Called today to inquire about wiring my trailer for lights etc. Gary picked up and was very helpful and professional. I went in same day and Gary did the full install as well. His attention to detail was impressive and completed all the work ahead of schedule. Don’t forget to ask for Gary! Thanks and I will be back for other projects.

The people in the front office here are terrible. Which makes it the worst U Haul I have ever been to. Can’t get out of there in less than 30 minutes because front office is super slow and always on their cellphones even when they are helping you. I have rented from them four times, and it is honestly just better to drive a little further to another U-Haul then to have to deal with them. This is the first time ever I have given a business a one star rating

Great place but the key drop off is so inconspicuous and hidden that I wasted 30 minutes finding it. It’s under the “Hitches” sign (like a mail slot) by the garage doors just in case this happens to anyone else. Usually the drop off boxes are... boxes... and not a slot in a garage door where it drops onto the ground. There was no signage to point where it was either. Nearly lost my mind and had to call customer service for help. Please fix this! Otherwise staff was very sweet and I love this location.

My experience with this U-haul resulted in a HUGE waste of TIME MONEY AND GAS. I ordered a hitch installation April 27th scheduled for May 5th . After showing up for my appointment they told me it was not today and said come back tomorrow. I showed them my emailed receipt and was still told that it was not in the system and the parts were not in yet . After I came back in the next day they said we cant do anything come back next week. So I came in next week after that they said we can not give you a date until they have the parts. I ended up having to order all my own parts by myself and go somewhere else to have it installed. During all this driving I was not called at any point and I called before every appointment and was on hold for over an hour.Was not offered a refund and pretty much told there is nothing to do for me.DO NOT GO HERE . TERRIBLE SERVICE !!!! AND CAN NOT GET A HOLD OF ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uhaul makes extra big bucks on toll charges. If you want to add those charges into your account then forget it. They do not inform you before rental that they do extra money on each toll which is very expensive with fees !!!!!!!!!!!!! I am wondering if IRS know the extra money made by uhal forcing innocent victim customers ...

Friendly staff, plenty of rental vehicles and storage units. Cameras everywhere so assuming its safe. And with the drop off after hours app its easier than ever to return the rentals.

Great service, went the extra step. Had a receiver hitch installed for my bike rack. I had trouble installing it. They worked hard to make it right and got it installed.They sell and install bike racks and sell propane in addition to their primary business. Have rented there before and will again, easy place to spot.

I wish I had gotten the mans name. But he met me as I pulled in and told me where to park the trailer and then met me back there. He did all the work of unhooking the trailer and sent me on my way. I think the drop off may of taken 5 minutes. Without a doubt the best experience at a U-Haul in my life and I have had a few.

To begin with, the entire location was not Covid compliant, by a long shot. Out of the approximately five employees present only one was even attempting to wear a mask and that mask was pulled down far below their face leaving their mouth and nose uncovered. This definitely poses a health risk to the community.I reserved a 17 foot truck because I did not want anything larger. I also reserved four dozen furniture blankets and two furniture dollies. When I arrived there was no 17’ truck available so they gave me a 20 foot truck, which as stated was not what I wanted. They at first did not believe they had enough furniture blankets but somehow managed to find all of them. They did not have any furniture dollies, so after much deliberation they decided to give me the display models inside the store, but only after making me promise to return them. As if I wouldn’t? The process also took longer than expected.The condition of the truck that was assigned to us was atrocious. It had a warning light indicating that the parking brake was engaged when it was not and instructing the user to disengage the parking brake. It did this in a English and Spanish voice repeatedly for the entire trip and also made a loud dinging sound, also for the entire trip. Since I was moving approximately 90 miles it was almost unbearable. I mentioned this to an employee before departing the location, and he said he knew of the problem and that he had been asking to have it fixed for a very long time. But it just never got fixed. And then he laughed. Because we were already behind schedule I could not take the time to ask the employees inside to try to find another truck since they earlier indicated they were totally overbooked.Our lengthy trip was made very annoying not just by the annoying mechanical parking brake issue, but also the fact that the truck was wildly out of alignment requiring constant attention to keep it in the correct lane. The truck had 140,000 miles on it and looked and drove like it. On the road we passed other people in rental trucks including a very nice Penske truck, making us wish we had used another company.Between the Covid safety issues at the location, and the mechanical safety issues with the truck, we will not be using this location or the U-Haul brand in the future.

Been to this location to add a toe hitch for my mini van,the rep was courteous and helpful.Got it done pretty quick and the job well done.Location is ideal.

The GM at this store needs some fine tuning with customer service but the assistant manager Israel was great with helping me and my needs. Although it was inconvenient having to transport stuff to my upstairs without a working elevator, everything else was seamless. Israel made sure I had proper 24 hour access and was very surprised by the customer service. Will be coming back for my next move, would recommend.

Made a reservation for 9am ended up arriving by 10am due to traffic... only to find the trailer we reserved was given away. They can take a reservation but cant hold it or honor it. We paid for an open trailer and had to settle for a closed one that barely worked for what was needed. Will never be using this location. Dissapoiting after so many years of using uhaul.

Great service, especially from Robert. I had uhual installed trailer light wiring and it stopped working for a while. I need to use my trailer for some urgent work and want to have the wiring fixed. Called a few uhual locations and all have to wait a few days. Finally this location told me to bring my car in and have a look.When I got in, the lady didn’t quite understand my issue, immediately Robert, who stood behind her, put down his lunch and step forward to help me. He’s not the most experienced in trailer light wiring. But he was willing to ask his colleague questions and proceed with trouble shooting the issue. Finally he replaced the wiring with no cost(I bought warranty). I am very thankful for Robert’s great customer service.

Ive rented several times and just today realized I always have a great experience with these guys. Always have what I reserved or better, quality equipment and no drama at checkout or check in. Keep up the good work!

Nice hospitality and helpful service, however, the installation of hitch and attaching trailer to a new car I brought went wrong and they didnt care to inform me. Upon reported, I was asked to contact their insurance and shown no apology! Otherwise they are nice people.

I rented from this location for 5 weekends in a row. The first time I used my credit card to reserve. The other 4 times, I was not asked or did not leave my credit card information to reserve.This last time, gentleman by the name of Mike would not rent to me without my credit card info. He said they do not rent without having it. I told him I have not given it the last 4 times. Instead of stating a policy that this was done a certain way, he simply said he cannot rent it to me. I said ok then and proceeded to call another location without giving my credit card information.

Arrived at 9am and was told hitch installation would take 1-2 hours. 2 1/2 hours went by and when I asked how much longer they said no idea we will call you when it’s done. I’ve been sitting here for 2 1/2 hours waiting now I have to call someone to get me and have wasted this time sitting here waiting. If it’s going to take 3-4 hours be honest! Frustrated.

We originally had our hitch and wiring done at this location. This was fine. Then we need to change our 4 flat wiring to a 7 round wiring. We took our vehicle back to UHaul and they installed a combo of the two so we could use both types of plugs. When we tried to use the plug, it didnt work-for either the flat or round. I returned to UHaul to see why it wasnt working, they refused to look at the wiring/plug without charging me. They said something may have blown. But they wouldnt even look at it to see. I took it to them and it was working just fine. They installed a new part and it wasnt working. They should stand behind their work. Furthermore, a few weeks later, I noticed the wires hanging from the underside of my vehicle and DUCT TAPE. They used duct tape to keep the wires held up under the vehicle! Im not sure if this is typical, but it just doesnt seem like it is. I am very disappointed with how they handled the work they did on the car. If I have to pay someone to even look at it, it certainly wont be them!UPDATE: We had to have our wiring fixed, but we werent going to put it back in their hands. Its rather challenging to find a place to work on the wiring. We ended up going to the UHaul on Florida Ave., near Busch Blvd. Wow! The service was great and the work was of far better quality! The drive out there was worth it.

I selected the Gunn Hwy location for dropping off a trailer. I was attended in a quick and efficient manner. I have used this location in prior rentals would use this location again.

My brother in law made a reservation for a truck the day before and without notice it was cancelled. They claimed they left a voicemail, but how? My voicemail is not set up! When he called the 1800 number, they resolved everything and told me to pick up a truck near by. I arrive in the store and the customer service was trash. Got here, no greeting. When they unwantingly called me up after a few minutes, theyre on their phones. Im in front of the guy and FIVE minutes after not talking to me he says sorry server issues You got to be kidding me.

Received a quote over the phone for a trailer hitch, wiring harness, and installation. The guy on phone says they may not be able to get quick connect wiring harness but no problem price will be what he quoted or less if they have to hardwire the harness. I get first appt of day this morning and go in.Guy at the counter says they could not get harness the hardwire cost will be a labor charge of $80. I told him what the quote on the phone was. Does not care, he said he did not quote it. I said they should honor the price they quoted. He says do you have the phone conversation in writing. BAIT AND SWITCH. They do not honor their word. Quote one thing, change price when you arrive for installation. I walked away. I refuse to do business and give money to someone who does not keep their word. I dont care if he personally did not give me the quote. I dont care if the other guy made a mistake. I do care that the smart ass do you have it in writing, was calling me a liar. I do care that it was their employee who gave me the quote and they should have kept their word. The difference in money was actually minor $45. Honesty was the question not dollars, crap customer service.UPDATE: Someone called me from this U Haul 2 hours after I got home and said I could come back in and they would do it for the quoted price. I told him no thanks, did not want to do business with them and I would find someone else.

Good storage place. Service is consistently slower than it needs to be.

Not just storage units and truck rentals. They also install hitches. And sell propane. The store has tons of moving supplies - tape, boxes, straps, hitch accessories, you name it. Yes, theyre busy, but the staff is friendly.

Worst customer service, they dont explain how the 24 hour works and right in the middle of the storage move in , access got suspended. The GM is the worst person inhuman person. I got engorged trying to get help for nothing, now he wanted me to lose work, not feed my son , and in top of that go to the hospital.

Rented a truck to move a dresser. The truck they gave us had a whole pool of water in the back, so they blew out the back for us to make sure we wouldnt damage our furniture.

Its a truck Rental place and you can get packing supplies but not accurate when you do your reservations online.

Run very well, friendly staff and plenty of trucks available when we needed ours.

They have the cheapest moving/storage boxes we found, whether or not youre renting a vehicle. Also, there is literally no reason to buy individual boxes, because buying by the 20-count (or whatever the stack is) is cheaper, then you can just return anything you dont use for the full price you paid. So, always buy the cheaper quantity!
