Found this place via Carguru.com. Paid a deposit on two different vehicles of $500 each. The dealer lied about financing, so we went with Carvana instead. Ali the owner has kept our deposit and say he wont give it back to us because we didnt ask him nicely enough. Hes a thief and liar #checkautoAliisacriminal #cargurusucks

Inquired about a $124,000 car. Although, car is listed on their website, there was very little follow up from the dealer on my desire to see the vehicle. I was given the number to the owner of the vehicle who made no attempt to call me back. When I informed the dealership, they indicated they would reach out to him, but I never heard back. Horrible customer service for a car selling at $125k.

It is places like this the give Small time, Local Used Car Dealerships a BAD name. Bought an X5. The salesman said it was a great running, super clean non-smoker vehicle. NOT TRUTHFULL on all accounts. Car was filthy inside, even after I had them keep it longer to detail. Smoke residue all over EVERYTHING when I wiped it down. Within 10 days of driving it off their lot I have put $3,500 into it after it broke down 2X on the way to work. All work for repairs were performed by a certified BMW repair shop. They added it to the CarFax VIN record.Took 30 days for license to arrive and had to call them to remind them of the plate.

Bought a 2004 BMW 325i from Check Auto. I flew in, someone from the Dealership came and picked me up from the airport. Car was mostly as-described (tires and brakes were rather worn, not a big deal). Transaction smooth, and dealer was very helpful a week later when I needed an additional form to complete the title process in my state.

Purchased a 2005 Jaguar here fir a great deal. So far the car has met every expectation and I wont hesitate to buy another car here. Ali and Junior were a pleasure to do business with on every aspect of the deal!

BUYER BEWARE!!! I put a 4000$ payment down on a BMW X5 that I had to return back to them within the first 2 weeks of me having it. The owner Ali sent me to this shoddy mechanic named Alex who gave me the run around for 8 months before I finally had enough and washed my hands of this whole situation. No type of compensation or replacement was offered for the money I spent, and I’m sure once Alex does get the X5 fixed Ali will have it back on the lot for another sorry soul that thinks they’re getting a good deal.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! Called about the BMW X5. Asked if they would be willing to provide me with a carfax before I would purchase. The guy told me he doesn’t use carfax and I could pay for one if I wanted to but why would I pay for a carfax on a vehicle I don’t yet own? So I said well the seller should be willing to provide to make a sale but then he hung up on me! Very unprofessional!🤔 Obviously they are hiding something. I read the other review on here and put this together that this is the same BMW X5 this other guy had for 2 weeks and returned. Don’t fall for their scams! Read the other reviews!

Stay away from this place. Ali will sell you junk every chance he gets. He sold me a car with rusted and crimped rear brake lines. Bad hubs on both sides and did not disclose any of this info on as is sold car. Pay attention to these reviews. And not the reviews that he has his friends post to make it seem like he sells good cars. He buys bs from auctions and does nothing about looking into any previous problems on the cars and sells them to you at a marked up price letting you drive aways with the issues to put a dollar in his pocket. I drove from out of town to get a car with a clean carfax and he let me drive it away 1000 miles with no brakes its a wonder the hubs didnt lock up. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Dishonest. Would not trust. Purposely did not disclose mold and electrical issues with vehicle. Update: filling claim against their surety carrier. Also filled a complaint with FLA Dept of MV. Recieved car, holes drilled in exhaust pipes due to plugged catalytic converters. Was told both had just been replaced prior to purchase. Pictures are worth a thousand words, thats why I went and posted these. Ozteke is not someone I would recommend buying a vehicle from.

Super happy with my car

We have been talking to the sales guy Ali for the past couple of weeks and he kept saying the car was in detail and would not be able to see it until today. We went to look at it and as soon as we opened the door, the whole door panel fell off. He tried to downplay it and stated it was just a bad clip, even though there was duct tape around the whole door holding it together. The battery terminal was held on by a pair of vice grips. The whole running board was bent from an accident, and he tried to downplay everything stating that it was normal wear and tear. Said he spent $3,000 at Lexus to get in Tip-Top shape. This company has nothing but garbage on their lot. Typical shyster. Do not waste your time here.

Everyone be careful. Personal experience Buying car from Ali (owner). I drove home and next day dash showing check engine light.take that to my old friend shop. He found out many many problems.such like Oil gallery gasket. Motor valve seal is bad and many more. Cost me $2200.00 to repair. I’m not fed up or anything because I have some saving that I can use.but I still want to try to call him to see what he can do about it. Just communicate less than 2 minutes all he said he can’t do anything about it. And hang up. Even though we sign SOLD AS IS. Just want to share my experience to all you guys. Hope you can reconsidering to buy the car from this dealer.

Bad bad bad bad!!! My husband and I sat outside in the boiling hot sun for almost 30mins while the owner stood on the other side of the road having an argument on his phone. He saw us but NEVER once acknowledged us or said hed be right with us, nothing. In fact he kept walking further away to tell into his phone. He looked up at us and knew we were waiting in the heat to see a specific car. We couldnt just drive off at the time as we had caught an Uber there to see the car, so we waited and waited until the rudeness was just too much and we called another Uber and went somewhere else! Totally rude people!

Do NOT get a car from here. Just purchased a 2011 Hyundai Elantra and I’ve only had it a week. Online it states that everything is fully functional (windows, car features, etc.) and when I went to test drive, the driver window does NOT work at all and Ali said the window would be fixed and the car would be detailed before I came back to pick the car up. Also the website stated that my tires had about 79% tread life left and one of my tires went bad today. My front and rear lights also went bad in which I test drove it and the lights were fine... only to find out the lights in the front were disconnected. They also told me the shocks would be replaced before I went back to pick up the car and they were NOT. This place is dishonest, disgusting, and PLEASE take your money elsewhere.

Very happy with my experience at this dealership. They had us in our new Jeep Grand Cherokee in less then two hours. They were well organized and took care of everything. Price was the best we found from Tampa to Orlando, and they had reasonable dealer, tag, and registration fees. Which is hard to find nowadays.

I am a real person and I have to say this was a great experience. My jeeps transmission died on me and I always wanted a second car because I work at least a hours drive from my home. I saw a MINI online that I wanted in the color I wanted at check auto. Met some of the guys whom were all super nice. Looked at the car and drove it...loved it. My dad made me have our mechanic friend check it out and he gave it the thumbs up! I went to my bank and their interest rates were kinda high so Ali suggested some credit unions which gave me a whole 1% lower! Ali is smart, to the point, and VERY busy LOL. He got me in and out after i decided on the financial route i wanted to take. He made a plan to help me drop off my rental car and got me in the MINI of my dreams for a great price! Thanks to Ali and your great staff of guys!

Very pushy. Had to purchase the car online due to distance. Lied about damage. Car had clearly been in a minor collision contrary to their claim. The car I purchased had massive water and electrical problems that they failed to mention. The exhaust was destroyed despite the fact that the dealership claimed to have rebuilt it. The car is so far gone I cant legally get it running to take it to a repair shop. They were pushy and made me sign a 10 page contract without answering my questions. I nearly didnt buy and I shouldnt have. Dont trust any of them. Theyre one of those really sketchy used car dealers. My car will never run right due to it clearly being subject to massive water damage (probably flood) despite having a clean title.

You can find all sorts of cars from American muscle to cheap and affordable ones. One of the best car dealerships on North Florida avenue.

Went looking for a VW minivan on the internet and the salesman recommended me a Caravan. He claimed that it was in better condition and that their mechanics did a complete check. Long story short, the van was leaking water into the radiator and it overheated within the first week and the lifters were wore out. The is still at the shop fixing the heads. If you are looking for an honest car dealership, go somewhere else.

After a bit of research I ended up going to Check Auto looking for a car. The owner happened to be onsite and he was not only fair but willing to help me find the right car to buy for my mom. He suggested something safe, sleek and reasonably priced. After some decisions I ended up buying a Jeep from them and since then I have had no issues with the car and it still runs perfectly (8 months later)! Highly reccomend for finding a good car for a good price from a reliable source!

I have had problems since day 1 with this place. Ali the owner is a scam artist. Dont agree to give him the card info for payments. He will charge your card whenever he pleases. The day after I got the car is when the problems started. The battery died. I had to go back and get a new one. I have replaced 3 tires, the battery twice, the alternator, the starter, and the radiator. 550 dollars down the drain. He has taken 200 without my permission and then when I asked him to take the car back, we set up a time and he said it would be 30 dollars for a tow truck. I agreed. He never showed. Then today he took it into his own hands and charged my card 650, making me negative 575 in the bank. The guy screams and curses at his employees and they hate him. Hes rude and arrogant. Im filing a police report and plan to take legal action and go to the news as well. Avoid him at all costs lest you get sold a junker and have your money stolen too.

I bought a 2005 Infiniti g35 from this place. Recently, I took my car to his shop for a simple oil change and tune up. Not even a week later my car starts to make these strange movements. Lift up my hood and see missing screws didn’t even change the air filter power duct cover was out of place. HORRIBLE SERVICE

I bought a scion from here about 4 months ago, since then I had to buy a new alternator, rotors, struts, brakes and replace the mirror & my tail gate latch and can’t forget about replacing the wires that had tape all over them up under the hood. the process was easy yes but I knew that no deal could be that easy I had a gut feeling there was something major wrong with the car but I couldn’t put my hand on it. O and today at the mall in the parking lot I ran into the person that bought my car I traded in (which he got off me for 400 and told me he was going to sell the car for parts) and I had to stop him to inform him that the transmission had gone out of the car and the exhaust and etc which he informed me he had just replaced the alternator in it all I’m saying is save your self the headache ! ✌🏾

Please do not buy a car from here! Cars seem cheap but it is all a scam. They are VERY shady, they makes posts acting like private sellers selling a vehicle but are a shady company. Would not give me an address until right before I was going up there and needed it. They likely did not want me to look up this place. Most of these reviews must be fake like others have stated. When we got there to look at the car we wanted, it did not start. It had to be jumped twice and were told this was normal since the cars just sit around here. Ok.... still not professional, this car should have been ready on the spot for us to drive it, not behind other cars, dirty outside from sitting around, etc. They do not have dealer tags so we could not drive the car other than down one small street next to the place, where there are not even any speed bumps (helpful in testing breaks/shocks/other things when you go over them). Car seemed ok but had a weird hum which we werent sure was normal or not. Upon driving it for a 3rd time, since we wanted to try it one last time, the A/C and radio were not working the whole drive. The seller was VERY pushy and assuring us we could get no better price for the vehicle. He said they sell all of their cars for cheap, because they buy them from auction and just flip them for $300-$500 so they can get cars out quick. Obviously, they are not even good at that since they have SO many dusty cars sitting around this little tiny lot that not one other person was at. And they must not be mechanically checking them at all because they most definitely would have issues to be addressed, and the guy told me we needed to get an oil change when we bought it. Thank GOD we did not buy from here. And dont get me wrong, the guys seem nice enough but are out to get you.

Most of the reviews for this company are fake!!! This guy is a scam artists, a crook, a liar, you get the point..... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY/COMPANY whatever. After taking a recently bought, then broken down car (1 week) a REAL mechanic found thousands of dollars worth of issues this guy hid. He refused to answer ALL calls/texts about said vehicle.

Talk to eli and a sells man for almost two weeks about a 2012 bmw 750li creme color drove one hour away , walk in some guy says ohhh you know the air bag light is on rite ????wait two weeks just now you are telling me this , two different tires in the front , driver front tire all damage , all four rotors damage with scratches , eli was super rude just because I didn’t wanna buy the car , over the phone because he wasn’t even there , i know its a use old car but how are you gonna sell a car with problems and damage with out been clear or open about it it seen so shady, if you gonna buy a car from this guys make sure you take a mechanic they are shady

One of the most reliable and affordable dealership in Tampa area, the owner Ali is always doing his business with passion, I have purchased almost 3 cars in 2 years. Did I have any problem with the cars, OFCOURSE because I bought AS IS used car, but the most important part is when I told Ali that I was stuck on the I-275 within 45 minutes he sent me the Tow Truck to help me out, I dont think anyone had a dealer owner sending them tow truck 11pm. I highly appreciate his business and help, just because of the business and his personality 3 of my other friends bought cars from Ali and they didnt have any problem so far. Thank again Ali...

Very horrible business practices. I went there on Aug 15_2016 to purchase a vehicle. I arrived at 10:16 , they were scheduled to open at 10:00am but the gates were closed and chained. I spoke with Ali. He informed me he was less then 10mins away. I waited until 11:00 to call to see where he was but he didnt answer. I was sent to voicemail. I was very interested in that particular car which is why I waited. But after 11:30, NO ONE hadnt showed up and I decided that was enough.And then later that night around 10 pm he started texting me. The next day he kept calling ONLY to ask why had I posted a BAD REVIEW because before Aug 15th, they HAD NO reviews. Now all of a sudden within the last week, they have 3 good reviews. Hmmm, yeah right. This is a horrible business. The guy (ALI) kept yelling at me saying he didnt deserve a bad review. Not once did he mention the car I showed interest in. Keep in mind I wasted so much time, money, and just all around energy on this place. Smh.
