Great for items not found in regular grocery stores. I hear their little restaurant is good.

Theres a little restaurant in the back. Im eating my way through the menu. Everything has been great so far. When you come in, you serve yourself from beer and coke cooler. The opener is floating around on the counter somewhere, help yourself. When youre finished eating, you pay at the front counter. Fresh tortillas for sale in the cooler up front. Service staff is great. I moved here from South Texas; I know what Mexican food is supposed to taste like. (read, it aint supposed to taste like the popular local restaurant, Mi Pxxxxx). Great place

If I could give more stars I would!!! Ive been coming to the latin market for fresh tacos for years now. Ive never been dissatisfied. My fiance loves the restaurant, as well. The food is so authentic and delicious. The staff are some of the nicest people around. The restaurant is very clean. The store offers many goods as well. Thank you

Okay place to eat, the chicken taco meat was very plain, steak meat quality was poor, the burrito was white rice, black beans, and plain meat. This unfortunately has been the worst authentic experience that I have had. I came here on a recommendation on my review quest for the best tacos and this fell way way short. Staff was great and the location was very clean. You can tell when something was made with love and care and this was just warm convenience store quality. Go to Red Barn Market in Sarasota, FL El Tios is the best taco and quality I have had since being in Florida.

There are two types of foods Im passionate about - Latin food and hamburgers. My wife and I used to go to Mi Pueblo all the time, our favorite Mexican place to eat. I attempted to cook some Peruvian food on my own and needed some ingredients, so I searched the area and this place showed up. I saw they had a restaurant in the back of the store, so my wife and I decided to have lunch there. Our lives were forever changed, when it comes to Latin food, no exaggeration. The flavors, fresh ingredients, speed of service has no equal that Ive found.The Latin Market is the definition of a local hidden gem. If you like Latin food with a heavy Peruvian leaning (even if you dont), you have to give this place a try. Absolutely phenomenal, my favorite is the carnitas - the flavor...wow! I wish I could leave 6 stars.

This restaurant is a fraud. The Carnitas Seem to be boiled came very shredded and wet. Al Pastor meet iPad an old meat aftertaste to it. I have given this place many many tries but I will never come back. If you really want some Mexican food that is authentic truly authentic you want to try a Texaco station up the street in Sarasota. Although I know the name Of my recommended establishment it’ll be up to you to find it if you truly want la comida de mi abuelita.

Love this place. Manager/Owner is from Peru and has many pictures and art from his country. Brought back special memories from my trip there. The market is very well stocked and the restaurant in the back is a great place for tacos!

So good! This is like one step up from a taco truck. Not a sit down, good service kinda place. But if you want some amazing tacos, burritos, or quesadillas, this is where to go. The salsa is hot, btw.

Raoul is the owner and he has got something special with his small market and dining room. His Mom cooks and she is the secret. Her Tacos and Tostados are the best and her beans are delicious. How can anything be so tasty? We have eaten Mexican food all over and this man and his Mother are the best. Mom is from Peru and she uses some spices and flavors that are just so new and so fine. We are weekly patrons when in the area during the winter. We look forward to returning in January.

Very very over priced I spent 18 dollars just for myself to have dinner! I ordered 3 tacos, a side of rice and beans and ONE beer!!! I could have went to plaza Mexico down the street and had much more food and another beer for less than this place!!! The food sucked and the servers here are very rude and chiflada! Once I sat down she never came back to my table and she assumed I didn’t speak Spanish by talking about me to the table next to me. I assumed she didn’t much care for white people eatting here!!! Also the food is more Columbia than Mexican!!

Amazing delicious food. Freshly prepared and served with a warm welcoming smile. This is a gem in Venice. I never knew there was a small restaurant/bar in the back of this market. They made my daughter and me feel very welcomed. I truly wanted chicken flautas but opted for the homemade enchiladas and black beans with queso fresco! It was absolutely delish with fresh avocado slices on top. We really enjoyed our Sunday afternoon and we will be back. I highly recommend this little gem!❤️💁🏻🙏
