I been dealing with them for some years (3rd car) but this car I got now is the worst car I ever seen. The gas cap belong to another vehicle and they just slapped it on this car . We paying a extra 75 a month on a transmission and the car still the same from when I dropped it off. They let the car sit at reliable transmission for 3 weeks and My items where stolen out of my vehicle ( the arm rest which is a closed off space no one can see) they had my car sitting up there for 2 1/2 weeks when we was paying for a rental but when we said they need to provide help since we can’t keep paying on a rental they decided to help out with a rental but the car was done 4 days after that so they won’t have to pay a lot for the rental . They take advantage of their loyal customers. We pay every time on time and gave them NOT 1 problem but when we needed help they threw us to the curb and said they not responsible

The staff is professional and courteous. The buying of the car was fast and easy. There wasnt any pressure to purchase any one car. They let me make an informed and casual decision. It was really easy and painless. They seemed friendly, helpful and answered all of my questions.

I have been a customer with this company for years. Paid my notes on time they just money hungry, and Tony is very unprofessional as he argued with me about a car i purchased with in weeks time the check engine light came on and gas cap light costanly came on i had been at the repair shop at least 5 times in less than 30 days. When i spoke with Tony about it he hung up in my face and did not keep his word on covering the car note for the month, because of these major issues . Remember customers are your number one priority, huh not with these guys. I do not recommend a vichel with this company if you looking for a reliable used car. There over prices anyway and if anything goes wrong a week or two they will try and make you pay for it or keep you in the car instead of refunding your money back ect.

I will never recommend this place to anyone I know. Im very displeased with the staff there. Gigi was rude and thought she was better than myself. The only one I can say anything good about is my account manager Frances. She has worked with me so much. After 2 months of having it we had to take it to their warranty shop due to major shaking issues and were told it was a bolt on the subframe after we told them it only happened when braking. He said they looked at it. I come from a family of mechanics and know what to look for. I definitely didnt see any signs of the tires being taken off so I know they didnt look at it. We have paid out over $1000 plus made our payments like we are supposed to as per our agreement. But how do they expect a person to feel paying over $10,000 for a used vehicle that has cost us so much money in just a year. Yeah I get its used but Ive had older cars that didnt cost as much as this vehicle has. So it being a used vehicle saying doesnt apply here. Theyre tell me that all day but its BS. Once this is paid off I will take my business elsewhere.

She blatantly lied to me, could careless for the customer and wasted well over an hour of my time.To be completely fair the other employees I interacted with, Abigail( I believe thats her name) and the woman at the cashier window, were both very friendly.

I can’t say enough about the integrity of everyone that works here!!! Our shop helps with some of the repairs that they need. They have never asked me to patch a job, cut corners, or anything but offer the best service. From our very first meeting they made it clear that the price would never be the deciding factor. They stressed that quality and a fair timing was what matters the most to this company. All of the cars I have seen have been well maintained, low miles, and from the stickers have very low down payments. Buying a car from TAC is like buying from a family friend. Many of the employees have worked for them for thirty plus years. That should tell you how well the owner runs a business!

🍋 Avoid this place at all cost !! They sell lemon cars ! My grandparents purchased a 2011 Hyundai from them as a Christmas gift to me it’s broken down on me TWICE and i havent Had the vehicle for a month yet . They refuse to refund or give us a new vehicle. I’ve had diagnostics ran and multiple mechanics tell me the car has major electrical issues . They’re rude and lack professionalism. Knowing they’re not driving cars themselves that are out of order . This car stopped on me in the middle of driving on the highway and now I’m out of a vehicle which btw won’t even start now !!! I spoke To hailey and told her we would be getting an attorney and her response was “ well have your attorney talk to ours “ with attitude. It should be no reason why a newly purchased vehicle now won’t even start up after not even having it for 3 weeks consecutively . Don’t be apart of this family’s scam like we have !! I’d love to see a response from the owner as to how they want to rectify the situation.

This was the first time I had gone to Taylor Auto Credit. I was in desperate need of a car and wasn’t able to come up with the normal amount of down payment like everyone wants ($1,000-$2,000). Gigi was great, she answered all my calls, returned any calls that were missed, and replied to all my emails. She was able to talk to the owner and they worked out a great deal! I had some trouble getting the required documents together on my side but they worked with what I had. I was able to walk out of there with the vehicle I have been wanting for years! I will definitely be going back once it comes time to get another car or maybe even sooner!

Ive loved both cars I got from here. My only issue is the lack of communication. My paper buyers tag expired today, and Ive been trying for a week to get answers on when my new plates would be in. It takes me to actually call the sales department for them to figure out whats going on.

They told my daughter 700.00 then after she test drove it and said she wanted it the said the down payment was 900.00 then when they did paper work it then a 1000.00 down payment. I wanted my daughter to leave and not do it. But the car was need so i could make appointments. My advice is make sure that they live up to their word.

Easy to get financed.Ive had my vehicle for about six months, so far no problems with the vehicle or the financing.My only criticism would be that ALL of the vehicles they sell seem to be very high mileage vehicles only. It would be nice to have some vehicles to choose from that werent near or well over 100 thousand miles at purchase. :(

This car lot has nothing but overpriced junkers on their lot. Because of my experience in buying a car there, all they care about is what they can screw out of the customer. It is my belief that if they did business any other way, they would probably go out of business inside of a month. My recommendation: Steer well clear of this auto business. You will get burned financially very badly!

Im really surprised after reading everyones experiences with Taylor Auto Credit. We have had multiple vehicles from there. Maybe it helps that my husband is a mechanic and already can point out vehicles that I wont work on or they have too many issues because he sees that kind in his shop often. We have our Suburban we bought from them 6 years ago and talking to them about trading it in for something else. They have always been nice to us and treated us with respect.

Ive been buying a car from them. Of course my first car gave out after 2.5 years. So I got a new one. Well needless to say I had a lot of family issues and theyre not willing to work with me at all. They never answer the phones and when they do theyre rude like they have a power over you. Its sad I loved taking care of the owner in the home he was put in. But this is insane

It have been quite a while since I visited a used car dealership where they have their own warranty shop and when you buy a used car from Taylor Auto credit you are given a six month warranty, and you dont have to have excellent credit... The better business bureau give them A plus rating and consumer rating 3.8 three star rating, at this point I give a thumb Ups 👍

I attempted to make a car buying decision locally (first time buyer) and was given an honest answer that my Daughter did not qualify for their terms as a new applicant. I understand the reasons for the denial. There are credit risks for several reasons and there are many different buyers / sellors with those reasons. Two days later I was able to find another seller whom was able to make it possible for my daughter to make the drive to her college classes in Austin, and to her new (3 months employed) job in Round Rock. The car we got her into came to just over 18K after everything was signed. I appreciate the honest answer for what its worth but would have rather kept my business in town. Im sorry we couldnt make it happen TAC.

They want you to put a huge down payment when your credit isnt good and then give you the crappy cars that people look over really disappointed me but i went somewhere else and got a new low mileage vehicle of my choice with a lower down payment then Taylor autos ......they may need to look into better Banks to help

We drive from Smithville just to be told they dont have anything in my budget just to try to upsale their vehicles. Then had to drive all the way back to Smithville to take my mother inlaw back home without a vehicle for her.

Gigi was speaking to her associate Julie infront of me asking questions regarding my history. I became frustrated as to how it was being handled and left abruptly. I phoned the dealership after I had left to explain what occured. Gigi threw it in my face that her boss had explained to her we are the lender, and dont wont to deal with people who wont answer questions. Just one problem, I was never asked a question regarding anything by Gigi. Gigi stated they dont have to deal with people like me based on what she was told by her boss. I left because I was frustrated over how things were being handled. Gigi stated I was already approved, she simply had procedural questions for her associate. Handle those matters when your customer isnt present, and sell a car. Ive moved on to a much better deal at a competitor; and Gigi cost her company around $14k. When I informed Gigi I was going to post a review, she wasnt concerned at all. Nice Job!

If a dealer have on all theirInventory :call for price..and no carfax..run real fast.. 😭😭😭😭😭😭times have changed. Do your homework before car shopping. Pull your credit report. Shop for a loan. Stay within your means. Read the vehicle history...carfax. Read consumer report to learn how that model performed over the years. If I could give them zero stars I would. I bought a lemon from them two years ago. First lets talk about the fact that they charged me over 10k for a 2002 Honda Accord Coupe that had over 150k miles on it. Then when I pointed this out, they told me I had to deal with it because I needed a car or I wouldnt have gone to them. I had the car less than three months and the engine over heated twice, the brakes needed replaced after a month and the power steering went out as I was driving which resulted in the car being totaled. I tried to work with them about it and they literally yelled at me over the phone. I paid them over $3k for the car in about the 3 or 4 months I had it, NOW, its showing up on my Experian report as a charge off and dragging my credit score down that Ive worked so hard on over these past two years. Umm... Its been two years since that car was totaled and I actually tried to work with you guys and you yelled at me THE CUSTOMER.... Makes a lot of sense. Worst company ever. Even though I didnt have any credit or a big down payment, Nyle Maxwell treated me WAY better and Im glad I gave Nyle Maxwell my business.

They sold me a car that was a lemon

****BAD EXPERIENCE*** I got cheated at this car lot. I was referred by a friend for the convenience. Of course convenience pays so Im not so concerned with the interest rate. I thought it was decent. So lets jump to the issues with this dealer ship. They were offering a $250 deposit on selected vehicles. I picked a car which was one of the selected. Geneva (Sales Manager) tells me that they dont do a Credit check, but later tells me that my deposit will be $1000.00. I assumed because she saw I make pretty darn good money for being only 21 years old. I got upset and asked why and her response was Based on your credit check and stability. Didnt she just tell me they dont run credit check, plus Ive been at the same address for 8 years plus & the same job for over years. She dropped the deposit to $800. I agreed since I just needed a car by the end of the day. As I am in the front with the store manager (White old man) Im signing my contract and I ask how do their Sales Reps make commission. Old guy tells me off the deposit. SO I knew she scammed me to put more money in her pockets. I thought that was not great business. BUT WAIT! I know I should have withdrew then but I was forgiving. So within a month I notice transmission issues and my car smells like gas & of course the service engine light was on. I take it in to repair which took about 2 weeks!! What was the point of financing? The purpose of financing is for the convince of a fully functional vehicle. So im car-less for a while. I get the car back and the shop told me that there was a hole the size of a golf ball in my gas tank so they replaced it and the transmission was sent out for repairs which cost TAC about $1400. Not even 2 days later the service engine light is back on. I call and talk to Geneva and tell her I want a different car. They try and talk me out of switching cars and later just offers my money back as if they did not want to deal with me.They were kind enough to give me two payment credits. I get a call a few weeks later and they tell me that they got a car in my interest. So they get the paper work ready. I get ther and the car does not start so since its now after hours the next day they ask if I could switch my own battery from my own car. I agree because I just need a DEPENDABLE car for work. I signed the contract so fast I didnt notice they raised my interest rate from 17% to about 20%. And they did not transfer my payments from the first vehicle nor the credit payments. SOOOO the new car has electrical issues. I have to physically hold the bright headlights on as I drive. There must be a shortage since the lights work when they want. I guess it threw off the GPS tracking device because now I am being harassed to turn it in for it to be fixed. I live in East Austin driving out to Taylor is alot to ask out of my busy schedule. I work everyday of the week on a mid-day schedule. And Mireyna is harassing me saying they will tow my car at my expense for the damn GPS. NICE TO KNOW EVERYONE ELSE HAD GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

I helped my mother get a car here. BIG MISTAKE!!! Not even 30 days after we got the car it started falling apart, ac stopped working and some other issues. She was finally able to get it in the shop and 4 days later got it back with the AC still not working, motor on the window put in wrong so instead of going up it went down, you get the picture. She took it back in and they had it another 3 or 4 days and AC finally works, window still messed up. Their web site claims Every car we sell undergoes a rigorous 55-point inspection by our highly trained staff and includes a 2 year/24,000-mile limited warranty. THIS IS A LIE...if it had gone under a 55 point inspection they wouldnt have put this on the lot as it was. In total she did not have a car for eight days and they still want their payment, refused to work with her. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

They are a really not the cheapest but I can really tell you they are far better than the big names in town. Im glad I found them.
