What a great savings. Plus we got coupons for next month.

Eh. Hit topic used to be the spot. I got all my accessories from there. Im too old for hot topic now I guess. Its just a bunch of almost mainstream stuff and some random older band tshirts now. Idk. Online is better.

Every time I come into this store Im always greeted with friendliness. Ive never had a bad experience shopping here. Or any Hot Topic store for that matter. Youre doing it right Hot Topic.

This was my favorite store at 14 years old. Its my favorite store at 31. Thats a long time to maintain a favorite store, so what does that tell you?

If you are looking for anime, pop culture or music items this is the place to go. Lots of clothing, jewelery and accessories and my kids love the anime and funko pop selection. Staff here is nice and willing to help if you dont know what you are looking for.

Every hot topic usually has good sales but this one always has a bunch to choose from and I really appreciate that.

The worker there were very helpful. They had exactly what my daughter wanted.

Seriously lacking in the mens pants... Like one color. Where are my skinny jeans in red, blue, purple, striped, camo, etc. ??? Oh, and a lack of Bowie. Other than that. ❤

Cashier girl was quite rude!! Both my daughters like this store and I will absolutely not be going back to this location! This same girl has checked us out previously and was pretty snotty and rude as well. Guess I shouldnt have interrupted their conversation by making the one actually do her job as I had to interupt them and ask to even pay for something then she was just straight up rude!!

My daughter loves going there she found two cute backpacks . She also found cute stuff for her room.

An ok place to go to. What made me really uncomfortable was that one of the employees were staring at me and following me around like I was about to steal something.

Demo Tide you forgot the mention that you werent following store policy about wearing your mass properly you also let yourself in the store going through the stores barrier thats there to keep a limit on the customers we have in the store in accordance with covid policies
