Overall, I am very impressed with The Acoustic Shoppe. I cannot express enough, the quality of customer service that I got and continue to get every time I go in there. Absolute professionalism! They made sure I was well educated on the items I was interested in before a purchase was even made. They were not just trying to sell me the most expensive thing they had, but rather what was best for me (the customer). They have a luthier on sight and give out lessons. I would highly recommend this music store to anyone that desires great customer service, quality instruments, and any of your every day basic needs for music. I bought the Eastman E20D today and every time I try to put it in its case it hops right back into my lap!!! I can’t put it down!!! I was a little apprehensive buying an expensive guitar on-line and was afraid that whatever had come into the shop was coming to me without ever really being out of its box since leaving China. I was wrong. I received photos of my guitar being set up and received the guitar carefully packed. The guitar is all I had hoped for: great tone and feel. In with the guitar was a note thanking me for my business. Customer service matters - and you wont find better customer service from a music shop than what youll find at the Acoustic Shoppe! John and the rest of the staff are friendly, helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and extremely capable when it comes to their instruments and repairs. Great shop! Good selection of instruments and gear — ranging from mid-level to high-end (other than some ukuleles, they don’t carry cheap “beginner level” instruments; instead, they focus on quality products while still offering affordable choices). Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth visiting (I drove two-and-a-half hours and consider it time well spent).

The folks at the Acoustic Shoppe are industry professionals. They have a fantastic luthier on hand (Liz) that does quality repairs on almost any instrument. Ive used their instructors to help improve my playing, their luthier, Liz, has fixed my instruments, and Ive purchased gear from them. The Chapmans are bluegrass royalty, and this is absolutely a local favorite for music shops in the Springfield/Branson area. If you just want to browse and talk music, this is a great place to stop by even if you are just window shopping or making out your musical wish list. On top of all that, they are nice folks serving their community!

From the moment I walked in this place already felt like I was not only welcome but I felt like I was family! It looks and feels like an acoustic guitar tavern full of eye candy 🍬 😋! Hannah immediately made me her friend by taking the time to ask what I was looking for as far as preferences and found two Eastman acoustic guitars that were slightly different from one another and let me play them back to back until I was happy with either one. Theres actual guitar players seats with soft leather all around the place. I actually wanted both models but as I got up to look at a few more guitars I spotted one made by Eastman that resembled a higher level Taylor model and John let me sit down with it. A few strums later I was purchasing it! It already had a bone nut; it came with an Eastman deluxe hardshell case and I left it to get the action lowered with lighter strings put on. I could go on but lets just say I got the works for less than $1,700.00 A Taylor or Martin with the quality I got would have cost me at least four grand or more. Theres no music store in Springfield Missouri that has such a beautiful selection of acoustic guitars that you can actually pick up and play before you buy. Check this place out before doing any online shopping. You wont regret it!

I was in the store today shopping for a mandoline. I just want to say the gentleman there was very knowledgeable of the instrument. He went in detail how and what to look for in a good mandolin. I did buy one from him. It was an Eastman model. He put strap and electric pick up on it as well within a few hours of my purchase. A very professional shop doing professional work. Worth checking out. After running around town trying to find someone to tune my harp I was directed to these guys. I was told it might take a few days and recieved a text it was ready in a few hours. $25 was such a small price to pay to have my harp fixed. This is where all your string needs will be met, plus the shop is just neat. Great atomphire and friendly people.

I bought a ukulele and case from them, but unfortunately the uke arrived damaged. I was a bit worried about returning it. It was a discontinued model and I didnt want the other model they had available. They said, we want you to have the instrument you want. Their actions backed that up. They were very professional and accommodating. I was e-mailed a credit memo and within a couple more days, (as is usually the way credit card returns go), I had the credit back on my card. Purchased an Eastman guitar as a gift on Reverb. The unit was precisely as shown in their hi quality photos. Their description was spot on and the guitar was as advertised. The unit was shipped in the original shipping box and heavily padded. It arrived in decent time and the transaction was smooth as silk. After letting the guitar settle for a day i opened it up and played it a bit. This guitar is sweet. Eastman AC122CE. Sitka spruce top with Sapele back and neck. The price was reasonable and the build quality is dead on. I highly recommend Acoustic Shoppe if youre in the market for an acoustic because, well, lets face it, its in their name. I had a buddy of mine check it out and he said the truss rod was adjusted perfectly and other than a minor fretting way down the neck it was perfect. They communicated with me through out the sale, they provided shipping updates and seemed very cordial. They even included a little card addressed to me, with a hand written note from Brian stating that the shop really appreciated my business and they would stand by their product all I need do is contact them. They also included a Gift card for their shop to make sure I come back. Well, I certainly will. I might even buy one of those Eastmans for myself.
