My mom and I have always done business with big r, when the friend who wasnt able to work on her favorite rider,we had seen they offered pick up service for them and figured they were a good and reliable repair service, I purchased another so there would be 2,and so we sent both in for tune ups,the older one had a few issues about running after awhile, they had to pick it up 3 times,still doesnt start now for her they said she just needs to push harder on brake never had to before,was told there was no brake before but there was,wont let them take it again,trying to find a better repairman

They either need people that actually know they’re own dept they’re working in or they need better trainers to train these young kids. Walked in to get a external fuel pump just like the one in my hand that I brought inside and asked if they had any. The employee didn’t know what it was or how to look for one and asked for a lawnmower make and model. It wasn’t for a lawnmower and the kid said well I have to have a model number. Even though we physically had the old pump in our hand in the store. Either train your new hires better or put him in a different dept. we even called true value and farm and home. Sadly they were out but they didn’t even need a lawnmower model number because a fuel pump can be to 100 different things! this isn’t our first issue like this with big r and we buy there a lot but now they have officially lost our business. Shout out to Tru Value and Farm & Home for your expertise and excellent customer service!

Went to the Gun and Ammunition section to buy some ammunition for a friend that owns a gun club. No ammunition. Owner told next customer that he would not sell ammunition to me because I resell it. Sorry Mister Owner I do not make a cent on the purchase. Not sorry Mister Gun and Ammunition Owner, I will never step a foot in your gun shop corner again if I even see ammo stacked to the ceiling!!

I found everything I needed, and its never crowded whenever I go there. Things are quite easy to find even though they remodeled the place.

Great place to find the little things like washers and cotter pins. Having tires put on rims for the cart we pull behind the lawn tractor. Great group of people, always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Its nice not to have to walk all over like the box stores. Always try to shop locally owned. Unique items for sale.

Dropped off a snow blower and was told it would be 1 week. Called after 2 weeks and was told guy was on vacation. Called 2 weeks after that and they said they were waiting for a call from me that they left me a message. They did not. That was a lie. Then they said they cant fix it as they couldnt get the parts. Went to pick it up and they couldnt find the ticket. Found the snow blower but did not put the broken handle and rope with it. Thought it was in the bag but it wasnt.Called them and they said it was with the snow blower....no it wasnt. Took the snow blower to another shop and it didnt need any part, just needed the carburetor cleaned. Recoiled a new handle and rope and it works perfectly. Big R charged $30 to do nothing. My guess is they didnt even look at it. Had it a month. Terrible service.

I have always enjoyed my visits to Big R , every employee that I have ever met was very helpful and knowledgeable and the are honest and helpful, they are the number one place to go for repairs.

I have always loved Big R, but today I love it even more! After I had completed my shopping, I went to start my car and found that it wouldnt start. I went back into the store with my 2 year old to call someone for help and stay warm. An employee immediately asked me what was wrong, and when I explained and said I needed to go pick up my other child from preschool, told me to stay right there. In less than 10 minutes, they had gotten my car started and had me on my way. When I returned to purchase a new battery, the employee was waiting on me and swapped out my battery quickly despite the falling snow! While we were waiting, another employee complimented my childrens behavior, and asked if she could buy them a few tootsie rolls. Above and beyond! Im beyond impressed and thankful!

Big R is a very nice family owned farm & home store. They just opened a gun shop and offer a 10% veterans discount.

My husband loves shopping for his collectable Ford Trucks & Scaled John Deere Tractors here. Prices are always reasonable. Store is always filled with cool mdse & great bargains. Its a unique place too find that special something.

Good place to visit for farm and outside work supplies. Workers are knowledgeable and polite. Selection is limited, but product quality is very good.

She made sure I found everything at check out. All the store was well organized and well stocked. All around great experience!!Came in again. They have everything farmboy including toys. Great quality toys only here. Carhart and tons of overalls. Lawn furniture and all lawn supplies. Tons of camper parts. Great pet section. No key holder in the front. They are building a new gun center. Whoop whoop. Will be nice I bet.

Was looking for perennials and there were very few, mostly shrubs, but only a couple of perennial flowers. Loads of annuals. Otherwise, the staff here seem very nice and knowledgeable.

Had what I needed

Frustrated with the mower repair shop. Called ahead to locate a place to repair my mower and was told 7-10 days wait list. So, I borrow a trailer and take it in within the hour to drop off ... but when arrive, I am told it would be 3-4 weeks and shouldve not have been told 7-10 days. Called after a 2 1/2 weeks to get a status but they dont even want to look it up to see where it is on the list...Now saying that I shouldve been told Itll be at least 4 weeks from the date dropped off. Frustrated with Big R. Why were they not honest up front? I shouldve gone elsewhere. Still waiting...
