This is the worst experience I’ve had thus far. My order was supposed to be ready between 4-5pm but I never received any notification that it was ready. When I called the store just after 5pm, the line was busy so I called back multiple times. When prompted I hit 3 for grocery pick up. Finally someone answered but told me to call the grocery pick up number and gave me a different number. When I called and asked if my order was ready they said yes… I showed up shortly after at the store and waited another 10 minutes. Got home and found a package of baby cookies opened up and pouring out into the bag and another box completely ripped up. Called the store back and spoke to someone at grocery pick up who said they don’t have a manager around. Called the store AGAINS and spoke to the same woman who originally gave me the pick up number and said she’s been “trying to find a manager for 15 minutes and that they’re all eating supper or can’t be found” while laughing. She told me she didn’t know what to do then told me to hold on and just transferred me off somewhere else which after several minutes hung up on me!!!!!!

When I was greeted I was offed a mask... And was awesome.. clean bathroom ( mens). Friendly staff. Thank everyone at Walmart

Not one of Walmarts better stores. More warehouse than store, employees were unloading boxes and flats of canned goods which filled the aisles. Shelves were not at all full and in fact the yogurt section was fairly empty. Doesnt hold a candle to my experiences in MI and MN. . Contrast Costco which was full with no unpacking just like every other Costco!Will try another Walmart in the area soon.

Lots of good deals, friendly and very helpful employees here. This Walmart is one of the cleanest in the Country. Parking lot is clean and the shopping carts arent all strung out all over the place. After shopping we had a little picnic in the parking lot in the shade. The gas station has the cheapest fuel around too.

If you are suffering any upper respiratory infection stay away! There pics were taken just over the pharmacy and yes, that is black mold growing

Had an awesome experience had no idea Quest Labs was directly inside Walmart could not have been easier and faster service! Was able to get my lab work done and then pick up a few things for dinner!! Super nice cashier in and out literally in 15 minutes!

Everything about this restaurant screams relax and enjoy. The food is flavorful and plentiful. The drinks are rumtastic and they have a dog policy that makes everyone happy! Definitely a must eat place every trip to Venice. Try the calamari and Caesar salad, wash it down with a beach bum drink and watch the boats and dogs!

This store has easy access and parking. Its quite large so has Lots of inventory. Lots of fishing gear. Associates cheerful. Clean and bright. I drive a little further for this store but its worth it!

Completely out of pickleball racquets just like most of the other Walmarts in the area. You would think the managers realize alot of snow birds are arriving and want to play/try out pickleball!Did have a good price on tomatoes though.

Self checkout is the way to go!!! Have to wait 30 minutes to buy any trading cards cause they put the worse people behind the counter. The hell with this Walmart. To top it off they scalp the price if sports cards here vs other Walmarts.

It was my first time having a delivery service from Walmart the gentleman who brought my groceries was very kind extremely willing to help in any way possible. Very well groomed he also spoke English which was a bonus for me because I do have trouble with other accents most of all he was thorough, kind & ON TIME! HE MADE THIS EXPERIENCE GREAT!! So yes I will continue to enjoy the deliveries and all the other amazing things Walmart is offering.

Walmart Pharmacy Staff: 5 stars all around.This is the best Pharmacy Staff in all of Venice, FL. They are polite, friendly and courteous. They always greet me with a smile no matter how rude or disrespectful other customer might have been.This staff works very hard to take care of everyone with the same compassion and respect each person deserves. Pretty good place to service your vehicle, however a little pricey.

I mistakenly left a bag of groceries totaling about $40 at this store yesterday evening. I went back to this morning to see if I would still be able to get those groceries despite the fact that it was my mistake and ultimately my fault. The Customer Service desk was very pleasant and willing to work with me to fix my problem, and I was very pleased with the result. While I was standing there, I personally experienced what a tough job it is dealing with customers. Within just a few minutes two customers gave the employees a hard time. One complaining about the computer freezing up during their transaction and the other concerning a food product that they were not able to get a refund for since they paid cash and did not have a receipt, though they were offered a free replacement. Please give these people a break. They are not responsible for the smooth function of Walmarts computer system or for the mistake that you made even though you may want full personal satisfaction despite company policy. The Customer Service desk is truly willing to help you as best they can, but some things are beyond their control.

This store has not been well stocked for over a year. Wal-Mart stores in neighboring towns seem to be stocked. We use this store if we only have few items to purchase. Otherwise, we drive to Osprey.

Never in my life have I come across customer service employees who actually seem to be rude on purpose- until this store. Absolutely vile attitude on multiple occasions. Would rather go out of my way to shop at literally any other store rather than here.

Big store. Nothing is exceptional but you can generally find anything you need. The produce isnt anything to write home about. The clothes are acceptable for beach wear. Feels like a large convenience store thats not as convenient.

This walmart is well kept and clean, the staff is very helpful in finding things for you. The return policy is quick and convenient if you have a receipt. Its has adequate parking for bicycles and has a bus stop on U.S. 41 for the 17 bus for S.C.A.T.. Its visible from the road and is good for a quick stop and shop or to stock up on all your home needs.

Theres always something to buy in Walmart. They have such a huge variety of things! I was able to go grocery shopping, get some things from the household section, and some things in the personal care section! This is a one-stop shop!

The customer support desk, seems to CHOOSE the most unhappy, negative, ATTITUDE carrying employees to handle Customer support. They give off the impression that they ABSOLUTELY DETEST YOU.

Filthy, absolutely filthy and the shelves are a disorganized disaster. When I say filthy I mean mould on the AC ducts, and the mens room has an aroma that you normally associate with outhouses... Drive further south to Northport or up north to Sarasota... Avoid this dump.

No help at registers, only two open. Shelves need to be stocked. Frozen foods half defrosted by time I got checked out.

Worst walmart ever. The management is horrible. Instead of a simple fix theyd rather turn something into a huge deal and lose customers. I dont even know how these managers made it this far.

Typical supercenter with everything you would normally find in a well stocked Walmart. There are numerous self checkout lines so checking out was very simple. Produce and meat sections contain fresh looking vegetables and meats. Well stocked bakery. No complaints. Good shopping experience in sunny Florida.

I needed to get a gift card. There were so many choices to choose from. I highly recommend this walmart to find any gift card you need.

They have anything you could want here except for whatever I was looking for. Pretty rude employees, most shelves empty due to Christmas stocking the day after Halloween, and a super busy location. Being from the North, I always get a thrill to see the Garden Center open all year round. Certainly nothing to write home about.

Informed my friend, she checked online, only black color ear buds out of stock but Aqua color do have at this store. Wish employee say something about the color different but same ear buds. But employee is very very nice and patience, superb guy. Mask on. I go other things I need. I asked different employee, he said in hand signal go to that direction that Im looking for. Found it easy. Superb nice and patience employee too. Mask on. Reason why Post 4 stars. Only reason out of stock ear buds at the store and other store do have it but different color same ear buds, he said put of stock... happy found online and ordered for pick up .

Got my oil change done here.....they broke my oil pressure sensor. They didnt say sorry....and then told me I had to go to a repair shop to get it fixed.....i had to hassle them for them to recommend a repair shop........the whole thing was annoying. They did not make it easy. I just wanted an oil change....not a freaking egg hunt.

Walmart keeps the prices lower than Public and Winning Dixie. Even Dollar General and Save a Lot cists more than Walmart. Even Goodwill costs more than Walmart.THIS Walmart is just perfect, too. Liquor store, Casino pickup location, extra fast employees, no hassle returns... I mean, the list goes on. Take a bus and really Save-A-Lot at Walmart on Tamiami Trail in North Port, Fl.

A bit out of the way from where we stayed in Venice, but the trip there and back payed for itself. Having our own goodies to make lunch or late night snacks was worth it.

Always has something I need and some thing I think I need. Wish they would move away from the self check out lines and give a job or two to cashiers. They always only have one or two cashiers working forcing you to use the self checkout and losing that personal touch.

I shop online for my groceries. The Walmart app for grocery shopping is one of the best I have used. Since it remembers all of the things that you have ordered previously, grocery shopping becomes much easier. When you arrive to pick up your groceries theres no lengthy wait. The people who bring your groceries do your car are especially courteous and never will accept a tip. Its a safe way to shop during this pandemic.

Self check out alarms suggested missed scanned item, waiting for assistance, being charged twice for same item, required 3 employees to resolve issue and more than 27 minutes delay. Difficult understanding thick accent and broken English of 2 of the 3 employees assisting me. No apology offered for embarrassment, delay, additional confusion or having to move all groceries to another register and rescanning each item. No items missed originally by the way.

This organization is in shambles. No stock, terrible quality products, rude customer service and at my local store I saw rats in the restroom. I recommend going somewhere else.

Went to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things. Upon entering the store it was fine. Pharmacy area is so over crowded with nowhere to manuve around everything. Tried to ask a store employee where to find something and she blew us off saying she cant help use because shes in customer service 😒....second employee we asked was very snarky and told us where it was then in a very rude manner stated if we would download the walmart app we could find it ourselves.. wow, just totally bad customer service all the way around. Only good point is the store and bathroom was very clean.

You can find literally everything.If you need help the staff will help you to find what you are looking.If you are in Florida more specifically in Venice, you wont find a better place with better prices.Except if you go to the dollar tree.But Walmart has much more things.

The representative in the electronics dept was not knowledgeable at all. he kept using phrases I heard....I think...I cant. it was quite amusing actually. it gave me the idea that walmart didnt want my $400 after everything. the rep should have started out with... this is the only thing we have in stock and I dont have a clue when we will get anything in as we are still suffering from blah....blah... blah. I would have respected HIM more.

I love Walmart as long as you don’t need help from the employees. They always got what I need.

Personality of Walmarts vary by location. I like this one and shop almost everyday at 11 AM. Its my preferred place for produce, pantry items, beer, beef, lamb, and everything my cat needs. Surprisingly, the fish is good also. For chicken and cheese, I shop Publix. For spices, I go Whole Foods.

Long lines for very few cashiers. Cashiiers grumpy. No employ discount if I check myself out.

Pleasant shopping experience, employees are courteous. Well stocked shelves. Self checkout always works well. Was able to add money to a prepaid card. Buy a cold can of coke for 50 cents at vending machine.

There is only one cashier open. You spend more time in line than you do picking up your items! Would not recommend shopping here because of the cash out lines. See employee standing by registers on her phone! Allvemplyees seem to be shopping for online people verses helping the people who are actually shopping.

It’s Walmart they almost always have everything we need. I do wish they stoked the fishing dept better. Hint if there are certain items that have been out of stock for a while or are always out of stock why not order more of it and the other items that have dust on them just get rid of those.

New store design was very poorly thought out. Now the massive poles are in the middle of the aisles, making it very difficult to maneuver around and shop.

People working at customer service desk are uneducated about their return policies and always have conflicting information, not to mention rude and look at you like you are a fraud!

I needed some assistance in lawn and garden and the man who worked there was unable to answer my question. He told me to ask the lady. I approached her and she turned and walked away. She couldnt get away fast enough, pretending she couldnt hear me. Finally she turned around ...didnt look at me and was rude. Then I went to MRT and ACE. The lady there actually asked if she could help me. What a difference. Wont be shopping at walmart for plants.
