They only get one star because it wont allow me to post with zero stars.I moved from PA to FL in August. The company used in PA was great but then they handed off to Allied who then showed up without giving us the 24 hour notice they said they would, the drivers were very rude. When they put the boxes into my new house they didnt follow the map I created for them, fine not a problem I can move boxes. But they did toss them about and not have a care about what they were destroying. Because they showed up a day early they had to put my items into storage and now Im missing at least 5 boxes from my home office which included books and financial papers and a bin filled with Christmas decorations. When I reached out to have them look for my belongings where they stored them I was told it was not possible. How is it not possible??? They know where they picked up the load from, it was all tagged so it could be tracked and kept together, they know what unit it was stored in - how can they NOT locate what is missing? How are they not responsible for missing items because I opted out of their outrageous insurance??In the end most of my glassware was broken including my dishes, items from Greece that cannot be replaced and many other items that were older and not able to be replaced. The pics are only some of the damaged items. Some of the glasses were shattered into the tiniest pieces. Made no sense how some items broke in one box while others were fine. I’ve maxed many times from state to state so the packing was not the issue.THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!! If it can be avoided DO NOT USE ALLIED! I wish I had just rented a truck and drove it down myself.

Allied move us from Florida to Texas. Very Happy. The driver Jose was very knowledgeable, friendly, had good communication and was very prompt in his timing. The salesman Todd Trotter was very professional , good communication and answers to all ours questions. Thank you for an easy moving.

Picked up, handled and stored our household goods timely and carefully, despite having handled everything six times. Only minimal damage, and two lost items.

The crew we had was great! Professional, courteous, efficient. Our packers, Joe & Junior, were great! David and his crew did an excellent job loading. David and the crew at our destination were fantastic, too. Each group was on time, very careful and organized. I will definitely recommend Allied to others!

This whole experience started with Larry. He was so helpful-right up front with prices and delivery. On moving day, Edgar and his dad were wonderful! They packed everything with care and professionalism. The day of delivery went so smooth!! Edgar and his team unloaded all of my things in the pouring rain. They took careful care of my floors and the furniture.Of course it goes without saying that Ally kept me posted every step of the way!!Great job, Great employees Great company!!Thank you so much!!!

They are not a company I would ever recommend to anyone they got $ 1289 out me and sent the roadrunner movers to my home and I paid them $913 to move my things to Texas I was in for a month never having my things delivered, I came back to California ask to return my things to the address they originally pick up my things and they expected me to pay the remaining balance of $ 397 before they would return my things, my items never even had left California, then when they did bring my things back my 42in RCA TV was missing, my brand new Jenson stereo was missing and my 19in top loading cd TV was also missing so Im out $ 2200 for what? To have both these companies to take money and my things never even left California and to either keep or lose my items, this is how they treat senior citizens with disability,

The worst experience possible by movers was with Allied theve damaged our furniture both antique and modern they were 5 days late they screwed us on our weight they screwed us with there supposed white glove movers literrally watched men with 2 pieces of furniture on in each hand were missing property on top of that and after almost a $17,000. move from Tampa to West TX weve waiting 9 months for a settlement, our entertainment system is not put together our tables & chairs patio furniture my golds gym all still waiting to be assembled I hope you read this and change your mind before hiring them because I can verify over $8000 in damages theve offered $1100.00!Youre in for a beating if you use these people unless your military or purchase a lot of extra Insurance they talked us out of Military is the only population they care of and there cream and butter.Your in for an absolute nightmare!Jeff Forshee

We had a small move (15 boxes and one furniture item, a standing jewelry cabinet) from Orlando to Boston. We were told we would have a 2 day notice before delivery. We were given the date of July 24. On Monday the 20th, we were told the delivery would be in 18 hours. Had to hire someone since my daughter had planned her trip based on what we were told. Stuff got there, jewelry stand completely broken, big box with almost every item of clothing and all her shoes not delivered. About half the stuff in there was bought in the last 6 months, for her new professional life in the cold. Will update this review after claim is settled.

Our driver, Lawrence, was awesome. He was right on time picking up our household items and delivering them to their destination. All of the workers were very nice and efficient.

Every part of this move was great and was not stressful at all. I would choose Allied again and again. I have moved many times and it has never gone so smoothly from the packing to the delivery.

The packing was worse than awful. They told us they would arrive between 8:00 and 10:00 however didn’t show up until 2:00 and didn’t start until 2:30. They packed close to 11,000 ponds of goods in 2-1/2 hours?? Must have been anxious to finish by 5:00?Then when everything arrived; all of our close we’re a complete mess. No care at all. Absolutely horrible!!!The boxes were marked however made no sense. Kitchen items in with bedroom items etc. Also absolutely horrible!!!The driver and his crew in Florida and in Georgia were the opposite. They’re the very best. A wonderful experience.We called the office this morning to explain and ask about picking up the left over materials. They told us they’d charge us and would call us back. They have not called and we’re not paying one more penny. We should be reimbursed for our dry cleaning and and agrivation.

They were very efficient and I got everything that I shipped. My furniture cane thru without a scratch. Will use them again if the need comes up.

Everything was good, up to delivery day.Three of my lampshades had been shipped one inside of the other and they were stuck. Since they were packed by Allied, I thought they would be unpacked and that my lamps would have been put together. They werent.After the movers left, I noticed that the shelves to my bookcase were missing. I had to run out to stop them from leaving. The bookcase was dismantled by Allied, I thought it would be put together by Allied. It wasnt.I also thought that I would be checking off boxes and items as they were delivered. That option was not offered and when I asked about it, I was told the driver was checking things off. Evidently not.

They were extremely courteous, kind and prompt. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Everyone we came in contact with were kind and had great communication. The pickup and delivery teams were fast and personable. They made sure everything was taken care of to our approval. I would recommend Allied to anyone needing a caring company to move their household!

Miscommunication about pickup date. Initially was called day before to confirm for next day. Morning of move - was told they were not coming and that there was a miscommunication between the team that was handling my move and the operations department. Once movers arrived the next day, everyone was very courteous and took great pride in their work and were very respectful of my belongings. Emanuel and David in Orlando & Warren, Danny & E.J up north were all great to work with.

Beware !!! Hired Allied to move from FL to another state. They packed the truck with little regard as to how their packing would damage things ex: stacked a nightstand on top of a dresser that was not wrapped with any moving blanket(s). Boxes were marked with LARGE arrows showing which way to stack the FRAGILE items and when the movers were unloading the truck it was discovered that those items had been packed upside-down resulting in damage!! Poor truck packing also caused a dresser to be punctured by a item leaving a HOLE in the back of it, along with several other furniture pieces being damaged. Overall, they did a terrible job of caring for our items, which caused damage beyond what the insurance will cover. Never use them again!!

Horrible move. Packing was a joke and items were just thrown into boxes and not one scrap on bubble wrap was used. Missing boxes and overpayments have not been received and it has been 6 months!!! Their claims department is no help at all, deny your claims and offer no explanation for their conclusion or proof of investigation. They put all the blame on you for not giving information EXACTLY as they require and expect you to remember when and where missing items were purchased and use that as excuse to deny your claim. One of my items that was denied is a ladder that they have ADMITTED is in their warehouse yet they have denied our claim and have not sent it to us. Never in my life have I dealt with such a unprofessional and unhelpful company .

Had to file a claim for some items and claim was denied due to not annotating on paperwork the number on the box/container that was damaged let alone missing the container that didn’t make it to our new home., all of this should have been done prior to truck leaving our home. We were not informed that this had to be done at the time of delivery nor did anyone mention this to us during our contact with several individuals. We have moved several times throughout out military career and in our civilian life. So I can sum my experience up to still living and learning.

I gave the company 5 stars when I moved from MA to FL. When I moved to another part of FL and used the same company however, my experience was vastly different.The move itself was fine, except for the fact that an antique dresser from the 1800s was broken by a mover. They apologized and expressed that if I filed the damage with Allied, I would get the dresser repaired.I filed back in May. It is now September, and the company has yet to respond back to me about fixing my antique.If you had asked me months ago, I would have recommended this company to you in a heartbeat. I was also planning to use them for my move to FL to Canada. But now that theyve broken precious furniture and have refused to fix it for months on end? Forget it. Ill never use this company again, and will tell anyone I know who plans on moving to avoid this company like the plague. I suggest you do the same.

I would have given the company 5 stars, but when our items arrived in Japan; many were found to be broken or missing. All of my husbands CGC graded comics are missing. It took a lot of time and money to build that collection.
