I appreciate the customer service. Went in to trade the pre-owned game for the new game because I thought it was glitching. It was explained to me what the real issue was (new game, old console) and I didnt have to spend extra money when the end result would be the same until getting new console more compatible with the games coming out.Long story short I need a PS5.

This store has a well-organized selection of new/used games and consoles on various platforms, but come for the helpful recommendations or gaming advice that their staff offers that you wont get at Best Buy or Amazon. They are priced competitively to the box stores, and also offer a rewards membership program for discounts on purchases and bonuses on trade-ins.

My mother and I came to the store to get a controller. The guy working said that they didnt have them available to buy. My mother replied, saying that they shouldnt have it hanging up unless it was a product they were able to sell. The guy responded with a disrespectful tone and a very snarky answer.

Super helpful staff! Showed up to buy a controller for our nephew, found out in line he already had it. As we were brainstorming about what to do, Aspen came up and saved the day. Finding out what our nephew liked, she gave us two solid recommendations for video games that we walked out of the store with, which I think we’ll make us a cooler Aunt and Uncle. Staff was great and helpful when I went in to buy an Xbox one s console (pre owned). But the console I received was a 500 GB one instead of the 1TB that I payed for. The tag on the box the console came in even says 1TB. I suggest maybe staying away from pre owned or figure out if it is truly the right one before purchasing.

OK first off, I want to say I love GameStop. The company is awesome. I’ve been shopping with them since they opened and I’ve always had a membership.I was in the Army and now I move around the country a lot for work. I recently moved to Vancouver WA in November, so I just started going to this location even though the mall is closer to me. I’ve gone there three times and I will never be going back.The first time I went there in Dec. the staff was rude and treated me as if I were bothering them. At one point they told me to hang on then they continued to talk to each other about food. They literally just stood there behind the registers, doing nothing but talking to each other about food! Then when I grew tired of waiting and asked if I could get the games, pay and leave. The taller guy with a beard asked the other if he would help me or did he have to? As if doing his job was to much for him.Second time I went therein January. A young lady and a guy were working. It seemed as if they were busy stocking the shelves or moving stuff around but again it was around 4 and no one was shopping except me. I know what I wanted so I just grabbed it, paid and left. I was greeted when I first walked in but it wasn’t friendly and I had to wait for the young lady to stop moving stuff around before she would ring up my purchases. I did ask her about the PS4 Pro god of war console but she said she didn’t know anything about it.The third and last time I went there was yesterday, Thursday around 6:30. I got an email about double points on trade ins and purchases on Friday and Saturday. So I wanted to stop in and check the trade in values on three cell phone we don’t use anymore, see if they would give the double points a day early, purchase a Nintendo Switch system, see if I could get that PS4 pro God of War console ordered, and get some accessories while I was there. The two guys behind the counter doing busy work looked up at me as I walked in and greeted me, asking if I needed help. As I stepped to the counter I had my phones for trade, in hand and asked about trading them in. Matt the store lead asked the other guy if he wanted to take this or did he have to deal with this. The other guy told Matt to go ahead because he didn’t want to. So Started to ask Matt about the Double points starting tomorrow, he stopped me and said “first I’m going to need you to go down to the end of the counter because that where we check the values of stuff. As I got to the end of the counter he took a deep breath and said “now what to you want”, he was very rude already. I told him, asking about the points he said you can only get the points tomorrow and Saturday. I said ok that’s fine can I still find out how much the phones are worth. That made him angry I guess because he became visibly annoyed and said “why? the value of the phone will change by tomorrow. They won’t be worth as much.” I said really? The values will change overnight. He said “yea they could” I said well it’ll still give me an idea of the value. I asked about the PS4 Pro god of war console and I was laughed at saying I shouldn’t have set around and I should’ve ordered it sooner because now it’s too late. I’ll never be able to get that console PlayStation won’t release any more it was a limited edition. They won’t release anymore because they sold so many in preorder. Any way it just got worse from there. Because of Matt’s attitude I didn’t buy anything and I won’t be going back to that store. Today I’m going to the mall location instead and I’ll make my purchases and trades there...

Employee Ken seemed straight up on the phone, but once I get there price is dropped only a couple bucks. Didnt know 5 bucks was a couple. But worse thing is that after they weasel you down. The price they tell you gets taxed on top..

As of the past 2 or 3 years all the employees that werent very nice Ive never seen and a every single employee or manager Ive talked with there has been very helpful and friendly. Sure theyll try to sell you on products from time to time as I would expect but they dont push it or anything too extreme. Amazing support and help hust overall great people. They play alot of games too so im always have great casual conversations with the employees there. The trade in prices are a bad sad but thats just GameStop. However that does mean youll find some pretty awesome selections for really good prices.

To GameStop in Salmon Creek. Frankly I am very disgraced with your services, your manager by the name of Mike is mouthy, short and disrespectful to me and many other people. When I ask him questions about an item he heavy sighs and roles his eyes and when he recomends something and I turn it down he make me look stupid infront of other customers. I'm deeply disgraced by efforts put into cleaning gaming consoles and controllers before sold, I can't tell you how many times ive bought a PS3 system that was dusty as all get out and controllers with greece and oil on them it makes me sick to no that my money is being waisted on products that aren't even cleaned that well, you need to put more pride in your work GameStop, when I buy a console, game or controller from you I want to feel like I made a good purchase with my money for something that will last. ive actually boughten 5 ps3 slims from you in the last 6 years and only one of them was wrapped in bubble rap to ensure it stays safe I dont want just a PS3 thrown into a box with a controller and no padding that also makes me sick. I hope you read this and do something cause im not shopping here again till you clean up a little and start putting pride into your work! And Mike needs to change his atitude for sure.

Shouldnt have to argue free promotions from the employees and management. Everytime event pokemon come out Im told I can only get one promotional code, regardless that I have purchased 3 versions of the game. I bet this would be super inconvenient for parents getting the codes for their kids without dragging them into the store.
