Very nice clean place. They let us use the bathroom we were from out of town and my grandsons football playoff. We went back the next game and the next game I love the Safeway down there.

I like Safeway in general. They have the best rewards of any place I have a phone number registered to. I’m not from around here and I meet someone who has a very beautiful soul. Now you have to understand that I don’t say things like “beautiful soul”. After we parted ways I was really thankful to have meet her. I will leave her name out to protect her. Could have spent hours talking with her.Oh! Yes yes the place was great

I had to run in and pick something up quickly. I was able to find what I needed without any trouble. The only thing that slowed me down was that there was only 1 checkout aisle open. The man working was very kind and extremely attentive to each person. If I hadnt been in a hurry, it would have been fine. He did call another checker finally and I was able to get out fairly quickly after that. If I felt more comfortable with things Ive never used, I would have gone to self-checkout, but I didnt have time to learn something new!🙂

I must say each and every visit I have at this West 18th Street Safeway its always a positive experience in large part because the customer service is exceptional. Its a clean facility that is covid-19 compliant. It has somewhat limited front end parking but because of the location and property size it fills up but not entirely so there is parking for certain. I like coming to this Safeway because rarely are they out of popular items. Its definitely got its own centralized location apart from any other grocery store in town which is kind of nice. Easy 5⭐s

I LOVE Safeway for their prices and quality, HOWEVER, this particular is one that I only shop when Im in the area visiting my son. Ive never experienced poor customer relations at any other Safeway stores. But this particular one is the worst. EVERY TIME, Ive had to go there its been a terrible shopping experience. Today , case in point as I was proceeding through checkout the cashier Ed J. was so unnecessarily rude that when I assisted to my car by the bagging person, he even apologized to me for the checkers behavior. When my son asked me what the man had whispered to me and I explained the encounter, my son went back into the store to file a formal complaint. He went directly to the customer service counter because as he was walking into the store to confront him he witnessed Ed J. Verbally abusing the elderly shopper whom had been in line behind me. The issue he had with myself was as he was bagging my groceries I requested he not stand my family size pkg of raw chicken breast on end inside the bag. I did not want the raw chicken blood to leak through the bag. He began slamming the pkg of chicken on the counter and stayed that had the chicken been placed inside a bag prior to check out that would not have been an issue. I apologized and said Im sorry if I aggravated you, but Im riding with my son and he has a new vehicleAnd Im concerned it may leak onto his leather seats he replied with its just this place. It gets to me sometimes AND I wouldnt want to make your son mad at you . He said it in a most insulting manner. Being a disabled elderly person, I try to be independent AND courteous to all people. Im not sure why this person even chooses to work with the public if it Gets to him. Shame on himAn update: I was contacted by management and was given a very satisfying resolution to the issues. THANK YOU Safeway for restoring my faith in your stores.

My rating was only 3 stars due to experiences with DriveUp & Go.As of today, 9/15/21, no one has contacted me. I left messages twice for the head of this department to call me, this tells me that our local management does not care, nor does corporate. Such a shame. Safeways process for curbside pickup appears to be a fairly good application, but execution of the process has some difficulties.Training seems to be lacking, especially in customer service, but also corporate restraints for coverage and policy. The app used to place these orders also needs to be reviewed and fixed.I plan to rate the store again, in the near future I hope, based on the service and satisfaction received by todays call to the store and speaking with PIC.I think it is time for a change. Its a Safeway. They sell most things that youd expect from a grocery store, as well as a good selection of local craft beers and larger breweries.

Safeway always has a wonderful selection of fresh baked goods! And great deals to follow!

This Safeway in Eugene Oregon was clean and all of the employees were very friendly and very helpful, especially Sheyan. She helped me out with my bag ofice because I have a broken foot. Thank you Sheyan!

You can get organic at reasonable prices in the bakery and deli as well. A wonderful selection of cheeses and charcuterie, along with some tempting pasta salads and hot fried foods.The employees were kind as well.

Its what it is. Not special but still clean and friendly. 3 stars until you realize we dont always want to do self checkout. Since theres often 1 option for a cashier very often those customers have carts full of groceries making that 3 person line uninviting. Help us out

Shoutout to the crew working Tuesday night, June 15th! Grace A. was the PIC that night and while Doordash was dealing with a nationwide outage (no joke, the entire nation) Grace and the team assisted me with excellent customer service, going above and beyond to make sure both the Dasher and the customer receiving the order were satisfied. Part of the customers order was two pints of Ben & Jerrys and upon noticing that, she asked another team member to temporarily place the bag of groceries in a freezer so everything stayed fresh. Everyone working that night was awesome and I hope their manager Andrew sees this! Thank you again!!

Its the store (of the 3 I shop at) where I could find mung bean sprouts for my Chinese dish. That made me happy. 😊

Frequently leave sale price tags on items that were long expired, forcing you to pay higher higher amount when you get to the register, knowing that you bought that item specifically because it was clearly displayed on sale. The cashier was clearly apathetic to all the mistakes. There are better Safeways to shop at than here.

I have posted unfavorable reviews on this store several other times and this one will be no different. Its not bad enough that their prices are so high, but their customer service is terrible. All the employees I encountered yesterday (at least 4) all acted like they hate their jobs and their customers. I go there once in a while just for their bakery, but it is just never a good experience. I will stick with FM... prices are better AND their employees are pleasant and helpful.

Ordered a Sandwich from the deli, worker trys to put greyish green meat on my sandwich! Even though she started to put it in the trash.. Then the chews was dried out she tells me!! Do I want something else? No I want cheese that is not dried out that comes on the Italian Sandwich your making for me that I ordered. So please restock with fresh.. Add to this she keeps wiping her to bed hands on the front of her soiled apron..I really at this point started looking at their ingredients..The avocado spread was dried out and Browning, the cucumbers were so old the flesh was transparent.The photos will be sent to the health dept.

Great place to shop they have a drive up with online ordering for people who dont want to go inside the store but they do have inside shopping and the self checkout lane is great for people buying snacks for a ducks football game ☺️ but seriously my friend worked here says it was fun to work there so thats great! I like shopping there and have been for years. They have a good selection of meats, veggies and other items. I have only come across one employee that acts indifferent to us shoppers and hes that way with everyone.

This is one of my favorite grocery stores. They always have the freshest produce and the nice is clerks. There are some sketchy fools in the parking lot and I would never leave valuables in plain sight in my car but now that I dont have to get out of my car and they bring my groceries to me Im way more comfortable with shopping here. Plus it is one of the only grocery stores in this neighborhood oh, you have to drive like 20 blocks down the road to go to Fred Meyer and they are way more expensive.

Not a great experiençe the last 2 times for sure. Im thinking that its maybe abt that time to hire security. It was mind blowing what has been going on outside. Close to the entrance even. On the way into the store but also both times there were incidences that also took place inside on my way out. as well If I was a little freaked out imagine what little kids or families are going through just to go to the store anymore.

Even with your COVID-19 shots, they are making you wear a mask. Fred Meyer, Walmart, and Costco are mask free with your COVID-19 shots. Just saying, get with it Safeway.

. I have been going there for years. What would be nice if they had their orange chicken done earlier. On two different visits around 11:00 I go there for orange chicken. Lady says it wont be ready for about one hour. Some people have earlier lunch times. Lots of other food is ready. I went today april 5th at noon . No orange chicken. Lady asked cook in back he told her no orange chicken today? What.. crazy. I will go somewhere else

Well run store with friendly, professional staff. I shop here frequently. I’m a fan of their deli and butcher. TRY THEIR FRIED CHICKEN!!! In house Starbucks makes good drinks too.

Theres an Albertsons, Safeway, and Fred Meyer within a dang mile. This Safeway is alright, passes people off enough to drive an suv through their front door and get a remodel, but I mean other than that, real decent store. Sorry my little girl demands stickers in the checkout every time. Lol

Walked in today to get produce and saw a big rat run across the floor and under a fruit display. Told one of the employees and I walked out. So grossed out and I’ll never go back again.

I love my Safeway, but they stopped selling my favorite pimento cheese spread. Im a little upset by that.

Great Safeway! The deli has lots of fresh chinese food that its basically a chinese restaurant! Then there is a huge bakery section and a flower boutique.

I prefer to go to Safeway because it’s convenient and they have good customer service when you shop inside. There pick up and go is convenient as well after a long day at work but it would be nice if when you order online and they put your groceries in the trunk of your car they let you know if there are items that they are out of stock that you ordered.

Was out of what I wanted. Ordered a case of it. At the sale price. Guy at Customer Service was nice & was on it, so Ill get what I want for the sale price. Cool

A pharmacy employee invaded my privacy by using the email listed on my negative review to find my personal contact information.I called back to ask how he had my phone number when I didnt leave it on the review and didnt ask to be contacted. I then complained to his supervisor but I was told that, just like any business they have the right to address comments that the community can read. I pointed out that it could have been considered appropriate for my initial review to be addressed by a supervisor using my email address but that it wasnt appropriate for the employee that I had issues with to call me, especially when I didnt leave my contact information.Im not a customer.I dont have a member card.I was only ever at the pharmacy for my vaccine appointment and the information they have is from my registration form.Privacy is federally mandated by the HIPAA laws.In addition to my phone & address, the employee has access to my personal health and insurance information, my birthdate & my drivers license number. The form even asked for the last 4 digits of my social security number, which I didnt provide.I complained right away about my initial negative interaction with the employee to the pharmacist who was friendly but laughed uncomfortably & changed the subject. My phone records show that I called 45 minutes later to address the issue directly with the employee. He was rude again. After 15 minutes on the customer complaint line I was told that someone would call me but that I couldnt have the pharmacy managers information. No call back.Safeway is more interested in my negative review than in my actual experience.

I have came here since I was a toddler. They have an amazing produce section and the best donuts.....Safeway always has what you need and it’s quality at a decent price. They also sell local concert tickets. Thanks Safeway!

Had a prescription to pick up. Phoned it in said it would be ready after 5. Went in at 6:45. Waited at the counter for a couple of minutes, the clerk wasnt moving too fast. Very abrupt about my meds NOT being ready and the machine never gives the correct time.The saving grace was the very nice young woman with a Russian Accent.She was great. Not sure if I will keep this store for meds. I would rather pay more at walgreens and have nicer people

I enjoy the atmosphere in Safeway. If your a thrifty shopper then you shouldnt have any problems navigating this store. If youre an impulse buyer beware. There are good bargins but be forewarned youll leave broke. I comend Safeway for their marketing skills. Did I mention great customer service, clean, inexpensive gas with your Safeway card. Probably one of the better stores around.

Out of all of the Safeway locations this is by far the most impersonal, disconcerting, and uncomfortable Safeway that I have ever been into in my entire life. Every time I go in there for some reason no matter where I check out or who checks me out I feel the same way when I exit and that is that I was in their way annoying them and I was a burden to shop there. I understand it can be a long shift or you not having the best day or anything but I am literally going to places that are extremely more expensive just to avoid the vibes from the Safeway staff. Its jusf extremely unfortunate. Good luck Safeway on Pioneer parkway.

This is my favorite grocery store. The deli is super & the food is always fresh. Great Starbucks to hang out & the staff is nice too.

Sometimes they have good deals on food buy 2 get 3 free buy 1 get 1 free it depends on what your getting.

Safeway its self was good, but the bathroom was dirty and smelly.

The number one reason I would go to this store in the past was for a deli breakfast sandwich in the morning. EVERY F’ing time I did, the deli staff was so F’ing RUDE. It really upset me and I decided never to go again.

Everytime i stop in here thinking its gonna be quick, I end up have to go to Customer to get a safeway card so i dont have to pay the ridiculous pre-markdown markups (or maybe the everday prices are just awful). For the prices of this place, I would expect something on par with trader joes or whole foods, but what you get is just an overpriced Kroger.
