This is definitely one of those shops who will try to nickel and dime you for anything they can. The mechanics are cool, but the boss is cringey. Told me I desperately need new tires. My tires are nearly brand new. I honestly feel like the shop tries to take advantage of women who may not know what their car does/doesnt need. I wouldnt recommend this shop at all.

Poor service, disrespectful to women, they exaggerated charges for working on your car. No support from manager, just stands there while mechanic rants and raves, mechanic refused to allow me to have a diagnostic done on my car before I allowed him to work on it. He threw a tantrum and yelled im not touching her car. Lol, I would not let their mechanic wash my windows.

Not happy with this place at all went for a oil change had a coupon for fluids top off and rotation of tire got nothing but a oil change they claim that I need new tires so they couldnt do the rotation so long story short its all a catfish to upsale you to getting work that dont need to be done and to buy new tires .

Took car in to get repaired owner claimed that there was rodent damage and would be 1000-7000 to fix or I could sell the car to him for 500 when the value of the car was worth thousands more. Once insurance was involved they weren’t giving any updates and didn’t care to fix the car. Took it to a different shop to find out there was no rodent damage and the car runs fine. Never using Midas again. They will scam you.

Dan has always done his best to help me out and the work is great!Came in for a routine oil change they noticed both my cabin air filter and engine air filter needed to be replaced got me a really good deal.They also noticed a type of bolt for my engine oil was put on too tight last time causing it to get stripped replaced it for free and fixed my hanging exhaust free of charge.I will always go here for anything and will continue to recommend and be a customer!

I wasnt going to say anything but its been like an itch I needed to scratch. A week ago my sister brought her vehicle to this place for maintenance. The guy that helped us was a Hispanic guy with a beard who we honestly believed took $100 out of my sisters center console. We noticed it was missing 20 minutes after we have left the place in a McDonalds drive thru. We were both for certain it was taken because we searched the entire vehicle and didnt find it and Midas was the last place we noticed it prior to turning over the vehicle. I get its hard to prove but the situation to us is obvious to my sister and I. I get times are tough but stealing from others is very wrong! So I am writing this review to make the public aware of this occurrence. This is poor in ethics and it makes me and my sister feel violated. She says the guys name was Kris but were not 100% sure but either way it was Midas who was the last place. We were going to press charges but the police officer we contacted said we needed to first talk to management but I do not trust even doing that! Vacaville be warned of this place!

I went to Midas knowing I needed new tires and had break issues. They still conducted their diagnostic and confirmed what I already suspected. The service I received was excellent, and honestly have no complaints. I got 4 new tires and a rotation as well as brakes and additional services with my brakes. I was in and out the same day in a few hours and received a total of $200 in coupons to help!

Tried somewhere new because a competitors wait was always way over what they say. Midas was quick to help, new ownership, kind service. Free coffee in waiting area plus TV and wifi. Prices comparable. Finished services acceptable. Will try again for other services on my cars to get a running idea if really like... so far so good 😊 but it will take something incredible for me to give any car place a 5 star...

Crystal and the guys at Midas were amazing! We were about halfway through an all day road trip when our car started overheating and we couldn’t figure out why. They saw us immediately, diagnosed the problem quickly, and repaired it affordably in under an hour. And on top of that they were super friendly and nice. I can’t sing their praises enough!

I waited in the waiting room while I got an oil change, it took about an hour but they were busy. The manager was nice and personable. Had pretty good customer service. I would agree with Justin as well, theyre great for oil changes but the last time I was there they told me I needed to replace my cabin air filter (which they mentioned nothing of during this visit) and this visit they told me I needed my belt replaced, which I declined because they quoted me $190 and upon further research found out my cars belt is supposed to be good for the life of the car or 125,000 miles which I am not at yet. So with that I think they will try to get money out of you just like any other car shop really.

Friendly and knowledgable staff. I had my power steering fluid flushed and engine oil cooling lines replaced due to the lines being swollen and leaking. The next day I had a small leak where the cooling lines attach to the radiator. The team replaced the faulty fitting at the radiator that wasnt required for the original quote/job, they did this at no extra charge to me and took care of it right away. Great customer service! Will return for future work!

I went to Midas for an oil change and tire rotation. I dont normally go to Midas, but I had a coupon for an oil change, and thought I may as well use it at the time, because I was due for the service anyway. My time at Midas was great, up until it was time for me to pay--the man who rang me up seemed to have an issue with me giving him my coupon at the time of payment, which made me feel like I was an inconvenience for handing it to him when I did. The mechanics there also left a dirty used towel in the passenger side of my car.To be fully honest, though, the two factors I described above werent as bad as this--before my visit to Midas (which was a Saturday morning), my tires were fine. By Monday morning following the visit, I went outside to get in my car, to find that my front drivers side tire was flattening. When I took my car to the nearest gas station to try to find what could be causing the slow leak and to get air, I found that the valve stem cap was completely loose. I went to check the rest of my tires, and all of the other valve stem caps were somewhat loose too, not as loose as the front driver side tire that was losing all the air.Im not going back to Midas again.

Scheduled appointment online for the next day and they were suppose to call me to confirm. Got no call. I tried calling repeatedly and the phone system didnt work. I drove 25 minutes there after work for them to tell me their email and phone system was not working and they couldnt service my car. What a headache. Ive always had good service at Midas locations and this one was a complete dud. I rather take my business elsewhere.

Went a couple months back for a scheduled oil change. the staff were nice. they changed my oil, but also informed me of two cracked belts and an air filter which needed to be changed (approx $300). i declined for the time being. the air filter did not need to be changed. they had offered at my last oil change and i had accepted (two months earlier). the belts i had replaced elsewhere for $200.midas has fast and affordable oil changes, but i would not suggest trusting them regarding repair estimates.

Midasize It.I wanted an oil change but the local oil shop was lined up to the street. I noticed Midas is now a total care system including oil changes. So, I decided to get it done here. They did this only after an un-solicited, free courtesy inspection and found all kinds of doom and gloom items. They were wondering how I able to drive my Toyota to their shop. Obviously an upselling technique. I went along with this and requested a written estimate for everything they claimed was wrong. Then, said no. One thing I agreed with however, was the front brakes. I actually didn’t realize how bad they were because they were still performing well. However, they proved that one of the calipers were frozen as far as their self-adjusting ability. Even though the pistons still work the adjusting ability will cause uneven pad wear. This is because they can’t slide along their mounting pins or grooves depending on the configuration. So, I allowed for a complete front brake job and even sprung for new rotors. Therefore, I can’t complain about this particular part of the upsell. My complaint is about the quality of the parts used. They replaced the old Toyota brand calipers that were not at all rusted. Their brand rusted within a week. I noticed it thru the wheel slots. Took off the wheels for closer inspection. The calipers and rotors looked like they were from a salvage yard. The other big complaint is based on an estimate I actually wanted but they never gave. If you ever heard the term, “Midasize It,” it refers to their primary service which is exhaust systems. However, this Midas doesn’t do exhaust. That is, they have no welding or bending ability as all exhaust shops do. They can only install bolt on exhaust parts. There it is. A Midas that wants to do everything else but the exhaust work they were founded on.

Under new management and i love it! these guys really helped me out on my truck after i managed to completey screw up my brakes by not putting parts back in and using wrong brake grease stuiped me that was a very expensive lesson as a result had to replace my calipers, rotors brakes and rear drums whoops and i knew i was going to be spending a chunk of change after the tow truck driver should me throw the rims what he could see and becides the fact my e brake went all the way to the floor but these guys gave me a deal to help me out and gave a loaner so i didnt miss work. owning a car is a expensive cost but choosing to due it yourself can be a greator cost if your not a mechanic.

Completely took care of what my vehicle needed brought me out to show how bad my brakes where ( metal to metal) gave a hell of a deal and throw in a alignment and best part of the lifetime warrenty is free brake pads when they reach their end of life typically 50 to 100k miles for as long as you own the car, To the guys that complain about busniess that they clam take advantage of people well this place doesnt it does doe what their services are offered as in 17 point inspection when you come in for a oil change check out air filters wipers etc. they will show eveything. i took a chance on these guys and they won me as a new customer thanks guys!!!

On a road trip. Drove in without an appt on a Sunday because of a horrible noise in the front end. The staff were polite and friendly. Took us right in, did a thorough inspection of both axles, drive shafts, wheels, etc. Removes rocks from the calipers. Took it for a drive to make sure all was well. Didnt charge us at all! Thank you, Manager & Staff. This trip could have turned into a train wreck.

Amazing Service. We were driving down the freeway on a Sunday, early afternoon, when a horrible screeching noise began coming from the front of my truck. We limped into Midas and took us in right away. They put the truck on the lift, took the tires off and began inspection. At first look, they were afraid the ball bearings had gone bad. As it turned out, a rock had kicked up and got stuck in the caliper. Once the rock fell out, they continued with a thorough inspection, took the truck for a test drive and all was well. My only regret is that I dont live in Vacaville, so I am not able to take my truck there for regular service or I certainly would after they took such great care of us.

6 months ago I went in for an oil change, picked it up & my vehicle had body damage. There has been NO resolve. Ive been dealing directly with the owner Curtis, & Im truly amazed corporate would allow such ownership. I just filed a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair. I was hung up on and yelled at by Curtis, no one returns phone calls. Below I am attaching my summary that I stated in my BAR complaint. The time, the stress, & so forth has taken so much out of me and my livelihood.*For over the first 5 months, I received one call initially from the own, who said he was looking for a new piece. I never received a call back, but would call him about every 3 only to get the same response, Well, were looking for a piece and Ill let you know. He never let me know during that first 5 months, so when I called him in May he gave me the same, Ill get back to you. I respectfully told him, At what point do we take another direction to getting this solved? If you cant find a piece, we need to work out what the next step is. From here, he became angry & loud, telling me he doesnt like my tone, although this whole time I was calm & respectful. He then angrily told me, My guy could fix this for 300 bucks so why dont I throw you $300 & you can be out of my hair? I already had 2 quotes that were around $1000, & told him that we could discuss a mutual price, but $300 wasnt going to compensate for the damage. I left that call telling him I could give him 1 more month, & if he still couldnt find the piece, wed need to work out another way of compensation.In May I tried communicating to the manager, his assistant, & his wife who also works for the company. I sent texts, voice messages, & never received 1 call back. The reason I was reaching out was because I didnt feel comfortable now talking to or dealing with Curtis. Finally, with no one calling me back, I called Curtis again & he finally told me he had the piece. When I started asking him questions if his team was actually qualified to do body work, he again became angry & aggressive & hung up on me. I tried to call back, & I told him that he was giving me no choice but to call file with the BAR. He then hung up again. He did call me back that evening & I felt I had to talk HIM down & explain to him, You are a business owner. Why arent we able to discuss this respectfully & come to a mutual resolve. I know both of us dont want to keep dealing with this. His response was that he was tired of dealing with the situation. I took notes & he gave these reasons to why he hung up on me:Because it wasnt going to be prettyLose my mindDidnt want to yell & screamI asked him why would he have to yell & scream & lose his mind?I felt I had to talk to him in a way to show some sort of human to human respect. He finally calmed down & we set a date for me to bring my van into Vacaville so they could put the new panel on.6-27, I bring my van to the Vacaville location for my apt & the mgr tells me her tech that would fix the van isnt in. Not only that, but she had not been in the loop with Curtis about the details of what this was all about & she had not seen the new panel piece. I called Curtis right away. I told him because they wanted me to leave the van there all day, I had to have a car to get my kids in, so he said come back on Friday, and I will have a loner for you.So today, Friday, I call in the AM to make sure the loner was there. The manager stepped out for a moment & they said shed call me back. I never got a call back. So 2 hours later, I drove there. When I got there, there was no Loner vehicle & there was no tech. This time the mgr stated she thinks the panel was still in Napa, Curtis other shop. I couldnt fathom the dysfunction that I was mixed up in. I called Curtis immediately & told him, Im trying to stay as calm as I can, but Im getting frustrated because theres no loner vehicle & no tech. He says, Whelp, Ill have to get back to you. Before I could reply, he hung up on me. Its now 4 hrs later & I havnt received a call.
