Always nice and friendly. I cant help but chuckle at the review that says otherwise and was going to Tractor Supply for chicks. Good luck with that! I bought there one spring due to icy roads and it being closer. So did several friends. We all paid for pullets and got half to 3/4 roosters.

Good selection and the prices seem fair. They did carry out my 50 pound bag of dog food to my car and offered to tote my bale of wood shavings. But the check out line was terribly slow. But I will be back.

The only store I go to when I need to shop for supplies for my 1 pet chicken. Ofc they have many other supplies for farming and agriculture.

We use SoMo for all our sheep needs and for our fence row spray. They have great prices and what we need!

Awesome customer service. My husband went in to purchase CO2 for a dart gun to doctor our cattle and not only did they help us with what we needed one gentlemen (wish I had remembered his name) called around the area until he located a company that would refill it for us. They will always have my business.

Warehouse / dock guys are fine. Not special, but fine. The crew up front at the checkout appear to be poorly trained and not very eager to help. Among other things, they struggle to determine what products are available in the warehouse and most dont seem to have any background in agriculture or livestock.

This store is ok as far as products at a fair price but, I hate going here simply because the staff has to be the rudest people I have ever met in my life. I have been in about 6 times since we moved to the area a year ago. Not ONCE have I ever been greeted upon entering the store. I have been stared up and down, glanced at, and all around ignored but not once have I received even an attempt at a greeting.Every time I have gone to check out I have had to interrupt a conversation between the cashiers. Then I am not treated as a valued customer but as an inconvenience that was some kind of kill joy at a party. Then today as I was checking out was the last straw. Again I was not greeted and had to interrupt a conversation between three cashiers, which I don’t understand because I’ve never seen them busy enough to justify more than one cashier... anyway my entire interaction today with the staff I was simply asked if that was all I was buying and once the transaction was finished I was told “you’re all set”. Not a have a nice day, thanks for coming in, come back soon, or even how you doing.I can honestly say I will never go back. If I were the owner of this facility I would fire everyone and start over. Clearly there is a problem here that is bigger than one or two people. I will drive all the way across town to a competitor that is polite before I give somo another dollar.

This place is Incredible they have an amazing staff and they always have what we need in stock. They are always so helpful to help me load the heavy big bags of animal feed I always purchase! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Perfect for a quick stop. I go here all the time to get chicken feed and goat feed. They sell hay as well, which is convenient when our regular supplier runs out. They have a great selection of Western wear as well and lots and lots of toys. Great local store!

The staff is very helpful and always polite when I am there. My mom buys her pig feed here and the pigs love it! I wish they carried cedar shavings, but their pine ones are pretty good! Their work boots and clothes are good quality (sometimes pricey, but mostly worth it). My family and I have been using SOMO for our ranch needs for years. Definitely would recommend!

They lost 2 1/2 years of my loyalty and business over a simple issue which could have been resolved in a respectful way. Instead, the biggest fella working there walked up behind me and started accosting me.It started when I called because I believed there was a misunderstanding which resulted in me purchasing the wrong item. I meant to purchase bedding shavings and got pellets, which were loaded in the truck at the dock. Since I didn’t notice until later that night, I called them the next day. They said they wouldn’t do any kind of exchange, regardless of paying any difference. I could tell the guy who was acting as a go between for the manager was the new guy who checked me out at the register. I didn’t want to seem argumentative by trying to clarify the situation to see if they felt differently about the exchange, so I decided to go to the store the next day and address the issue in person. When I got there, I went to the guy who greeted me from the register and said; “I have a disagreement I would like to talk to someone about”. He asked me what it was about (the first step in determining who to refer me to), so I started explaining everything. Soon after I started to explain how I would like to clarify the situation to see if they would change their mind (I would have understood if their answer was still no), I was interrupted by a forceful voice saying; “We told you over the phone yesterday, we weren’t doing an exchange.” As I tried to explain my intentions, I was interrupted with accusations of trying to go behind management’s back by going to a new employee and attempting to get him to do something he shouldn’t. The first words I said in the store were; “I have a disagreement I would like to talk to someone about”. That’s not surreptitious in any way. I was only allowed to speak for myself when I spoke over him and told him, he isn’t giving me a chance to defend myself and he keeps interrupting me. After I was allowed a few brief words, he continued accosting me, so I tried to tell him I felt he was being aggressive and rude and it wasn’t necessary. I should mention, I never raised my voice or used profanity, nor was I aggressive in any way. He wouldn’t calm down, so I simply said; “You have lost my business” and I turned and walked away.I never had a problem and some of us had several laughs and conversations together in the 2 1/2 years I’ve been buying my feed and supplies there. I would have accepted a no if they still felt the same way after a polite conversation and clarification of the situation. That’s why I didn’t bring the pellets inside. I’m just not sure why they felt it necessary to handle the situation so aggressively. There was no apology or change in attitude when I addressed it either. I also can’t understand why they felt it necessary to send their biggest guy to intimidate a small fella who usually walks with a cane and needs assistance with heavy items. I don’t always need my cane, but I usually need it on the days I go in there, so it’s quite obvious I’m not going to be aggressive.I’m really disappointed it came to this. I don’t want to go elsewhere, but I treat everyone with dignity and respect, and I insist on being treated the same way (something I wasn’t afforded during my last visit to SoMo).

I was told by a friend about this store last year while Christmas shopping. I love the store and the prices! I searched for good prices on Muck boots and found them cheaper at SoMo.I had to return several pairs of boots for different sizes and they were very nice and helped me find the sizes I needed.If youre shopping at SoMo and have questions or need help finding something Ill guarantee theyll be there to help and will appreciate your business! I needed help finding a sprayer for my 4 wheeler. They didnt have what I was looking for but told me what I needed even though they didnt carry it. They also helped me pick the correct type of herbicide and dye. Fantastic customer service !

They need to work on their customer service skills. I was needing assistance with an item and all I got was attitude. I was interested in a hose reel cart out front and noticed the tires were flat, I asked the store associate if they would air up the tires and they refused. Good luck trying to sell a hose reel cart with flat tires.

Much narrower selection of true farm & ranch supplies & services then the other farm store just down the street. This is more of a feed store with a brightly lit farm & home section. If you need a part for you sprayer or tractor, chainsaw sharpened... go elsewhere. If you need a broad selection of animal feed, poultry water dispenser, or electric fencing.. this is a good place to shop. You will however have to ask for the feed you want, pay, then go around to the loading area with your vehicle. Very little of the feed is actually on display. One very nice thing is in the spring they always have a nice selection of new hatch chicks in the store for sale, not as many ducklings & goslings but they do have some.

Have been using SOMO for a couple of years. Always greeted when I walk in the door. They always have what I need and then some. The warehouse staff is friendly and always very attentive. Prices are very resonable. I highly recommend SOMO.

I was here on June 7th,2018 around 11:50 a.m. arrived from out-of-state I drop off delivery , there for less than 20 minutes, those young guys, they are outstanding when it comes to doing their jobs efficiently, and quickly . they are very helpful and nice in their demeanor.

Good stock gates and cattle gaps also tagging stations, rabbit hutches and chicken koops. full line of feed for the whole ranch and some stuff you wouldnt expect. the savings are worth the trip.
