What can I say, a variety of cookie dough flavors and optional toppings?! Serving size even for a small cup can feed two people. Great staff and a vibrant decor. Would definitely come back for more when we’re in the Georgetown area. :)

$40??? Certainly I expected ordering cookies from a specialty shop would be more expensive. However, I could not have been more disappointed. The cookies looked like they were made by middle schoolers and decorated by little kids. There was nothing special about the flavors, size (so small!), or the textures(not to mention the presentation!) that would have justified $4.00 per cookie. Not only will I never order from them again, I will also continue to make sure I caution others about how taken advantage of I feel receiving such a terrible product. Cannot imagine they will stay in business long. Picture included. So bad.

Super nice staff. Patient in explaining their menu. Unique desserts taste great. Little on the pricey side and a bit far from anywhere where you can sit and enjoy your dessert but otherwise a gem.

I might give it a 3-star if it were the only dessert option in the middle of nowhere, but there are many better options on this street if you have a sweet tooth (french bakeries, italian bakeries, ice cream shops, etc.).I got the monster dough. It was missing something. I cant put my finger on it, but no where near the non-stop craving my own cookie dough gives me.

Really delicious! The cookie dough tasted much yummier and fresher than store bought, ordered the chocolate chip peanut butter cookie dough and ate more of it than planned! Chocolate chip cookie and the brownie are amazing- hard to eat just one.

Great edible cookie dough! Overpriced, but to be fair they are located in Georgetown, and the jars are in a nice glass container you can re-use. Can’t expect them to be able profit and also pay off rent if they lowered their prices! At first I freaked because I thought the portion was tiny, but you realize you get more out of it when you taste the richness of the dough. I can definitely see this place thriving in a few years, and Georgetown is the perfect place to have it

As a family favorite we found Dough Jar via their AdMo pop up years ago! It’s been THE big hit for our kid’s birthdays the last two years and we purposely over buy so we have some fresh in the fridge! I am So excited to see this business flourish by opening their brick and mortar! Stopped by Saturday for our birthday party favors and absolutely love the space and location. If you’re a local, you know the DJ. If you don’t, welcome to the dough side 🖤

They just opened, but you wouldnt believe it. The staff is friendly. Their inventory and process is well organized. They have a broad menu, including some partnerships with other local businesses. The dough is rich, but delicious and not too sweet. I definitely recommend it for a tasty afternoon treat or post-dinner dessert that hit the perfect sweet spot.

Really enjoyed my dough and ice cream combination tonight! A fluorescent bright coloured dessert outlet on the Georgetown high street. You can order delicious, safe cookie dough that can be paired with a range of other sugary sweets including brownies, cupcakes and toppings. Staff are very friendly and the opening hours are great. Unfortunately I think the dough could be a little cheaper and maybe dial back a little on the options focusing on the best doughie bits.

Visited the first week they opened while on Holiday in DC. Store further down from most the other store in the georgetown area but once you get there it is amazing. Many different cookie doughs and they also have a vegan cookie dough for those who would prefer that. You can add ice cream, sprinkles, cream and more to your order to make the best dessert ever. I absolutely loved it and you will too.

This is a poorly ran business both online delivery and in person. Has multiple locations. Dont order from any of them. Deliveries are always wrong with missing items and the dough tastes foul and spoiled.I tried this place months ago before the virus got out of control. The first jar I had I thought maybe it was just a bad flavor. I tried the fudge brownie my first visit. Recently my family decided to order from this place online and every single jar tasted disgusting plus we were missing a jar. We made our complaints through delivery and was refunded thankfully. Unfortunately my daughter ordered from this place again and again they forgot to include a jar for an order of only 3 jars. Refunded again through delivery services but when I called to talk to the manager about how the product is spoiled. She was extremely rude to me.This stuff is very nasty and does not have any expiration dates on the jars they send out. I advise not to order from such a place.

Awful experience. 2 Nutella Brownies and 2 cookie dough milkshakes. Is this some kind of a joke? We received two cups full of flavored milk with cookie dough at the bottom?! Who does that?! And the only tasteful thing about them was the soggy cookie dough. That’s pretty terrible for a whopping $13.50 which may I add if I used my money elsewhere right now I would be way more satisfied. I’ve gotten a liter of beer and a Weißwurst or a plate full of Poutine before for similar amounts of money. The brownies were good though but I was really looking forward to those milkshakes and it really dampened my girlfriend and I’s mood. Thanks.

Nice options, my cookie dough was dry and the shake was just meh, especially for the price! Employee was using the iPad register for texting while 8 people were waiting. She was not friendly. Would have left if they had not started making the shake. I threw the dough in the trash.

I cant count how many jars of cookie dough that I bought at farmers market. So I was so excited that the new shop finally opened! The variety of vibrant and fun cookie dough flavors and colorful waffle cones tickled my curiosity. The shop carries more flavors that the ones sold in jars - there are 8 flavors of dough. Even as a sugar feign, the sample was enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. A burst of sugar in every bite. The cookie dough is so decadent and rich that I couldnt imagine having an entire scoop of it in one sitting. I would love to share it with a few friends or buy the jar.Amid the sugar galore and colorful treats, I opted for the Brookie. It was a sprinkled sugar cookie baked with Nutella. Although I enjoyed it, I wish it was more gooey, fudgy, and moist. I was tempted to buy a jar, but held out for ice cream later.Fun to try and would come back for a small jar. Great novelty place to bring friends!

My good friend Gruden Phillips absolutely loves your establishment. He gets it at least 6 days a week! He took me the other day and he had such a good relationship with the staff and manager (They even asked about his dogs)!! Gruden got a delectable triple scoop of chocolate chip with gummy bears on top. The Dough Jar is infinitely better than Sweetgreen.
