The whole team there was very kind. Even when I started to get a little agitated from the time it was taking and the property tax bill on the new ride due. They worked with us and helped us get into this stunning new ride! Thanks to Joey and team for the wonderful service they did! I was a tad bit hesitant on taking my car to a dealership, however this dealership was amazing. The staff was great, the service was extremely fast. Without having a clue what was wrong with my car they not only found the problem but fixed it all within 3 days. Let’s be honest the pricing was my biggest issue. But it was an extremely fair price for all the parts and the labor they put in within a very fast time frame. My car actually runs better than it has in years and my only regret was not taking it to them sooner.

AVOID THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! Was belittled by service advisor while my car was in for routine maintenance. He could not believe I updated my infotainment unit at home. wasted my time and your shops time by installing it after I told them not to. Claimed I needed a $10k computer to complete it and it was impossible for me to do. Waited over two hours for what should’ve been a 45 min visit max. To top it all off, when my car was finally completed, they just rudely handed me my keys and told me they’d mail my paperwork. Worst customer service I have ever experienced at a dealership.

Great experience.Car acquired some issues while driving on the highway. Car was dropped off at the dealership for repairs by tow truck. The next day the service personnel was quick to text and provide various solutions to the problem. Service was quick and communication was awesome!

I have never gotten such great service from a dealer before! Kyle was amazing and made sure I was taken care of, as well as show me exactly everything they did on my ‘15 sti. Cody also made it super easy to understand the break down of everything I was paying for, and I knew I wasn’t getting ripped off. (Which has happened to me at other dealers before). I will be coming back here from now on, because out of the 5 Subaru dealers I have brought my car too, this one is by far the best! I won’t be taking my Subaru anywhere else.

The team was very helpful and throughout. Also, they provided us with a detail handout of what was done and what was found. They explained everything. Wed been looking at purchasing a Subaru for a while, but had been putting off the process because we knew it to be long and exhausting - that definitely wasnt the case at Subaru South Tampa! Alden, our salesperson, was so great to work with. He was very straightforward, honest, and felt like an old friend. We cant put into words how thankful we are - he was the perfect fit to sell us a vehicle! He worked to get us the best deal and made the whole experience enjoyable and fun. No games and very little back and forth to get the deal we wanted. We went looking for a 2021 car, but ended up purchasing a certified pre-owned 2018 Subaru Crosstrek with about 20k miles on it because we couldnt pass up the deal and the car was in pristine condition. We absolutely love love LOVE our new vehicle and it literally has everything we wanted in a new car! Julio, the finance director, is a pleasure to work with, as well, and laid everything out as-is and explained everything thoroughly and honestly. I finalized everything by myself because my husband had to work and I felt completely comfortable and didnt feel intimidated signing on my own. Id recommend Subaru South Tampa over and over again! While on vacation in Florida from Colorado, my 2001 Legacy started acting up then completely died and wouldn’t start. Subaru South Tampa got it in quickly and got it running right away. I was late getting there due to traffic, yet the service department had made arrangements for me to pick the car up after they had closed. I have been a customer here for almost 16 years. I always liked the Sales Department but sometimes the Service Department was awful. I really want to say how much that has changed. When I had my car serviced last week I couldnt believe how different the experience was. The Service Department was amazingly helpful, responsive, professional and courteous. They were so great. Subaru of South Tampa is a great little dealership. We were able to get the vehicle we wanted at just about the price we wanted during these hectic pandemic auto price times. Like any auto buying experience, one has to haggle a deal. The haggling wasnt all that bad. They gave a pretty good offering and were wilking to adjust a little even when we were there way past closing time. I dont think many places would have done that, especially knowing the prices vehicles are going for and how fast new vehicles are going for. But they did, and the whole process took roughly 4 hours from arriving to leaving with a new vehcle. Melissa Bruce our sales agent was very friendly, kind, and attentive. Even when the initial offer and subsequent offers were made. We are just over whelmed with joy for our new vehicle. Will definitely keep this dealership in mind next time we are in the business of purchasing a vehicle. We are happy with this experience and cant wait to put this vehicle to use with many, many trips.

I must admit that I do not know the reasons but lately when I go back for service and seek out my sales person they no longer work there. It has happened three times in a short period of time. I had a really loving car buying experience here. Candy the salesperson who I fist contacted over the phone was incredibly nice, but most importantly honest and fair. I really recommend seeking her out if your are in the market for a Subaru. They also have a great selection of used vehicles.On the financial end the same can be said about my experience with Julio. He was a gentleman, he made things very clear, and did not try to push anything on me. It was a great experience, and that just doesnt happen often when purchasing a car. I drove from another county because of the car, but I would do it again for the service provided.

It was convenient and made the process very seamless—no time wasted waiting around all day. I was still able to accomplish what I needed to do! We like South Tampa Subaru but had a so so experience today with the service department. That’s why it’s only 3 stars. My wife went in with a coupon for oil change and tire rotation and instead a 12,000 mile service was done and a cabin filter was replaced sounds ok but filter was changed just 6 months ago and 4,000 miles ago. The charge was almost $50 extra dollars. We did call to complain and I give South Tampa Subaru credit, the service writer did agree to issue a refund for the cabin air filter. I hope this was a honest mistake and not up selling.

Nothing compared to the Subaru with price, safety features, warranty AND awd. Every dealership we went to was using the “chip shortage” and “car shortage” to take advantage of the customers. Not this dealership, I paid the same price as the Subaru website, no games. We were so impressed with them that we reserved another Subaru for our daughter that is being delivered in 2 weeks. 😁

I bought my Forester from Maestro 6 years ago, and other than today, Ive only ever had one not-great service experience. But today was the worst and I will never be back. I came in for regular service and to have my AC looked at, 3/4 vents have been running only slightly cool. They eventually told me that there was a problem and it would be $3000 to replace it. What they failed to tell me was that they could not put freon back into the system, and if I chose not to spend 3K I would be left without ANY A/C at all. After driving away and realizing I was getting only warm air, I went back, to be told I was SOL. I will be purchasing another car this year, and Subaru is now off my list.

I’m concerned because my Forester is less than two years old with mostly highway miles (39,000) and today a throttle body cleaning was recommended by South Tampa Subaru. My internet search says that is normally at 75,000 miles. I hope this is not a sign the new owners are pushing maintenance work but something isn’t right.

Larry was amazing, from start to finish. Called to see if I needed to make an appt and was told no, just come in anytime. Came in 2 days later for an oil change and tire rotation, found out there was a recall as well. He kept me updated and I was in/out in adequate time. Just moving from out of state, I had also called the other Subaru dealership in Tampa and was told it would be 3 weeks for an oil change!! Subaru of South Tampa will be my go-to from this day forward. Great service, and friendly staff.

Dealer is excellent. I have an issue with Subaru. Replaced condenser on AC May 28 th of 2021. Today September 10 th 2021 I had to replace the evaporator and compressor. Dealer was kind to me and split the bill with me. Evaporator should have been replaced at same time as condenser, would have saved the compressor. This should have been covered by Subaru

We bought our Forester back in 2014 and have been going back for oil changes and service ever since. They have free oil changes for life, which is really nice. Each time I have gone, the service has been completed in less than an hour. They have a nice lounge with snacks and the people working there are friendly. Id definitely recommend.

I had the 60k miles service done. They make easy. I scheduled an appointment online 3 or 4 days ahead for 7:30 AM. The 60k maintenance takes awhile, lots of stuff. So they let me have a loaner car so I could go to work. No charge for the loaner, just put gas in. Nice loaner! Practically new 2021 Outback XT! Matt called me about noon to let me know they were finished and I could pick my car up anytime before 5:00 PM. Matt is very courteous and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions, and sometimes I can ask a lot of questions! When I take my car to Subaru South Tampa I don’t have to worry about anything. I know they will do everything right.

I had an appointment for 10AM, arrived at.10:01 and was immediately checked in and the car was in que. They said the time estimate was 1.5 hours which was exactly what it took. Friendly and fast service department. I’ve never had trouble making an appointment, they do a through inspection but don’t upswell unnecessary repairs and their prices are fair. The waiting area is clean and chairs are well spaced to observe social distancing. Everyone wears masks and guests are required to wear them too. If you don’t feel comfortable inside they have benches outside for you to wait too. We’ve brought our Subaru here for every service it’s ever needed and they’ve always taken good care of our car. They also don’t leave a mess behind in the car which I appreciate.
