I came to see what should have been a reasonable car for a reasonable price, but the photos were deceptive.The car turned out to be a pos that should have been sent to auction at best.You just tried to up-sell me on a different car.

I would give my experience here ten stars if I could. Elvin and Cindy treated me like family. We found a car we liked for my son but while on a test drive the check engine light came on. We went ahead and purchased the car and waited for them to fix the problem. Well it ended up being a bigger issue than what was said but they did not stop trying to find out what was wrong. After having the car for a few days and taking it to several car mechanics the problem was finally solved. They did not give up and was willing to do whatever it took to have my son in a safe driving car. I even got a call the very next day making sure the car was still driving ok and that I didnt have anymore problems and if a problem was to come up to not hesitate to call them back. Ive bought many used cars in my life but I never felt more comfortable than at Skyway. Very caring and kind people.

Very small car lot. Hard to even park on the lot. Once they heard I wasn’t putting any money down they didn’t even try to sale meA car. I had just put $1500 down on a car and was waiting for my refund so I wasn’t about to lose anymore money in a car until It was returned. If they had they of went through the credit app they would of realized I make 50,000 a year. Probably more thenany of their regular customers and I live in a corporate apartment so I don’t pay cost ofLiving and I could afford it. But no problem. probably wasn’t the best deal to make. My issue is not getting an approval. Most people only want $1500 down from me WITH my openLoan. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.

I would definitely comment with 0 star if I could, I spent more than5000$ for the Toyota 2009 1week ago, and the pressure light is on, i filled the the car tires with air at the gas station and found the tire was leaking ,are you kidding me ,they sold the car with leaking tires !so I contacted Mike,he said just went to some grocery for a valve cap, only cost 1.5 $!are you considering me as an idiot??I went to the dealer again ,they were agreed to change the tire and took me to a motor repair shop, after a man checked ,he mentioned the front two tires needed to change. so they paid the two used tires.yes,changed with two used tires.however after changing these two tires ,the pressure light is still on.so we went back to manger, he asked us to come back for mechanic check during workday,since the guy who is responsible for mechanic check did not work during weekend, we went back again during workday.you know what ,the manger changed his words, and refuse to do anything!!!I tried to communicate with them, they refused to listen and Mike asked us to leave ,said they have changed the tires and we asked more!!!excuse me!!!because they did not solve the problem last time and it was the manager asked us to come back for mechanic check!!now they will not do anything!!!still said the car was in good condition !!!!we have came back twice after I bought the car within 1week.it seems that our time is worthless!!they are the god after I paid the money!!and this is the service they provide to the customer after I bought the car from this dealers.never ever go to that dealers !! worst experience forever!!!they said they made a mechanical check before sold!!then they definitely know the problems of the car, they still sold it without notifying us,, they are putting the customerss life into dangerous situation!!

I recently purchase a 2007 Infiniti G35 from Skyway and I am satisfied with the purchase for the most part. Low pressure sales environment and gave me the price I was looking for. Stylish car that will get me around for the next couple of years. Im going to get a what I think is minor issue checked out with Infiniti ( a stutter when the car accelerates from a rolling stop) but as of right now Im satisfied. Thank you!

I went in for a test drive with one of the associates, loved the car but the guy that came with me had the nerve to ask for sex for cash and he will get me a better deal on the vehicle, police report has already been filed and not sure if that guy is still working there or not, ladies I will defiantly watch out.

I even got a 45,000 mile 4yr full warranty on my car thats very rare for a used car dont mess with the rest call the best at skyway motors.

I am giving skyway motors this rating because of the different issues I had that should have been taken care of before I flew down from GA to purchase this car, mazada cx-5. Mine was totaled in a crash and I wanted the same car and color. When I landed I had a message telling me to call them that the engine light came on. The message was sent after my plane took off. In their defense they did offer to get it fixed the next day. That would have meant staying over night and waiting to get it fixed. I also had dogs crated at my house and had no arrangments for them to be looked after. Thank goodness I did not stay as it took mazada six days to get the part and installed. Main relay switch was out. The car would sometimes start and sometimes would not. They did sale me a warrenty and said it would be covered, so I drove back to GA thinking it was covered. Yes, I drove a car home that I could not turn off even to get gas. Because it may not have started again and I would have been stuck. Well, Royal, warrenty people, said it was not covered because it was pre-existing. So I had to pay a few hundred out of pocket and not have a car for six days. When I went to put the jumper cables in with the spare tire I found there was no spare tire. One comes with this car I had asked if there was anything missing from the car before I flew down. There was one cover I saw was missing and was able to get it from old car. I could have gotten the spare from the old car. But they choose not to look to see if everything was there that should have been. When I got intouch with them they said nothing about me having to pay to get main relay switch fixed and told me to buy a spare online or some tire place. So, now another hundred or so out of my pocket that should not have been. Never, did they offer any help with this. If I had not asked I would have chaulked it up, but I HAD asked. And had asked if car was in good condition. Well, I am finding out the hard way, it is not.Cindy was nice and gave a snack bag for my trip home. Mike was nice also. But, i should have been informed of all issues before I flew down.Be very careful if you buy a car from them and extra careful if you buy it out of state.

I would give them no stars if google would allow it.I bought a car from these people who took a loan from a bank that was forcing my boss to get a landline for a mobile business. When he refused they backed out of the deal and never told me. Skyway motors says it cause my boss refused to call the bank when in fact the bank called him and they spoke for three minutes. Seven days after not hearing from the bank or the car lot and without telling me they decided to get a loan from another bank and called me at 3:51PM in the afternoon they left a message with my work that I am to come in to fill out paperwork (I live an hour and a half away) not thinking it was important I planned to go there the next day at 9 AM. They took my car that night, in fact the repo guy showed up 2 hours after them leaving that message at my work leaving me stranded, not answering my phone calls and due to all the drama that they caused I lost my job! Finally two days after taking my car they call me and because of losing my job over this Skyway motors are refusing to return my car or any of my down payment money! They said they want me to pay for the repo and for them to clean my car and they’re charging me for mileage which apparently equals $2000.Poor business ethics! They are all about money and they will do whatever they can to take yours! DON’T NOT GO TO THIS CAR LOT!!!

AMAZING people and great place to find your next car

I bought a beutiful truck there about 2 months ago. After about 2000 miles the transmission needed a complete rebuild. I called several times and was told the owner would call me bsck. That never happened. Meanwhile im making payments and had to pay $3100 for transmission work. I would never go there to buy another vehicle and im telling everyone i know not to go there either

These people look caring when you first get there but after taking your money they are helpless, I bought a car from them with 96k mileages then after driving it for few month the car just jumped from 106.000k mileages to 176.000 k and I don’t drive it that much while my friend who bought his car with same mileage 3years ago has not reached that mileages yet he works far far away and he drives his car everyday , i can surely say that even their cars mileages are not accurate ,heartless people i wish I can give them 0 star

There are few things I loathe in life, one of them being having to buy a next vehicle. Having to undergo the usual schmoozy, walk-with-me-talk-with-me routine of most cookie-cutter salesmen and car sales companies is not my idea of a pleasant experience. That certainly was NOT the case with the family-run team at Skyway Motors in Tampa. From the moment I contacted Tim, he was helpful, honest, and did all he could to advise us on how to best find and purchase a vehicle.We live hours away from Tampa, so decided to visit a couple of Toyota RAV4s up in that area. Our first stop at another car lot, surprise, surprise, the RAV4 they had advertised had been sold a week prior, theyd failed to remove it from their website, but hey, they had another (more expensive) one theyd be happy to sell us. We declined, and made our way quickly to Skyway, where Tim had already communicated with me that morning that their RAV4 was ready and waiting for us to test-drive.Once we arrived, it was like dealing with old friends. Its a family-run business, with none of the pressure and hype one normally experiences. Once we came to an agreement on the price (which was reasonable to begin with), met the family and signed the papers, we came out to find a huge red bow on our new vehicle and request for a photo from the owner. Always wanted that kind of presentation with a vehicle purchase, so can check that one off the bucket list.To top it off, two days after the sale, they were even willing to work with us to change the paperwork to transfer our old vehicle tag to this new one, as we had mistakenly opted for an additional tag. This change in paperwork was only extra work on their part, with no additional monies for them, but they were happy to do it, to save us money and keep us satisfied customers.I cannot say enough about Skyway Motors in Tampa. They made what is usually a dreaded experience a great memory, and I will be singing their praises to everyone and anyone who needs to buy a vehicle. So nice to find honest, straightforward people who treat you with respect and courtesy. Thank you so much Tim, Cindy, and Will (and Juan, for keeping us chuckling with your antics while the paperwork was being drawn up). All the best to all of you!
