Crowded aisles and would probably be better simplifying their inventory a bit. Lines were long and a lot of waiting for the people doing self checkout with ton of items. Should do some smaller quantity lines for those of us getting less than 7 items. No regular kale... guess super popular in the eating at home phase.

Great seafood selection/department.Good produce quality and selection.All staff members are helpful and accommodating.Well maintained clean environment .My go to place for seasonal plants/ flower selections, never disappoints.

Very long checkout lines. Especially self checkout line. I was looking for hash brown potatoes. I found what I was looking for. Murrys hash brown potatoes are excellent.

The store is a little older However its fully stocked ,and hands down has the best customer service of any ShopRite Ive ever shopped in. The staff is always hard at work,personable and helpful. I enjoyed my shopping experience

The store itself TODAY was great - little traffic inside and most lines were open and available - except for my cashier. Not very friendly and did not seem inclined to help with bagging. No smile or greeting and not even a thank you when I tipped her a few bucks to see if that would change the motivation - nope.I will leave it at that as Im sure most of you can guess the scenario picture.

The prices here are continuously going up and the quality of fruit, vegetables and meat is not always good. 7.99 for a small container of organic strawberries containing mildew is ridiculous. The gallons of water are now up to 1.49. They used to be .99 cents. It’s water!!! Blaming everything on Covid does not justify your prices. It’s an excuse. Just because the prices are a little less than Kings doesn’t mean the prices are good. Not everyone in this area is wealthy. Many of us are struggling to pay bills and buy food. While the owner of the store is sitting comfortably making money, the rest of us aren’t.

My most favorite shoprite, and its not as expensive as the others.

I went to buy some cake. Even though I read the labels I asked just in cake they had a 2 combination cake flavor somewhere. You never know.and one the workers says very rudely. Read the label. Everything is label. In another words dont ask.I was like wow. Can not even ask a question there. I replied in the same tone I read the labels. Then I asked the other lady to write in the cake. Not even a grateful gesture from them. Just plainlook. like dont bother.But I was educated so I said thank you. And left.

Shop From Home - Awesome job! Never mistakes or issues. Whoever runs this team meticulously double and triple checks everything and its rare when an item is out of stock. This is the best location as I have used Chatham, Union, and Livingston many times in the past and always had price issues or items that were supposedly out of stock. Im very happy with this service. 5 out of 5 stars. A+

Does the mask policy not apply to the manager of this store? I don’t care that you don’t care about your own health but please be considerate of the people who choose to shop here. She’s inches away from her employees with her mask down, I will not be shopping here anymore.

I have no problems with the supermarket but the women who are in the pastry section are disgusting, I asked for their help and they didnt give it to me and when I asked them again they told me to read the label 😡

Snow was expected and lines were long but kept moving. Sunday morning had stock of all specials. I found everything I needed. Dell order was done when expected. Was on line for checkout between 5-10 minutes. Staff were working very hard.

This is such a sweet home town kind of feel grocery store ! After shopping here for more than 5/6 years, the manager, Mohamed is like an old friend. He’s always so kind I helpful. His staff is also very friendly, shelves are stocked often & well. The bathrooms & place in general are certainly clean. Even the gentleman gather shopping carts outside goes out of his way to get your cart if it’s really cold or rainy, so you don’t have to rush it back to the “corral”! And even on days when they have inventory lining every row - and the store’s about to close, Mohamed & his staff kindly help you get what you need as quickly as possible & they don’t make you feel badly as they know you’re rushing just as fast as you can (we know they had a long day & want to get home too!) Also- their sales are GREAT!

This is my all time favorite store, my favorite Shoprite. I sometimes go to the Union SR, but its just so big and overwhelming. This store is the right size for just a few things, and the right size for doing all your shopping. And the workers there have been there for many years, they know us, we know them. Its newish Deli and bakery are just wonderful. Love the bagels that they import from an Italian bakery close to NYC on the Jersey side. The breads and cakes etc. and the Rotisserie chickens, everything in that store is just wonderful. Could have more things on sale, but prices are much better than Kings (ugh!) and in general, the best store ever!

Veeery packed, I could barely move my cart on many isles. Prices are higher than other grocery stores for the same exact items.

Clean, fully stocked and baggers even offer to assist with heavy items to your vehicle such as case of water.

Hands down the worst run does market. Tiny and cramped. No way to avoid insane lines even if you’re just grabbing a few things. Avoid like the plague you might get in this cramped place.

I visit this ShopRite on my way to see my doctor. The staff is very friendly, the selections are great, and the checkout is very speedy. I will say I dont spend a lot of time in this store. But the time I do spend inside, Im very happy.

Lol so rude :( How am I going to get redirected to the pharmacy twice and then be rudely told that they don’t have a pharmacy anymore? Attitude is everything. I am always sweet on the phone because I know what working in customer service is like- but to be so abrupt ? Unnecessary. I could have easily been told the first time that there’s no longer a pharmacy. Shrug.

They didnt have eyeglass cleaners. At the deli they didnt have honey turkey. Other than that the service was solid.

Hadnt been here for some time. Pleasantly surprised at completely revamped store. Store is smaller than ShopRite of Union but the quality of the produce, seafood Dept was better. Definitely recommend this store now. It was my home store until ShopRite of Union opened. The staff was always friendly and helpful at the Springfield store. I only switched to Union because it was much better layout and selection than Springfield. Now that Springfield is upgraded it would be my choice again.

The pickup spot is very confused. Need to be more easy to understand how to proceed. I hated there.

Well, its open and therefore convenient. Its a smaller S.R. Ive always found what Ive went hunting for so they hold me down there. My one complaint is the freshness of the produce. No pictures to verify cause that wasnt my purpose, just my experience. If your In this area, then you probably already visit here, if not its a grocery store. If you need to go go. :)

ShopRite Springfield is a very pleasant place to shop. The staff and customers are always polite and kind. The organic store brand Wholesome Pantry and the special Italian brand get better all the time. It is a place to buy real, down-to-earth food.

Not a fan of the parking situation as we are all crammed in there like sardines. 😂 Otherwise its nice. The fruit produce though goes bad in a day of getting it home. Other friends have complained to me about this also. Staff is nice and friendly and helpful. And the store is clean.

Love to shop here. They do have the deals almost every week and they are better priced. Being not a wholesale place makes me shop just what I want. My only concern is if they could push all those deals or coupons they print at check out to your store card we can save not only on paper but also on time during the check out and for sure I wont miss the great savings they have on offer. All in all a nice place to shop.

Many of the checkout clerks are rude and nasty. Customer service is traditionally rude nasty and unhelpful and will throw rude comments and take forever to help you with anything..always doing anything begrudgingly. The manager always takes the side of the nasty rude employee...he is very weird. I do not shop there anymore. I shop at 3 other shop rite stores and get pleasant and courteous service. I also now shop at the Kings close to the Shop Rite Springfield. ..also very pleasant and courteous service and good food.

It is small but I usually find all normal grocery items. They dont stock lot of specialized items for baking and the gluten free and dairy free sections are very small..They have good quality but not too many varieties for organic produce.They have added new soup and salad bar section only last week. So yet to determined how these are...

Its not as large as the one in Union. Each store has the flavor of the neighborhood its in. This one has more organic items. Still a good place to get in and out of for a quick shopping visit.

Small local ShopRite. Good for when you need something quick. But not a large selection of items and the overall feeling is that it is dingy. That may just be the lighting. Employees are helpful.

This is a great grocery store. We are from out of state and are staying with family. Shop Rite had everything we needed to buy for our food supplies for our time here in Summit. Thanks for being great Summit Shop Rite!

Big, clean, with all the food options you need!

Good supermarket. Has everything I shop for and prices are good compared to other markets. They could have a better produce dept with wider selection and fresher produce, but overall not bad.

Its a smaller, older Shoprite, but produce, seafood, etc. are good, good selection. Mostly have everything thats on sale and varieties I prefer. Excellent fresh bread. Service and parking are good too. Still the location I prefer, even with a huge, new store about the same distance. Downside is that deli staff dont seem to know how to slice.

Always enjoy shopping at the Springfield Shop Rite. Get my lunch sandwiches made there 3-4 times per week. Steve and Maryann are great. Quality is excellent...prices are very good, too.

Alrighty then! This Shop-Rite has really stepped up their game as far as vegan products are concerned. I found a pot of gold at this location. They always seemed to be stocked up on these items unlike other Shop-Rites in the area. Also, I find Shop-Rite to have extremely reasonable and competitive prices. If you are on a budget and want to eat healthy, this is the place to go.

The two managers who are from India are excellent with the customers and the workers... Even though its super crowded I never wait a long time in line!... Excellent service at a small but large supermarket!

ZERO STARS,Tonight manager Ahmad turned me away from the door after allowing a couple in that I was two seconds behind. Customer service ethic will have allowed me in as well. Ahmad was unapologetic and was fully aware I saw him allow the other couple in.

LOVE this store for like 20 years now. It could use some updating, but it is big enough to have a variety and small enough to not be overwhelming. The staff are always nice, some of them have worked there for many years. CS is nice and helpful. Deli is always clean. Like it much better than Union store which is big impersonal and overwhelming. I would surely miss this store if it werent around.

I recently ordered a cake from the bakery for my sons birthday party . It was awesome. All our guests liked it. Kudos to the team who made it.

Perfect location with multiple access points, great variety of fresh foods, plenty of organic and ethnic options, friendly staff, Mohammed the manager is so friendly and helpful even if he is running around and multitasking constantly. Prices are very competitive and the store is clean, lots of parking, couldnt ask for more in a grocery store.

I would recommend.

The absolute worst produce department. This is the only affordable market in the area, so you are forced to shop here unless you want to drive 15+ minutes. So far we have had to throw out broccoli due to worms in the stems, cucumbers due to slimy exterior and lettuce due to rot all within 2 days of purchasing. On another occasion there were no potatoes or onions in the entire store. It pains me to have to shop here, the layout of the store also makes no sense.

Good selection of products at decent prices. Boars Head meats and cheese in the deli. Decent weekly sales. Somewhat awkward store layout in my opinion, but nothing that would stop me from going there. Fast service at checkout and friendly people. I wish they had turkey in their meat department, though. I looked several times, and couldnt find any turkey breast or cutlets or anything like that.

Its a very cheap place, but their bathrooms are very dirty, theres toilet paper everywhere. And some cashiers are not very kind, they look very serious and grumpy.Thats something ShopRite should work on.

There WAS one problem that I had as people pick up what they wanted from the shelves when I came along I couldnt see IT was there but I couldnt not reach it because IT WAS all the way in the back. Honestly yes it is an ugly store and I become very homicidal while Im there because its always so packed and the other shoppers are super annoying. Theres never any parking on the weekends and the lines are long but the staff is great. Super friendly and very helpful. Amazing seafood department and good prices

The biggest group of weirdos, mental cases, geriatric cases and altogether decent food you will find in this area. This mornings experience describes it best: I was last on line at the fish counter. Finally after ten minutes or so I was the only person on line. At this point a man in a long coat with dark sunglasses walked up and pushed me aside and placed his order. Expect nothing less.

Fresh food and friendly employees, slow at the deli sometimes when they open in the morning (4-5 plus people setting up from deli to seafood and they just just ignore Excuse Me) but I cant take that little frustration out on the rest of the store. I am a disabled person and I can always find personal help throughout the store, register and loading my car.

Great selection, great sales, friendly cashiers and a neat store! Kosher section could be bigger, but I love shopping here anyway
