What a difference, I came to this dealer after a horrible experience with another dealer. I explained my experience and Jason Gomez asked if I can stop by. He wasn’t “persistent” in a negative way and his online price was very competitive. A few days later the car was still available and I decided to go see him.Upon our arrival, they offered us refreshments and asked if we needed anything, I simply asked for Mr. Gomez. After greeting us, we sat down with him and briefly spoke numbers, unlike other dealers. Their price wasn’t deflated with qualifying offers that most people don’t qualify for. After agreeing on price they assisted my mother with an interest rate under 3%, vs the other dealer offering 6.99.As I already knew the car I wanted to purchase, we were in and out under 4 hours. Their price at the time was the best I could find on autotrader. The finance department was also straight forward. They weren’t overbearing or overzealous in trying to sell us things we didn’t need. I was looking for a new suv at the dealers in the Tampa Bay Area, came by one day and I didn’t get the best experience with the sales guys they were asking me for a down payment over $6k and a monthly payment over $600, it definitely felt like they didn’t want to help, all he cared about it was the deal and selling the car, I had to walk away, few day after I went back with my fiancé for a oil change of his car, and we saw Evelyn, and I asked my fiance, isn’t that the lady that your family always buy the cars from? Long story short we talk to her I told her what numbers I was looking for, I told her I didn’t wanted to waste her time or mine, she give me a few quotes showed me the suvs she had and honestly I couldn’t had ask for a better sale person! I hate dealing with the back-and-forth of the dealers staff but she took care of everything, she was definitely on point, I completely recommend everyone go see her if your thinking on buying or leasing a car, since I left the dealer she had called me 3 time asking me how’s everything with the car if I’m happy or if I need anything. I have bought two vehicles from Courtesy in the past. I was starting the process of purchasing the third. I found a vehicle that my wife really liked. I gave the my trade-in info to the salesmen but they came back way under the value for the vehicle. They advised me that I should go to CarMax down the road to see what they would give me and then come back and buy the car with them. Both of the salesman I dealt with were very arrogant and rude and did not seem interested in retaining my business and trying to work out a deal. My previous dealings with the dealership have been easy and smooth but yesterday was the complete opposite. I will not be looking for future vehicles at Courtesy.UPDATE - 8/28/2021The GM called and said he wanted to try and earn our business back. I made an online service (by the way it was very easy )for oil change and what I believed was a non operating side mirror defroster. I was was greeted with a warm “ Good morning “by the lane tender, asked what brought me in this morning and did I have an appointment . Kindly directed me in to see any service advisor, Sergio greeted me with Good Morning Mr Iglesias and nice to see me again. So nice to be treated so kindly , Refreshing and the normal at Courtesy. Service took a bit but we’ll worth the wait. You need time to check and resolve my concerns right! I was called and service was reviewed. All working find and found to be operator error. If I could leave zero stars I would. My first and only experience with this dealership was when they sent me a recall notice for my 2016 Altima and offered me a free oil change for bringing my car in. When I tried to schedule, I was told i would be getting a call back from their Recall Team to schedule. I never received a call. Alter calling back two more times, i was told the same thing and again, over a week later, I received no call. I decided to call another Nissan dealership nearby and they offered to fix my recall and honor the free oil change and scheduled my repair for the next day. Obviously, this place is not being run very well if they cannot even honor the offers they are sending out to people. Needless to say, I will not be visiting Courtesy Nissan on my next vehicle purchase.

The experience I had was one to definitely remember. The salesman,Jason Gomes, was really nice. He kept asking me if everything was good. The only thing was… I was there for 7.5 hours. That was totally unacceptable. When you are there and buying a car I understand that it will take a while. However I already knew what I wanted. He already had the vehicle pulled up front I test drove the vehicle I came in and we started the process. 7.5 hours later I walked out of there. I came to this dealership after searching online for a car. Their online portal showed the exact car I wanted in the price I wanted to spend. I called ahead of time to confirm they had the vehicle. I arrived at the dealership less than 2 hours later and was advised that they could not sale that vehicle as it had to go to auction. I was disappointed but I said whatever and found something else on the lot i liked. I did purchase a used car and was told that because we were financing with a bank and not Nissan that I was required to buy an extended service package. I agreed to that. 60 days after I purchased the car I called to see what the service package covered as I was having an issue with the car. I was advised that I was sold an $1100 package that only covers oil changes. I was highly upset at that. I was then told that the bank does not require that to be an added part of the deal. I requested a refund. I submitted a refund request for them to send the money for the almost $1100 in oil changes on 08/09/2021, today is 10/09/2021 and the money has not been refunded. I emailed the rep that was handling several times to verify that the refund should be processing. On 09/13/2021 the rep Ryan advised that the refund would be processed by the end of the week. now almost a month later the refund has still not been received by the bank. I am highly disappointed in my experience and exchanges with Courtesy Nissan of Tampa.

I would not recommend doing business with this dealer. It is not a coincidence that all 4 purchase/lease interactions my household had with this place were more than disappointments. Bad sale practices, most of the employees have no professionalism whatsoever, they can and will drive you insane with the most despicable attitude if you are not foolish enough to fall for their tactics. Nissan and the FTC should perform a thorough audit of their business practices. One example: they will add thousands of dollars to the residual market value of your vehicle in case you plan to purchase the vehicle at the end of the lease period, this is in open violation of the signed lease contract where there is an already agreed upon price for your car. They also can go to the point where they try to force you to buy a Nissan Certified Warranty saying it is a requirement to purchase the vehicle, wish is a blatant lie because the warranty is optional. In any case, steer clear of this place or go prepare for the arduous task.

Terry Phillips is the man. He treated my 9 month wife and I like family, like hes known us our entire lives. He was straight to the point and very transparent. He did not try to get over on us instead he provided us with the best options that we deserved. He is knowledgeable on all cars, knows the ins and outs, and as your best interest at heart. Other dealerships were not trying to work with us, they tried to short change us and get as much as they could on the back end, but not terry. He puts his customers first before Him. I had a great time and my wife and I were out of there within 3 and half hours. Majority of the time was paperwork. He really did a great job, we told him what we wanted, what price range, and gave more than that. Thanks Terry! Hopefully hes still there when I want to get my truck in a few years.

Overall a good experience. Good negotiation with Management team for a final purchase of my vehicle. Only downside was that they didnt have my car cleaned very well once we finalized paperwork. They did make an effort to clean it after hours and return it to me. The only down side was that during the drive home, the tire shine used on the tires somehow made it all over the side of the vehicle. Overall, it was an OK expirience.

Walking in this morning to drop off my car for service I met quite possibly the rudest service advisor ever. She didnt look you in the eye, couldnt say good morning, and didnt even ask why I was there. All she said was Someone else will help you. Then a young man took my information and said have a seat. I asked where and not looking up he pointed over his shoulder and said In there. Between the two of them I was ready to walk out. Then Tasha texted me to come to her window to finish up my paperwork and get my ride to work. Not only was she friendly and smiling she was also extremely knowledgeable and efficient. She has been my service advisor in the past and it was great seeing that she was still there. My five stars go to Tasha, and only Tasha. Shes the reason I will return.

I’ve used this service center, in the past, and was somewhat satisfied. So, I made the mistake and came back again. This time, my service person was Tasha. She is very rude and condescending. Upon arrival, I was told, the wait was approximately two hours. So, I asked for a ride to the local mall. I was told, they couldn’t provide a ride. Since my repairs was only was $40, and a ride to the mall, would cost them the same. So I’m sitting here, watching people go and come for almost 3 hours, for a simpleoil change and a tire rotation. The worst service ever ever! Advise you, if you have other options, don’t come here. Myself, friends and family, will never come here again! Sorry, Terry Phillips, we will not be buying the 2022 Pathfinder. You was very kind and professional, but I nor my family will due business with this dealership, again.PS they didn’t even bring my car up to the front. I had to walk through the parking and find my keys.

I had an appointment at 745 for an oil change and I knew I needed at least two tires. After waiting almost two hours my advisor Jose informed me of everything I needed to do for my car. I agreed on four new tires and the oil change and alignment. I asked if the four tires were I stock; Jose called the parts department and they informed him they were. At 11am I was informed by Jose that the tires were not in stock and were ordered and on the way from the warehouse and would be another 30 minutes. At 1130am Jose informed me the tires were placed on the wrong truck and would not be there until 5pm. At that point my patience was gone and I was very upset at the miscommunication between departments. I understand things happen but there were events that occurred that shouldn’t have. I appreciate Jose for keeping me updated through it all but that whole situation has me not wanting to go back there for business. I told them to hold my tires until I can make it back on the 20th but after I get my tires I will take my service on my car to another dealer.

The wait may be longer than expected at times, but there is plenty to do in that area while waiting or other options if you don’t want to wait. Restaurants and nearby mall if you want to use a shuttle, but there are places within walking distance too. Take your pick!
