Whenever I need anything for my guitar or bass, the first place I think to go is Springfield Music. The owner is helpful and knowledgeable and will give you the best deal. I have sent many friends there who have also had great, positive experiences. If its not in the store, Albert will find it for you in very short time. I strongly recommend this place for all your music needs.

This place is awesome! Al has been doing wheels and deals in this community for years helping many musicians in this area. He is the kindest guy you could meet. His store is extensive combining new and used. He can get just about anything you need musically. His music store is worth taking the time to go and look through. Bought a ukulele from them through Reverb. Reverb wont allow less than 5 star ratings which is a shame for their buyers.Received the worst shipment packing Ive ever seen. No uke box, just wrapped in bubble wrap in repurposed, damaged cardboard box. Instrument arrived covered in dust. AND from the wear on the tuning pegs and a few dings on the headstock, instrument was clearly USED not BRAND NEW as advertised.All that said, it is a model I love and not readily available any more, so Im keeping it, but Id never use this shop again. Im also going to think twice before using Reverb too.

Had to sell some of my gear yesterday and Al took his time with me and went over every piece I had and offered a fair price for my gear. He was a straight shooter and no BS. Really good guy and the place is amazing. Even though I didnt buy anything after we made a deal I know I will be a customer at Springfield music in the future.

I visit music stores all over the country, big chains and little shops alike, and I can honestly say that Springfield Music is one of my favorite music stores. The owner, Al, is friendly, knowledgeable, with a good sense of humor, and is a multi-instrumentalist. With competitive pricing on new stuff and great deals on previously-owned, Al will always try to make a deal that is good for both parties.

Im a working musician, and this is a great store to buy/sell new and used instruments. And if the store doesnt have it, the owner will gladly order it or find it for you. The repair shops (which Ive used numerous times) turn-around time and pricing is very reasonable and they are respectable with/to your instruments. The owner always offers you a fair price if you are selling your equipment. This place also has hard-to-find items, vintage hardware and otherwise, that you cant find at normal music stores. Truly a cool, unique store - take a visit!

Been here for years. You walk in feeling like a person not a sale. The guys are great and very knowledgeable. And when they dont know something they dont pretend, they research for you!!

Im not sure why somebody would take a shot at the owner of this store. More than a few musicians rely on Al to keep them on the road and keep them working. Sooner or later some disgruntled person who didnt feel like they were treated as the important VIP they see themselves as takes to the public review forum to slam a business. Dont let this kind of character assassination keep you from a visit.

Ive known and done business with Al (the owner) for almost 3 decades. I cant think of anyone else who has made music more available to every local walk of musician than him!Hes a talented musician as well and knows the talk and has done the walk. Ive gotten many a good deal from his stores thru the days and would always tell him the price I can get it for online so he could match or beat it! I always ended up buying it from him.His store has a nice Greenwich Village type atmosphere to them , I get the same feeling when Im next to a vintage guitar case that is open....support your local shops people! they support us!

I have been playing for more years than most people have been alive.So - Where do I go to get ANYTHING for music? Springfield Music. The owner, Al Bien, consistently goes out of his way to make things happen for his customers. I cant count the number of times I have come up with some obscure need, and Albert, like a pit bull, has scoured his countless industry contacts and distributors, and found me just what I need, quickly and for a decent price. Try getting that kind of service from your big box store, or the Internet!Over the years, I have sent many friends to this store and they are never disappointed. Albert Biens Springfield Music is the personification of the local brick-and-mortar store that keeps the focus on customer relationships and satisfaction.
