Went in for a simple rattle on my exhaust. Walked in the owner was on the phone which sounded like a personal call. Sat for 15 minutes he said two words to me walked away. Seemed disinterested in my business. Then he proceeded to tell me come back beginning of next week did not write down my name or appointment time. Happy he didnt touch my car. Will never go back wont recommend him to anyone. Bad feeling as soon as I walked through the door. Surprised he is even in business

Today I met the owner Fred and he did such a great job helping me with my boyfriends car. Told him what was wrong and he turned it around in a timely fashion and gave me a great price. Was quoted at $600 when I went to pick up my car it was $900 and the break light is still on dash board, don’t waste your time they will lie and take your money without even fixing the issue

Fred was a professional in every sense of the word. He made me feel comfortable that my classic car was in good hands when it needed a new muffler. He was able to find the parts I needed and was able to work on the car the same day I brought it in. Fred was very nice to me and cares about helping. My exhaust pipe completely broke at the flange and instead of automatically telling me I needed a whole new system like most places, he specializes in trying to repair first instead of replace. I was out within a half hour, for less money, and my car was completely quiet again.

I brought my car and it was loud, he told me that I needed to change the muffler Exhaust Pipe and the gaskit . I left my car with him for two days he changed the parts and charged me. When I checked the car, the loud and smell still the same then he told me you have to check the engine because the issue is not the muffler!For your sake before he changes the parts make sure he knows the issue.

After getting very high estimates from several places including my dealership, I just happened to see Stow Muffler & Brakes as I drove home. Fred, the owner, & Tim the tech could not have been nicer & honest. They repaired my exhaust whole I waited for $120 less than all the others. Im going back next week to have a broken sway bar replaced at a great price. Nice people, honest, fair prices & quality work. This is my new home for all of my automotive repairs! They dont try to gouge you. Finally, I have peace of mind when it comes to my SUV repairs.

Went to get a brake job and unfortunately thats what I got...a break! They stripped a lug nut and the owner Fred tried to blame me. When I asked him to lower his voice because we were disagreeing and he was escalating things, he went off the deep end and started cussing me, was very threatening in his body language and said he was going to call the police on me. I told him he should call the police...and then he didnt because he knew he messed up and I wasnt backing down. Now I have to go somewhere else for my original problem in addition to the one he created. STAY AWAY!

Took my car here a few times before and had a good experience on minor work. Usually go to Don Joseph Toyota but they ripped me off on my last major work and didnt do it right either, so I took it to Fred at Stow Muffler to have Power Steering Rack replaced and all 4 struts, He gave me a really fair price, I know cause I checked it out what costs of such a repair averages. Not only did he give a fair price, he explained everything and did the work in reasonable period of time and now car rides like a dream. Hes won my business!

Crooks - I have no idea what happened to my original review from over 5 years ago but I towed my car here after it would turn over but wouldnt start. Stow muffler said it was the starter and ordered parts. Clearly not being a starter issue, I told them not to do the job and they charged me $100 for restocking the ordered parts. They didnt listen closely to my description of the problem and it cost me money... Crooks!

Guy cause me a lot of problems with my car went in there gave him a list of things that I need to checked out and done but he did exactly what he wanted to do and not what I needed done left me with a major to misdiagnose that could have been fixed then and cost me a lot of money most expensive brake job I ever got done .

The owner of this place is a real jerk. Cussed my wife out over the phone. Talked down to her. I will never go there.
