I really dont know what to say, Motoring Specialists is fantastic. From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted with a warm smile and welcoming atmosphere. Larry and the mechanics are always so understanding and knowledgeable. I have brought my minicooper in for services over the past three years and it always feels like it runs better when I get it back. Thank you Motoring Specialists.

Motoring Specialist are very professional and do top notch work. My husband started coming here years ago for our 2005 GMC Denali and I was so impressed that I decided that Id rather bring my Lexus RC here than take it to the dealer. Their customer service is excellent and I highly recommend them.

First impression was really great on the phone and how you get a free and very nice replacement loaner. Upon arriving it’s another great impression. Nice clean customer area! Nice little extra added touch is the cute Yorky that greets you.Everything was done as expected and my car was even sparkling clean. Really nice people!

This shop does my regular maintenance on my 2015 Toyota Camry, they have always been very communicative and professional. My brake light recently came on and they were able to take my car immediately. They performed the inspection ahead of the schedule they quoted me, had a loaner car ready for me to use on very short notice, and when it turned out to just be an alert light with no actual brake problem, they did not charge me at all - I only had to replace the gas I used in the loaner car! They are a great local business with friendly staff and Im SO GRATEFUL they are within walking distance of my home.

Motoring Specialist did a great great job repairing my Audi A7, but Customer service goes a very very long way for me and I have to say that Kallie is by far best at it. I had a couple issues and concerns due to my lack of knowledge; while my Audi was in the shop. She explained everything to me thoroughly and made sure I left a happy customer. My Audi is back with me again. The Audi techs did a marvelous job at pinpointing the exact issue and getting my vehicle back to me ASAP. My Audi came back to me washed and drove like a dream. They even have loaner cars for you to use while your vehicle is in the shop. Thank you to Kallie and thank you to Brian who helped me as well during the whole process. I will definitely be returning to get my routine maintenance done.

Its always a nightmare when you finally buy yourself a used car and a week later youve got spots on your driveway because Something is leaking. I brought it straight to the team at Motoring Specialists and they went above and beyond my expectations! They conducted a full inspection including PICTURES of everything they looked at which they sent me in a digital email report (screenshots of report attached) and found i had a leaking wiper fluid pump. With my approval they replaced it with the right part which they already had on hand and i was back on the road by the afternoon. They even washed my car! All i can say is exceptional service for a totally reasonable cost. I will definitely be back for my regular maintenance!

Wow. What a great experience. I brought my Honda to them with an AC problem that another professional repair facility could not fix. Motoring Specialties correctly diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly and affordably. When they made a mistake and failed to plug a part all the way in, they not only fixed it quickly without any complaint, they gave me a $50 gift card to Fuso’s Restaurant! How’s that for customer service. They warranty all their work! Highly recommend

Motoring Specialist have the greatest technicians and customer service in the business. The techs are extremely thorough and never leave a mess. In addition, the customer service personnel should give lessons to others. I love this place; its the best.You never have to worry when you take your car to them. We have never had better experiences with car repairs! We have a Saab; so our options are limited for European vehicle repairs. We have shopped around a couple times and we always go with Motoring Specialists. This last time they stood about among the competition by a long shot. On the phone, they gave us an estimate based on what we believed to be the issue. They were pleasant and accommodating even offering to take us home after dropping off the car. We got the car in quickly, the repairs were done quickly, the price was better than expected, they were communicative through each step of the process. They told us that they normally clean the car, but it was almost out of gas, so they gave us a voucher for a car wash. Leaving so very happy, I went to my car to find a gift on the seat. Oh, and my car: top notch repair. So, so thrilled with their services. Thank you Motoring Specialists! We will be back!

The team at Motoring Specialists are top notch. They are honest, fair, and efficient and will go out of their way to make sure the job is done right. They were able to diagnose a problem with my electrical system that even the dealer didnt want to tackle- all at a reasonable price. They stand behind their work and offer an amazing guarantee. The shuttle service is great too, you dont have to wait until the shuttle is full, they will run you to your destination right away. I highly recommend using them for your automotive maintenance.

Motoring Specialists in Vacaville took a simple oil change and turned it into a truly above and beyond experience. It wasnt just the car wash they threw in for free, or the referral benefits, or the gift, or the excellent customer care, or the offer for transportation, or the lovely thank you card in the mail afterward. We have never had service like this before, anywhere, and we will be giving them all of our business from here on out. It really says a lot about them.

Finding a reliable mechanic is really rare and can be scary so when I found this one I was pleasantly surprised from the start. Extremely friendly service and fast turn around with constant communication. Kallie made the entire experience top notch! Even though the fix wasn’t able to be made at the shop, they went above and beyond in explaining what was wrong with my vehicle as well as working with me on my options. Will absolutely be going back for any of my needs in the future!

Used them for the first time and will certainly continue to use them. They spent the time to fix a technical software issue with my car which, when fixed, ended up making the whole vehicle drive better. The software update fixed the original starting problem and made the shifting of the vehicle much smoother.

Great Job! Brought my Honda in for 100K tuneup. Now it feels like new. Mpg is up, used all factory parts, covered everything. Even fixed slow leak in back tire. This is the only place Im going for now on.

Even though Ive moved out of Vacaville, I continue to bring my VW here. Their customer service is top notch. They never push unwanted maintenance, provide you with detailed outcomes of any diagnostics they perform, and give you recommendations for future needs for your car that may not be pressing issues at the moment but should be kept in mind. The job is always done well and completed quickly. Kayli, and now also Ray, up front is super friendly and knowledgeable. Plus - Kaylis adorable little Yorkie, Wicket, is a sweet little greeter when hes out to say hello.

On first visit, they wanted to charge me $90 to replace an air filter that all you had to do was lift two latches (not even any screws) to pop out the filter which only cost me $12 at Auto Zone. I picked up my car and they proceeded to tell me how much they value my business and even gave me cards to pass out for them to refer friends. This morning (Wednesday) I called them with an emergency as I use my car for outside sales and had appointments already set. I had hit something the night before which caused 2 hoses from the cooling system to come loose; I could see them from under the hood. She informed me they couldnt see me until Friday. I reiterated how important it was to fix my car and that I could view the problem from the top. She would not even give me 5 minutes same day, in an emergency situation, to have someone look at my car from the top so that I could make an appointment for Friday. Terrible service and terrible business practices. Dont be fooled by the reviews. They pay their customers to recruit all their friends and leave reviews. Bad service and just as expensive as dealership.

Very satisfied with the result of my visit. I came in and they helped me with the best way possible. My airconditioner wasnt working and I found out its only a wire that got disconnected, they sent me pictures and details about everything they found good or bad. They told me what is needed to be done and didnt force me to do it! Very much satisfied will come back again in the future!

Cheryl, Larry, and their whole crew kick serious butts. Their facility is probably the cleanest shop Ive ever seen, waiting area is super nice, their bathroom is fantastic (hey that matters in car shop bathrooms when youre a female!). Their regular oil change comes with a STANDARD FIFTY point inspection, test drive, AND A CAR WASH! I mean, are they real?!?! Theyre also super honest with that inspection-- letting you know what needs to be fixed now and what can wait (saves you money). Love this place, sorry I always bring my car in filthy... that complimentary car wash is just too cool. Thank you!!!

I have a 92 Honda civic that was leaking oil from the crank case seal. Im down here from Oregon for work and needed a quick fix. They were booked up but squeezed me in anyways and did a great job. Very friendly which isnt easy to come by down here.

Im new to Vacaville CA and as a AAA member I received a referral to Motoring Specialist as a AA certified repair shop. I contacted Motoring Specialist because my cars temperature gauge was fluctuating from cold to hot without ever and my heat was luke warm not hot at all. I dropped my car off when they opened and received a call later that day that the car was ready . They did the diagnostic check and I had an oil change, they stated they checked my coolant system and there were no leaks and the coolant was just low, so it was topped off . Okay no problem, a few weeks passed and Id parked at the grocery store , when I came out my car didnt start . Id just had a battery installed about 2 mos prior so it wasnt the battery. After sitting a few moments I tried to start the car again and it started. The next day I contacted Motoring Specialist and made an appointment and informed them of the car not starting and the ongoing issue with the temperature gauge and the heat. I was given an appointment a few days later and I dropped the car off and was advised I would receive a call about mid-day. Well mid-day came and went and no call . I finally received a call around 4P letting me know the car wouldnt be ready until the following day. The next day no communication again all day so at around 2P I called to check on my car and was advised that it wasnt ready yet the technician was still working on it , this is Thurs. On the following day which Friday I received a call in the AM from Motoring Specialist stating that they needed to order a part because the technician broke my steering pulley while working on the car and it had to be ordered and the car should be ready for me on Monday. Monday comes and I dont hear anything from Motoring Specialist until late afternoon , theyre still waiting on the part and it should be there that afternoon or early in the morning , either way my car would be ready by the next day. Theyve had my car now for more than a week. The next day is Tues of the next week I took the car in on Mon of the previous week, I received a call that the part was in and my car would be ready that afternoon after 3P. Great right? Nope I get a call back before I leave work that theyre not quite finish and give them until tomorrow because they still need to check my coolant system . Okay the next day is Wed Im looking forward to getting my car back , I get a call in the AM that the technician working on my car called off so they didnt want to have someone else step in at the tail end of the repair and wed have to wait for him to come back to work. Well the Technician came back to work on Thurs the car had to sit overnight because they took the coolant system down and it needed to sit overnight to make sure everything was functioning properly and for test driving. I pick my car up on Friday its been 11 days, finally to the sum of $1165.00 . It doesnt end there 3-4 weeks later the car is running hot again I take it back and wait for that mid-day call , no call I get off work at 3P and call and theyre trying to get an estimate for me. I politely let them know I dont need and estimate because its a recurring issue that they were supposed to have already repaired . I let them know I will not be paying another dime. I was told theyd call me back, so I get the call back within 5-10 mins to tell me that they cant repair my car the parts are no longer made for the car and I need to buy a new car. I was also told theyre not used to working with this type of car , this is California and were not used to rust and all that . What I truly believe was the issue was the color of my skin not the small rust spot on my tailgate of my truck which is a 2007 Dodge , they do still make parts for it , this woman was condescending and rude because I refused to keep being played for a fool. I was patient with them with all the mishaps from this job. I was refunded and took my truck to another repair shop and it needed a radiator. Motoring Specialist? Is that a joke? Ive been traumatized !!!

I had used Motoring Specialist a number of times and had been generally happy with their work. However, on this last trip I got to see a whole other side of them.The interior driver side door handle on my Mercedes SL500 broke. I took it in for a B service and repair of the door handle. I was told it would cost $3219.00 to repair. I had looked up the problem and I knew it was a $30.00 part that broke. The Motoring Specialist Technician Larry and the sales girl Kallie insisted the part was molded into the door panel and COULD NOT be replaced. When I asked why Mercedes sells the part if it CAN NOT be installed, Larry stared at me with a blank look and said OK. Then continued to insist that a new door panel must be purchased.Motoring Specialists takes pictures of your tires, coolant, axles and a number of other things and sends these pics to your email with recommendations of what needs service. They sent this email with pics of everything except the broken $3219.00 part. When I asked Larry why this was, he responded that the software would not allow it...Right!If you Google broken door handle on the SL500 you will find it is a common problem with a simple solution. Finally Larry changed his story and said We only do top quality work by Mercedes specifications and that is why we will only do it the right way and change the panel I refused the repair, and when picking up the car, I found that Larry had broken the wood trim on the door when removing the panel for his diagnostic. When I brought this to his attention he offered to glue it back together. When I asked if that was the high quality Mercedes way? He once again got the blank, vacuous stare.FYI...Check out the Mercedes owner forums and you will see the dealerships fix the part. They DO NOT sell the whole panel.Motoring Specialist staff is not trustworthy. See the pictures at the bottom of this review. At the bottom of the first picture it states The handle is only serviceable by renewing the entire door panel at the bottom of page 2, it states the $3219.00 price tag. Page 3 is the receipt from the shop that successfully completed the job for $240.00Do your due diligence before trusting Motoring Specialist recommendations. Had I trusted them I would have tossed away $3000.00
