I just came by and got my guitar strings fix for a good price. Once I had enough money I decided to try to get the other strings fix however due to the way I had bought it already it couldn’t be fix. I decided that perhaps I could look at some new ones and with help found the perfect one. They have layaway and understanding for time. I finally brought home my Yahama guitar and I am so pleased with the sound and what I paid for which was $170. I am definitely coming back again to shop!

We have been renting pianos from Falcetti Pianos for the Bang on a Can Summer Music Institute at MASS MoCA for 15 years. Tony and his crew are so helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. But what is perhaps most important for a program such as ours is that the pianos they rent us are AMAZING. Our pianists are so thrilled to play on the Falcetti pianos. We are grateful for the wonderful quality of their products as well as their service. We highly, highly recommend Falcetti Pianos!!

We recently purchased a used 16-year-old Yamaha piano here. First, we want to extend our deep thanks to Tom (sales), Rich (service tech), and Rob (in-home tuning) for the outstanding service they provided. We had consider buying from one of the mom-and-pop used piano retailers in the area and had visited a couple before looking in Falcetti’s. No doubt, we could have found something for less money at one of those locations.What sold us on buying at Falcetti’s was when Tom took downstairs into their warehouse and technical service center. Wow! We were very impressed with their operation and it was there that we saw our future piano. It had just come in on an upgrade exchange and they were just starting to disassemble it for cleaning and checking its integrity something the do with all the pianos the sell, new and used. Not far away was a brand-new Steinway grand piano going through a similar process. As for our future piano, it looked great as it sat in the service area. We asked about the price and it was reasonable. A check on line found the price to be better than what we found at other stores for the same piano at multiple locations across the country. So, we bought it.When it was delivered it looked and sounded great. Nevertheless, we noticed two issues with the exterior finish – one we had noted before and they had forgotten to fix and the other was something we didn’t catch in the store. We contacted Tom and when Rob came out a few weeks later to do the free in-home tuning, Rob removed the two sections that needed to be touched up and took them back to the shop for Rich to correct at no charge. A week later, Rob returned with the fixed parts and now our piano looks like its brand new. Add that to Rob’s great tuning work to make it sound even better, Rich’s initial integrity inspection and servicing, Tom’s great customer service in the store and afterward and all we can say is wow, we couldn’t be happier. I love this place! I am 62 year old retiree and I started playing the guitar after about 25 years! My teacher Kaitlin is great! She’s very patient and is helping me get the music rust out of my head. Teaches me scales...and also songs u want to learn to play! Heartily recommend!

Love, love, love Falcetti’s music store. I recently did some jamming on Sam Falcetti’s digital accordion. I had such a good time with the master himself. I also enjoyed talking with a couple of the staff. All were professional and knowledgeable. I’m looking forward to returning and hopefully will purchase a instrument. Keep up the good work !!!!!!!

Great experience from beginning to end! Welcomed by Mike upon entry to the store. He was very friendly, professional and patient. He answered my tons of questions and I made my purchase. Both he and Connor are competent and have requisite knowledge without being pretentious. Quite refreshing compared to the other local music store in South Hadley.

My autistic son had to have a cello so he bought it in April and has now decided it’s not the instrument for him, hard to reach someone in authority for a trade or buyback, very disappointing. Still waiting so won’t be going back anytime soon. Had been prior customer for keyboard and clarinet. Update: there was a communication problem and now Thanks to Scott at Falcetti they took good care of us and I highly recommend them to do business with.

I went in needing a string for my guitar. The employees were super nice and changed all of my strings and did major work on my guitar. It looks just as good as the day I got it. The place is tidy and all the instruments are beautiful. Thanks again.

I take voice lessons here at Falcetti and it has been a tremendous help! My vocal instructor, Liz Dion has been amazing with showing me better tactics and giving me helpful advise to strengthen my singing! I broke a string on my guitar and I was able to show up at 830 and they helped me out so much, they will definitely be seeing me in the future. It turns out that the guitar that I had just bought had a few things wrong with it like some of the strings were too long so he trimmed them down and he tightened everything up. I cant say it enough, the best music shop around. You need to stop in.

Horrible business and customer service. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone ever even if my foot was on fire. Avoid the scamming competition where you have to pay a lot of money to not place when you have a difficult piece and made no mistakes. Never again. I’m not the only person that this happened to this weekeend what a horrible place.

Very recently, I purchased a Yamaha Clavinova CLP-625 at Falcetti Music in Springfield, and the entire experience was a very positive one. From my first visit with Kirk, to my return visit during the annual Yamaha inventory clearance sale, where I worked with Ray and Lamar, I was treated with courtesy, respect and a genuine concern for my goals and budget. The two gentlemen who delivered the instrument to my home were courteous (including calling ahead to let me know theyd be delayed a bit), efficient and very careful in moving the instrument through the twists and turns necessary to get it to its appointed location. I would not hesitate to encourage others to visit Falcetti Music, they are true professionals.

Falcetti Music in Boston Rd, Springfield is a great place for music lovers to try instruments, for kids to learn music. Staff are friendly and professional, music teachers are patient and talented.

I bought a digital piano at the Big E from Tony, an owner. The new piano sounds great and I love being able to practice with headphones . Tony provided me with excellent customer service. He was was very attentive, patient and addressed all my questions. He made arrangements for my old piano to be removed which was done within a couple of days. The movers were professional, courteous and very experienced. I anticipated that the movers would have a difficult job of moving the old piano from the 2nd floor of a split-leve but, no problem! They set up my new piano at the same time. Thank you,

I would rate this 0 stars if that was an option. This is probably the worst music company Ive come across ever. As a former employee Ill let you in on a secret that they barley pay their music teachers anything. When I was hired I knew that I wasnt going to last, $10/hour for 5 hours a week, minus taxes and my travel expenses I think I made $25/week. Theyre overpriced, unfair and hire just about anyone off the street that can hold an instrument. With the theory being you dont need to play well to teach well. I think this comes from the owner barley being able to play a note himself.Though I hear things have gotten better since the daughter took over (who by the way seemed to be the only one there to have ANY clue of whats going on).This is a terrible business and the only music store I will straight out tell people NEVER to use. (though Gerrys in south hadley is only marginally better). If you want lessons, go to CMSS. If its music or accessories youre after then Id go online. Not only will your wallet thank you wont have to deal with these crooks.

Tubes here were 50 dollars instead of the standard 35 in most other music shops and online. pretty hefty markup if you ask me...

Went to get a guitar setup, over the phone made me believe it was in-house, but when I got there it wasn’t. I got the guitar back a week later, the action was high and the strings looked like they were done by a child, inconsistent winds and loops of string. Owner sat there and never greeted me when I came in, just the manager was atleast a little helpful. When I went back to get a refund the clerk at the counter made it seem like my problems were non existence, and devalued the personal significance of my problems. The guitar tech gave my guitsr back with several parts dirtied, and he also lost 2 screws to my pick guard which he then replaced with TWO DIFFERENT screws. All the screws had different lengths and some of them dig into the wood, so if I even had the original screws they wouldn’t fit in anymore. The clerk didn’t know how to do a refund so I sat for around 10-15 minutes waiting while he called the manager every 5 minutes, while the owner was right there talking to someone casually and could have stepped in for a minute to help. On top of this, they never told me they lost the screws. Never on the repair ticket or anywhere, I found it out when I got home and took off the pick guard and looked at the screws. Never come, I recommend guitar center, it may be a chain but the guys there at the West Springfield store are local and actual musicians they don’t reslly try to up sell you as long as you know what you want, also two in house guitsr techs are very nice and said they’ve repaired bad setups from this place, or wherever this place sends your guitar off to, before. -1/10 stars.

According to the website they have a wide selection of guitars. I was specifically interested in a PRS. I found them on the PRS website as an authorized dealer. I get there to see that they just downsized and had and VERY limited selection of guitars, and only 2 PRS guitars. Included none from the PRS S2 line that they said was on their website. Also, all (2) staff was busy when I was there so couldnt even speak to anyone. If youre a guitar player, dont waste your time with this place. Its a joke. Dont trust their website either. I understand guitar retailers arent big right now but the website made it seem like that were actually in the game still. They are not.

I purchased a digital piano from Falcetti several years ago. It was a great deal and had a very good sound. It started to have some problems (it was used so not Falcettis fault)The staff did everything they could to help try and repair it. I was amazed when the company went way above and beyond to fix the situation.These folks are real, hometown friends.I would recommend them to anyone.David Horgan
