These guys get heat because of company regulations but the guys there are freaking awsome, huge thankx to Preston. The store is small but well maintained and they are usually stocked.

Stood outside for 30 minutes waiting for the place to open (as were about 5 other people) then gave up and went home. I prefer to buy things locally to support the store but I guess Im going online instead.Give 2 stars instead of 1 because the one time I was able to go into the store, the guy who worked there was friendly and helpful.

Preston is a delight, he greets every customer with a smile (behind his mask) and hearty welcome. Hes quite knowledgeable about his stock and is happy to engage with new players and veterans alike. We love going to Games Workshop!! The manager Alex is awesome. He always makes us feel at home and never minds my daughter coming to the store and hanging out while we participate in a table top game! He makes sure it’s a family friendly place!!The store is always well stocked and employees always nice and helpful!!

Man o man. My son and I decided to deep dive into the world of 4Ok. We stepped foot into the the gamesworkshop andwe were given so much helpful info. before we knew it, an hour had passed. Emperor save my soul, we cant wait to go back.

You know what? I was convinced after reading all these reviews that this Preston guy paid all of his friends to leave a review. I. Was. Wrong!When I walked in this guy had, probably, 6 other people in the store but he still greeted me with (what I assume bc of the mask) a smile. When it came to my turn he took his time and explained everything to me that I needed, made some recommendations without being overly pushy, and continued to check on me when I shopped around. 10/10 would recommend this store for any fan of the hobby.

I wish I could give more stars. Preston is amazing. He took his time to get to know me and my lack of skill set. He walked me through a demo for almost 2 hours and it was amazing. Never pushed anything or price. The people in the store are friendly and the environment is the greatest to learn and see what is available. I cannot believe I painted something so cool. He gives pointers and helpful hints and never an ounce of pressure. If you want to start and are a total noob, this is the place. Props to Preston passion. I look forward to painting and starting my new hobbie.

This store is so cool. Demo tables, painting stations, lots of different army types available..BUT the truly amazing part of this store is Alex. He came out from the back when I came in and offered to do a demo game with me to show me the ropes (Im new to the scene). His friendliness, positivity and excitement could convince anyone to give it a try. He was so energetic I felt myself getting pumped too. Definitely makes this store worth coming to and I cannot wait to come back. He even offered to let me paint a demo space marine to help me learn some techniques. Amazing! I am so glad we stopped in today!

First Attempt: Would’ve been nice to know they’re CLOSED MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS. So yeah, drove 30 minutes here and 30 minutes back for no reason. The hours are listed wrong online.Second attempt: Employees out to lunch. Fabulous. Ate lunch myself to pass the time.Third attempt: I found a well stocked store and a friendly employee. So that’s good.Final verdict: Call before you drive out.

Stores a little small, but the stock is good. Staff dont push the sale but will try and upsell you a bit, but they are alwaysbsuper respectful and helpful.

I decided to make my way to Games workshop. Followed their hours posted online. Turns out they are closed. I live 30 minutes away without traffic. With traffic it’s closer to an hour. Why have your business hours posted online if you just close or open on your own schedule.

My husband and I are getting into tabletop gaming, were interested in miniatures and learning to paint them. Alex greeted us as soon as were walked in and was very receptive to learning our levels and intentions. He was incredibly cordial without being overbearing. I will definitely be returning.

I dont, usually, write things on here but Regis was awesome. I am newer to the area, but the guy was easy to talk to and he was attentive to all the customers needs in the shop. Its employees like him that help grow this hobby and I am glad to have stopped by.

First and foremost this is a Games Workshop, and so you will find exclusively Games Workshop products. It doesnt have that many tables or hours to support long gaming sessions for all that many people. But for the type of store that it is the staff is very friendly and helpful, and as far as Games Workshop products go the range of stuff you can find there is extensive.

This place is really chill and fun. The manager is cool and helped me figure out what I needed to get my minis together.

Went to the store on Sunday 12/30 at 2:30pm. Employee asked us to leave, because he was hungry and needed to eat lunch.Went to Atlantis in Norfolk for excellent service and selection.

Fantastic atmosphere with a great selection and even examples on how people paint with competitions! Alex is the best, he gave us a game play run through (like actually playing) and then let us paint and take a figure home for free!

Ive only been here one time and the moment i walked in, i was greeted by a male employee... who i forgot his name, but he had the best attitude i have ever seen from a worker and really enjoyed the work that he does, i might have to one day get into the hobby. :)

One of the best places for your Warhammer fix. Alex the current manager is absolutely amazing. Great Champion for the hobby. Always great conversation and games available with other warhammer enthusiasts.

Fantastic atmosphere for the table top wargammer. Alex, the manager, and the majority of frequent customers are all friendly and willing to help in almost every area of the hobby. Everything from paint to army selection they have you covered for anything from the Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000 lines of products.

Generally Speaking I avoid GW Stores like the plague. One too many horror stories online about overly pushy sales folk, and my one experience prior to this one opening was one up north in a mall we stopped in on the way home from a visiting Family, was not pleasant... On to a standard good, meh, bad.Good:-Generally speaking if I want it they have it. Need a Random Textured paint? This Weeks White Dwarf interesting? A Box of (X) miniature They have it in stock 99% of the time. The Exception being GW Direct only items which you have to use the Webstore for.-I have never felt overly pressured while there. Sales staff try to make small talk which is their job and are as unobtrusive as possible. If you like talking about your project, most of the time who ever is there will be interested and have suggestions as to what to get, or techniques to use.- Easy to Navigate, GW Corporate got store layouts right. I go maybe once a month unless the WD is interesting and I never need help finding anything.Meh (Things that I have generally Neutral Feeling about but others may not):-Nothing of Note for this sectionThe BadAbout this store in particular I have nothing truly Negative to say beyond its a little....Cozy...Much like the rest of the internet I could rant and rave on the Company itself for hours, but that is not what this is about, its about this store in particular and how it functions and serves, and overall they do a good job.EDIT 2017:A complaint I have is the high turnover managers it seems. I get that things happen but due to infrequent nature of my visits it seems like there is always someone new. I often fear the last guy got canned because we talked about Warmachine/Hordes in the confines of the store and corporate had the place bugged.

Awesome place right by my aprtment. The person working there is always nice and helpful and very knowledgeable, helped me get what i need to make the basis of my army, didnt push me for sales but helped me get what i wanted and make a good decision on a purchase. Though the prices are high,but hey thats GW for ya! Great store,clean,just all around great.
