Went there because the exhaust noise and our truck and everyone recommended them. Turns out it was just the heat shield.....now,this is where some shops would have went ahead and replaced the muffler like we asked and not said anything. Not at this shop, they where completely honest and saved us a couple of hundred dollars. Thank you A1 on Kearney!!!

Wow! I was referred to A-1 from my dealership to have part of my muffler piping replaced due to rust. They got me in, gave me a quote, ended up doing both sides because the other side was on its way out and finished within 45 minutes! Very impressed prices are great. I will definitely be back if I need any muffler work in the future.

I took my van in because I was told by a mechanic that the bulb on the rear light wasnt the problem but might be electrical. I was afraid it was going to cost me lots of $. He told me to go to A-1 Muffler and they do nice work. The next day I took the van in, waited (and prayed) when the mgr came over and gave me the keys. He said. There ya go. I said, how much is my bill? He said, Nothing.What???? He said they mechanic didnt know how to put in the light bulb. It needed to be turned a certain way. Are you kidding me??? I was elated and upset about the stress the other place told me but A-1 Muffler made my day, rather made my month!Thank you SO much A-1 Muffler for being honest and upfront with me. I have just found the Only place that will work on my van ever! 10 stars!

I called the day before to my exhaust done. They told me they could do it at 8am and I showed up at 8am just for them to tell me to leave the car with them for 3 hours and they’d get to it. After expressing that’s why I called in advance the guy was super rude about it and walked away.

Very very terrible customer service. They didn’t want my number or name when offered, they never planned obviously to call me and tell me a different issue going on until I called them because of said refusal on my name and number, and when called they never told me they were closing so my car was stuck there over night. Also left my keys in the ignition and had my car sitting out as well in broad daylight. Could’ve been having a bad day or something but I’ve never been treated so poorly by a shop. Job itself seems good though, but how you’re treated is mediocre at best. I was nervous the whole time by leaving my car with someone who couldn’t even be polite or friendly with a customer.

My go to place for exhaust work. Drop off in morning before they open pick up after work. Good job done. Fair price.

Went to have a muffler installed and everything went smoothly. They were pretty busy but kept me informed on the progress of my car. Ended up taking a little longer than they expected but still made a happy customer out of me in the end.

DONT EVER USE THIS SHOP!I brought my car here because of a recommendation from a family friend, and I regret it entirely. About a week and a half ago I brought my car in because the catalytic converter was going out and I wanted to get a quote and find out whether or not it was both converters. They took a look at it, told me it was just one and it would be $700 and something. I was like great! Every other shop just wanted to replace both and it was going to be $1200. So, they ordered the part and I brought my car in on Thursday around 11am, I asked previously how long it was going to take because I had plans with my grandma Friday morning. The mechanic told me it would only take about 2-3 hours. Well around 1 or 2pm he called and told me they couldnt get the O2 sensor out, so theyd have to replace that, and no one in Springfield had one after market so they had to get it from the dealer.. $200 extra, but he wasnt going to charge me a parts markup because this was unexpected. Okay, fine, these things happen. Fast forward to 4pm, he calls to tell me my car is done, so I rush over there before they close to pick it up. As soon as I pay my $900 and something I drive out of the parking lot and my car has NO POWER. I cant get it to go past 55mph! Its after 5pm at this point so Im calling and calling trying to get someone to answer, and finally they do. I explain whats going on and they guy asks if the engine lights on and proceeds to tell me it probably needs oil and the only thing I can do is bring it back and drop it off overnight because his mechanic is gone and they cant do anything. So I putt my car back to the shop and check the oil, which mind you I got changed less then 300 miles ago. The oils fine. Now fast forward to Friday morning, I call around 10am to find out whats going on... they guy tells me they put the wrong O2 sensor in and hed have to order one, and autozone could get it there Saturday morning.. cool. So at this point Ive lost it and Im yelling because this was suppose to be a two hour job, and these idiots put the wrong part in my car!! So, this morning I get a TEXT telling me I can come pick up my car, even though I had told them yesterday I worked all day today! So I told him again I was working and had no way to get it, he told me he could bring me my car. That was nice, I wasnt going to leave a bad review because he was going out of his way to make the situation better. This was said around 10am. Now, its 5pm and Im driving up to the shop with my boyfriend to pick my car up! I called him around 4pm to find out if he was bringing it, and he told me uhh, youll probably just have to come get it. OKAY! THANKS FOR NOTHING! you could have let me know earlier you wouldnt be bringing it, because I thought something had happened to my car all day! NEVER USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND I SUGGEST YOU DONT EITHER!Update: When I went to pick my car up AFTER I asked for copies of ALL the receipts, I get there and this man has the AUDACITY to hand me ONE receipt for the WRONG part they put in the first time. When I asked him how much the correct part was he tell me it was about $20 cheaper, and so I tell him I need a refund for that $20 then. He then proceeds to tell me Well, since we put this part in your car we cant return it, so we have to eat this price. THATS NOT MY FAULT YOU OR YOUR MECHANIC IS INCOMPETENT! Im then told I can come back Monday morning and speak with Randy and he will get me my refund.Now, about 15 minutes ago I get a text telling me that he just received the bill it was $30 more then the wrong part they put it so Im welcome to bring that $30 in tomorrow. THATS A JOKE. I will be going up there tomorrow morning and speaking with Randy about the complete lack of intelligence his people have and how all of a sudden the price goes up $30. Ill also be calling autozone myself to find out exactly how much the part was. I am completely disgusted with this company and will be taking this further up.

My girl need to get her muffler welded back on, in the past this is something that has never cost me more then $20 and usually less then that( its only a 5 min job if that long) they way over charged her $50 thats BS.

Wouldnt recommend them to anyone, went in for an inspection, said my ball joints were bad, gave me a repair quote for 600$, took it to another more respectable shop and it passed with no problems, whomever does the inspections might need more or better training and stop trying to rip people off!
