Legacy Marine really blew it out of the park when we decided this was the time for our family to get a new boat. Ben Devries dealt with our daily texts/phone calls and gave us honest answers every time. Jessica Devries has been amazing with all of our questions pre and post delivery and fit us in immediately when we had one minor issue after delivery. We knew things weren’t going to go smoothly due to the bad timing of buying/building a boat right now but honestly it couldn’t have gone better. We could not be happier with our new tidewater!

Recently purchased a 2018 TIdewater CC from Legacy Marine .. Had the most amazing sales man ever Jeff... Was incredibly pleasant to work with in regards to his laid back disposition as well as his knowledge of both the Tidewater product and boating industry. Has been readily available to me even after the sale as I had a few questions after the fact.. Boat was super clean when picked up.. Jeff--you definitely made what is usually a stressful experience almost fun.. Would buy another boat from Legacy Marine as well as recommend you to anyone who is in the market to purchase a new vessel..

We drove 4.5 hrs on a Saturday morning to look at a brand new 27ft tide water, we gave the salesman Blair a heads up the night before we were coming with the intention to buy the boat on the spot, we showd up and the boat was completely filthy full of leaves, multiple scratches on the boat, the vent on the windshield was broken, this is a brand new boat? He did not communicate well and then ultimately did not do anything to make the deal right. If there was an options for no stars he would have got that.

We went to the Ft. Pierce boat show where I fell in love with the boat we purchased a few weeks later and we received service from John Logue that was outstanding! We bought our 2017 SEA PRO 219 deep v cc from Legacy Marine. We couldnt be happier with the boat, and the boat dealership we chose to use! Ben and his whole team are amazing. They are honest people who went above and beyond any expectation my husband and I had. They were very helpful with any questions we had, and very knowledgeable about the boat, which was a big plus. We were not rushed through our sea trial, and were not rushed off the lot once we had purchased the boat. They were very helpful with any of our concerns. The boat electronics and options were EXACTLY as ordered.We noticed there were minor scuffs in the paint of the boat, and no questions asked, they buffed them out and it looked brand new. My husband and I took the boat out before heading back home, and noticed that the jack on the trailer was wrong and it couldnt be hauled that way, they called one of their mechanics in on their Saturday off, and they had no problem getting us one that worked, and put it on the trailer for us.We were treated like family by everyone at Legacy. I wouldnt recommend going anywhere but Legacy Marine. There arent many boat dealerships that have SEA PRO boats, but we drove right by 2 dealers that were within 4 hours of us. We drove 14 hours to buy from Legacy Marine, and would do it again! Amazing people who care about their customers!I cant sing enough praises for Legacy Marine, and I cant thank them enough for such an unbelievable experience, and especially for everything they did for us!

I’ve never had worst service or dealt with a more disreputable dealer. The whole sales and transaction process of purchasing a boat was littered with dishonesty and poor communication. I was originally interested In a 25’ Sea Pro listed for a fair price (because the trailer wasn’t included on the listed price which I didn’t find out till later). From the start there were all promises, but lack of communication when I needed it. I lived 6 hours away but wanted this particular boat because of the way it was setup. After being told they had a 3 month deferred payment promotion, I found out (after I had to ask before the loan was pushed through) that it would only be 1 month because “it wasn’t offered on my specific boat”. After being told they were finishing sea trialing it on Saturday and “it was ready to go after” I drove down Saturday night (through the night to get the boat early Sunday) the sales person suddenly was baffled that I texted him expecting to get my “ready” boat on Sunday. After being told he never suggested my boat was “ready” and that it wouldn’t be done now until Monday morning. After much discussion I reluctantly agreed to get it Monday afternoon. The sales person texted me around 7:30pm and said it would be around 9:00 and I could meet him. I was just ready to get the boat after being jerked around. I drove to get the boat from him and when he arrived informed me that one of my power poles wasn’t operable but it “wasn’t a big deal” as they would cover the cost of install on a new part to get it fixed by a service technician near me. After a few weeks I haven’t been able to get in touch with the sales person to figure out how to get the the power pole issue resolved, and now received payment notification that I was almost late on a payment, 3 weeks after I got the boat. The loan payment wasn’t deferred at all and the loan person told me “not my problem”. I will never do business with this dealer and will tell everyone who will listen, not to do business with such a shady organization.

Worked with Dave Pringle through out the whole process of purchasing our new 2020 Tidewater 280 which we absolutely love! He was amazing through everything and still is extremely helpful after. Ben, Lauren, and the rest of the crew couldn’t have been better!

I purchased my tidewater from the previous tidewater dealer (not legacy) and did not get very good service from them. I contacted Ben via email one Friday night about 9 or 10 o’clock about getting some service and warranty work done. I was shocked when he emailed me back within 10 minutes wanting to help me and make a appointment to get me taken care of. He is a true pro and is on top of his business! I have had the pleasure of working with several of his team members including russ Caleb Andy and chewy. These guys are all awesome and have a genuine interest in customer service and taking care of the customer. I will be purchasing my next boat from legacy and service as well. I would recommend these guys to anyone that wants great honest service. Tidewater boats are great and there customer service has been great as well. We had some unforeseen issues with the boat and after speaking with Ben, he diligently worked with us to have the issue resolved and get us back out on the water. One word sums up our relationship with the staff at Legacy Marine - FANTASTIC. I came in and walked their lot several times. Each time a staff person came over and offered assistance, which I did not want at the time. They obliged. One day I did have some questions and met Blair. Answered my questions, gave me some insight and options. We eventually settled on a 2017 SeaPro 172. We were introduced to Ben, Lauren and “Chewy “. Lauren took over and within a few days we had financing, registration (boat & trailer), all paperwork, manuals etc etc. Our boat was detailed, courtesy of “Chewys” service department staff. Being a seasoned couple, Brian offered to take us out on the water, which we readily accepted. He showed and demonstrated everything the boat has to offer. “Chewy” has been extremely accessible to answer all my questions and took care of the 20 hour maintenance on they day and within the timeframe scheduled.One more note: On our initial voyage on the water, my wife and I had an important question, called Blair, he answered and took care of our issue. I recently purchased a pre-owned Everglades 240cc from Legacy Marine. This boat was being sold on behalf of the current owner and I am very pleased with the transition and ease of delivery. In this regard, I had several items in the sales contract that needed to be addressed and all were executed as agreed. Great dealer and salespeople until you close on the deal, your on your own after that. Even with purchase of extended warranty, service and warranty work is the worse I’ve seen.

I’ve had the opportunity of purchasing several boats and various marine supplies throughout time. I have never received such personalize and great service as the one rendered by Legacy Marine. Most especially by Mr. John Logue, honest and conscientious. Always going above and beyond his duty. Offering advice and helping throughout the whole experience. From the moment I place my order. Delivering on time as promised. Sea trials and making sure everything was 100% to my satisfaction. I reside in Miami Dade County. After looking and pricing boats all the way from Key Largo to Fort Myers Beach, I traveled to Stuart Florida to purchase my boat. Not only did they beat everybody’s price but they gave me exactly what I wanted. Made an offer on a boat today to Blair. I was told that my offer was a joke then some arbitrary information was given out about how I should look elsewhere for a boat, etc. He seemed like a real jerk- guys like this cause dealerships to lose credibility quickly.

July 22,2020 I’m Back and once again I have to talk about the GREAT SERVICE at Legacy Marine in Stuart FL.My Seapro 228 in now 2 years Old and I brought her In for regular service and a warranty part. Chewy was right on it as usual. He listen to all my concerns and Brought Chris into the conversation. That in itself is something I think is great. There is nothing like being able to speak directly with the man who’s going to do the physical work on your boat. They took care of complicated issue in a timely fashion. COVID has made part delivery a nightmare for and they still came through. I keep my boat super clean and you would not have known They replaced a hydraulic helm if you saw the work. Clean clean clean just how I left her there. I love my boat BUT I have to say the service at Legacy is what I really love.My salesman Dave Pringle and the GM Ben DeVriles are both great. However what I am most pleased with is the service department. I can’t say enough about the guys there, John, Travis, Chris and Caleb. It is common to have small issues with a new boat purchase and mine was no exception. However every time I called John he would answer every question in detail. I had to bring my boat back due to one of my minn kota tallons not functioning and that was taken care of in the blink of an eye. I won’t list the other issues but they were also handled immediately by the service guys. I am a novice boater and Travis took the time to take the boat out for a run with me, teaching me how to optimize the use of the jack plate, trim, and other functions. Here is the deal, I Live in Ft. Lauderdale and Legacy is 1 ½ hours away in Stuart, FL. And I will drive it any time for that type of service. Ben keep this crew they are great!Thank you guys
