We love seeing Dr. Filipowski. He is friendly and welcoming. He provides great information and answers all our questions!! Nothing against other providers, but he is the reason we come back year after year!

This was the best experience I have EVER had from start to finish. The atmosphere and staff were very pleasant and professional. Dr. L. was fantastic and had an awesome attitude and presence! My husband and I both had complete eye exams, ordered contacts then went next door for glasses. I recommend this place fully to anyone looking for a a new Optometrist!!

Receptionists: first impression, not friendly. Too busy with their tasks. No greeting. Just direct you to complete the form on a clipboard. No interaction with customers at all really as I was exiting the business. Receptionists are face of a practice and not good impression. (1 star off because of the receptionist)Technician: friendly, explains everything, and cleaned the machines. Quick and responsive to questions.Doctor: very thorough with his exam, explains all his actions, and explains the prescription. I felt the sense of care from my exam.Appointments; very easy to scheduled, reschedule, and cancel appointments on the website without having to be on hold with their phone line. Appointment was scheduled at 12 but I wasn’t seen by the doctor until 12:30. Initially, I was frustrated but after seeing the doctor and seeing how much he gives his time to customers and explain everything, it made sense.

Everything was more than I expected. The front desk staff were very professional and the eye Dr. was very detailed and thorough when explaining everything.

Everything went very smoothly, from check-in to getting my prescriptions for glasses and contacts when I left.At the front desk, I was notified before being seen that my VSP plan was out of network, and the charges I’d be responsible for were explained. There were no surprises at the end, and I was charged exactly what I was told would be.I initially considered not being seen here and finding an in-network provider after being told they were out of network, but I’m glad I didn’t, because Dr. Filipowski was just a delight. Very friendly, explained everything he was doing and answered my questions very clearly and patiently.No complaints at all, very pleased overall!

My husband and I had our first eye exams since the beginning of the pandemic, and we felt quite safe here. We were the only ones in the waiting room, and they have installed a shield between the administrative staff and the patients. In addition, there was plenty of hand sanitizer on hand. As always, their eye care was thorough and top rate. Weve been going here for many years, and we highly recommend.

These guys are amazing. They were able to squeeze me in at a moments notice for a foreign body removal from my eye. The doctor who aided me was very professional and very skilled and had the steadiest hand Ive ever seen. On my follow-up there was still more material that they were unable to remove and were able to get me in to another specialist who was able to complete the removal. Every person I spoke with here was exceptionally kind, courteous, and professional.

Very friendly folks. Made an appointment and so didnt have to wait. The initial screening was smooth and quick. I especially appreciated the ocular photos as an option to avoid pupil dilation. Dr. Chang thoroughly explained the exam results, showing me what she was looking for at each step. This is the way customer/patient care should be.

I had a great experience at Dr. Changs office. I have been looking for an eye doctor in the DC area for years, going to a different doctor each year trying to find someone who was both efficient, yet took the time to explain details of my eye health. Dr. Chang was both of these things, and I will definitely be a repeat patient. The receptionist was also friendly and efficient, no problems with my health insurance, and overall a great visit.

Quick, easy, painless!

Four stars because the doctor I saw prescribed a specific contact lens brand for me that I dont like. If you want a different brand you have to deal with driving back down to the doctor office and sitting through an appointment - which is annoying. I sincerely believe the only reason eye doctors do this is because they sign an exclusive deal with that lens manufacturer to prescribe their lenses. I didnt try on any other lenses so how could the doctor know that was the best lens for me? In my opinion this is skirting the eye doctors responsibility to give their customers their choice in brand. There is nothing proprietary between contact lens brands, for most people this is a budget decision which has nothing to do with the doctor.

Dr. Chang and associates were professional, honest and made me feel welcomed.

I have come to expect quick, efficient, and thorough results when visiting Dr. Changs office. The staff and Dr. Chang work together as a great team. Dr. Chang is very quick without compromising quality care.

I had a 7:30pm appointment and there was no wasted time. As soon as I checked in and filed out a patient information form the staff was checking my insurance coverage. I didnt wait at all to see the doctor and she answered ALL of my questions with direct and easy to understand answers. VERY pleased with this visit.
